Birthday

The sunlight made its way into Angelica's bedroom. Angelica yawned lazily as she got down from her bed. She made her way to the window to see if the ran has began but to her surprise, nothing unusual happened.

"Like my surprise?" Nicholas appeared behind her. Angelica got startled. She looked at him as many questions were written on her face.

"How did you get in here?" Angelica threw the question at him with an eyebrow raised.

"Through the door," He said casually as he sat on her bed. Angelica became more surprised.

It was clear that a guy shouldn't enter a girl's room except if they are married.

"Why are you in my room? " Angelica curved her lip as she asked him. Nicholas smirked.

"Why? Should I leave? Weren't you the one who told me to be here on your birthday?" Nicholas asked and Angelica gulped hard.

"I said you should be here but not in my room. It's an abomination in our land for a guy to enter a girl's room" Angelica explained. Nicholas scoffed.

"Really? Well, I'm not a citizen in this land and I don't care about your rules." Nicholas vividly stated.

"Well, Do you like my surprise?" Nicholas changed the topic. Angelica gave him a questioning look. What is he talking about?

"Eh? What surprise? Did you bring something for me?" Angelica clapped her hands as she jumped in excitement. Nicholas sighed.

"Your kingdom is not destroyed by rain, isn't that enough surprise birthday gift for you?" Nicholas rested his chin on his arm as he lazily said. Angelica's eyes widened.

WTF!!!!

"You did that? Like, How come?" Angelica was short of words. She didn't know if she should jump in excitement.

"There's nothing I'm not capable of." Nicholas stood up as she walked to Angelica. He halted when he knew he was already too close to her. His nose was touching hers and Angelica's eyes fluttered with her mouth opened.

"Thank.... you," Angelica said lowly. as her eyes were staring into his flames eyeballs. Nicholas intensely stared into her purple eyeballs. Angelica felt a machine thudding in her stomach.

"Does he want to kiss me?" Angelica crazily thought.

"Shouldn't I also receive something in return? I did something that you always wanted. I should have something in return" He whispered and Angelica blinked. A smile crept on her lip.

"My gift is that you should marry me quickly so that I can give birth to many children for you" Angelica spat out and Nicholas's brain sprang. He began to cough severely. Angelica raised a brow.

"Ahh" Nicholas's hand was on his chest as he coughed. He didn't expect that nasty talk from her.

"I guess my time on human land is beginning to expire," Nicholas said within. Angelica gave him a cup of water. He pushed it away.

"I don't need it" Nicholas rejected. Angelica kept the cup away.

"Are you alright?" Angelica asked and Nicholas nodded.

"I need to leave now" Nicholas attempted to leave but Angelica stopped him from leaving.

"You are not going anywhere," Angelica said sternly and Nicholas raised a brow

"And why?" Nicholas asked and Angelica frowned.

"I want to go with you" She pouted her lip and Nicholas laughed.

"You must be insane, little prey. I'm going to where humans are prohibited" Nicholas creased his eyebrow.

"Are you saying, you aren't human? Don't be ridiculous!!" Angelica laughed as she tapped him. Nicholas's mouth was wide open.

Firstly, he has not seen her laugh this way before

Secondly, was she supposed to be laughing about his speech when he was damn serious about what he said.

Thirdly, What kind of girl is this anyway?

Angelica stopped laughing and then she frown at him

"If you don't want me to come with you, then, you are going nowhere" Angelica threatened.

That was it!! This girl is crazy!!

"You can't stop me!" Nicholas said hoarsely but Angelica didn't mind him.

"Ha! I have an idea. How bout you take me out? Out of this place, somewhere far away" Angelica suggested and Nicholas itched his eyebrow. He went back to her bed and sat on it.

"Uh? What do you say about it?" Angelica followed him behind.

"You have to tell your parents first," Nicholas said lowly and Angelica quickly rejected it.

"No!! I don't want them to know about it" Angelica said. Nicholas heaved a sigh as he stare at the little one in front of him.

"If you don't tell them it will look as if I kidnapped you from the palace," Nicholas said casually as he crossed his legs.

"Then abduct me and never bring me to this palace ever again" Angelica hastily said and Nicholas's head snapped to her. Did he just hear right? Oh no!!

"Stop it, Princess! Are you kidding me?" Nicholas looked frustrated and tired.

"I'm not joking," Angelica said with seriousness. An idea popped into her brain.

"Wait!" Angelica said and she dashed into her bathroom. She hastily took her bath and changed into clean clothes. She took a backpack and packed some of her clothes in it. She returned to Nicholas, looking clean and ready for leaving. Nicholas opened his mouth and closed it back. He was short of words. He didn't know what to say or do anymore.

"Luckily, I guess it's time for my plan to take place" An inner voice spoke to Lucifer. He stood up from the bed and held her shoulders.

"You want this and don't regret it later" Nicholas's voice was frightening but Angelica remained calm and steady. She flashed a smile at him.

"As long as I'm with you, I won't regret" She embraced him. Nicholas gulped his spit hard as something in his mind was telling him that he was doing something dangerous. He didn't know what might happen after their journey out of the kingdom but he could sense danger from afar. The funniest part was that this girl before him was negligent. She had heard several people calling him the devil and he even appeared in her dream telling her that he was the devil and yet she wasn't scared of him. This is Ridiculous and Crazy!!
