EVELYN DE LUCA
After almost dying from the tickle torture, I am completely wiped out. Like, bone-deep tired. My ribs ached, my cheeks hurt from laughing, and I felt like I’d just run a marathon with no finish line in sight.
It was exhausting but fun.
So, everyone else after the long day. So, Instead of slaving away in the kitchen, the family made the decision to call in a pizza order. No one had the energy to argue, least of all me.
Even Dad and Silas, who usually stayed clear of our evenings, decided to join us in the theater room for some food and a movie.
The room buzzed with low chatter as we settled in, passing around boxes of pizza and soda cans. The smell of pepperoni and melted cheese filled the air, and for a moment, everything felt cozy and perfect.
