“Look it’s Hercules, Mama!” Mara points at the tablet as she watches the film Disney’s Hercules. 


I let her watch the whole thing first because I know she will begin to ask questions after. 


Soon as the movie’s over her intuitive eyes sparkles at me. “Mama, is Hercules really the best hero?” 


“He is one of the heroes of the Greek and Roman Mythology.” 


“There are some differences sweetie.” 


“Where to begin…” Mara snuggled up in my chest as she looked up, ready to listen. “In Greek Mythology, he was known as Heracles and the Roman equivalent is Hercules.” 


“Why did the movie say Hercules if he’s from Greece?” 


“He was a lot more popular by the name Hercules because of the Roman influence. Do you prefer calling him Heracles or Hercules?”
