Despite my busy and eventful weeks, I was able to manage to put in some time and plan a small birthday party for Mara. 


Drayce and I planned that he will pick her up while Thalia, Jeremy, and I set up the pool. 


I have invited my aunt and cousins from New York and also some kids from the daycare. 


I was busy setting up the table when Thalia stood next to me. 


“Wow, this is your house soon?” She asks as she eyes everything with awe. 


“It isn’t my house. It is Jeremy’s.” 


“It’s going to be yours soon! Conjugal properties remember?” 


I chuckled. “Regardless, this is still his. I have no input whatsoever in this house.” 


“Say whatever you want, but girl you are so lucky. He’s the perfect guy alright. So happy for you.” She hugs me as I smile. 


However, as I stare at him setting up some decorations around the pool, I couldn’t help but think about what Thalia said.
