Till forever

"Now, what were you saying?" Jackson asks though he wasn't really interested but he suddenly felt like these dark witches might actually be fun.

"The dark witches are up to something"

"And....how do you know that? Ain't you a..... What do you call yourself again?.."

"A resurgent" she rolls her, she knew he didn't really care. "And I know because resurgents are just trained black witches with more control over their Powers, it doesn't exactly cut off the connections we have with the other dark witches."

"So...what are they up to?" Jackson leans his head forward a little.

"I don't know, I just have a feeling." Jackson lips twitch, "but.....there's a way, just I won't be able to pull out."

Jackson lifts his brows again for her to continue. She sighs. "What I'm trying to say is.... I'm going to have to tap into my dark magick but the problem is I could get stuck in it and not be able to pull out of it."

Jackson raises his brows definitely confused. "Explain?"

She sighs loudly. "When trying to pull out of that darkness, our first practice was to choose what reminded us of a path...like a light, something you're willing to come back to."

"And what was yours?"

"Your mother.....I didn't have anyone so I made your mother my light." She gulps.

"OK.....now she's dead, what are you doing to do?" His face has no expression or a tinge of emotion just blank and cold.

Heather was worried, worried that it might actually be hard to restore his humanity and he was only five! She was really worried. She had to contact Halley ASAP.

"Maybe if you smiled a little, you'll look a little bit like her." She uses her thumb and index finger to emphasize 'little'.

Jackson breathes out heavily and then his lips pulled up, his teeth showing between his slightly opened lips.

Heather looks at him with a confused and irritated gaze, "what are you doing?"

"Smiling" he says through his teeth

"That would definitely fuel my instinct to kill rather than try pull me out..... You should really stop!" She says eyeing him like he was an alien.

"Ha! Thank goodness, that kind of hurt my muscles there" He says massaging around his mouth.

"How exactly do we help each other when you're not interested in anything?" She sounded annoyed.

"I wasn't the one who signed some contract with you that said you have to be with me, so.....if you could fly away witch for all I Care." He waves his hand in the air shoving her off to fly.

Heather stares hard at him. For Lucinda....for Lucinda. She chants in her head breathing slowly to calm her nerves.

"Its all falling into place Donny." Sheila had a sad smile on her face, her eyes twinkling. The war kept coming closer.

They were both seated on a bench that faced the tall, thick trees of the forest. Donald clamps his hands on hers.

"Till forever." He closes his eyes dropping a kiss on her back hand.

"Till forever!" She smiles.

"Dad....mom" The cherry voice of Jaxon brought then out of their own world.

Behind the four years old boy was Amelia and Emerson. He was pulling both of them to the bench.

"I want to show you all something." He seats the couple and moves in front of all of them. "Its something I and my aunt Amelia have been working on...." He turns around.

Their curious eye watch him, Amelia was silently yay-ing. Jaxon shrugs his shoulder twice, blowing out air from his mouth, he sprints and then jumped high in the air.

#Thud#

Four paws land steadily on the ground, its gray furs shimmering under the beautiful sky, its eyes blue as the oceans. It looked too cute and undescribable.

Sheila gasps, hands over her mouth, eyes wide as saucers. He did it! All the happiness she felt just couldn't be contained, she sprints to him, falling on her knees she runs her fingers through his furs.

"You're so beautiful munchkin!" The smile not leaving her face.

Donald joins her crouching close to Jaxon. "Now that's an Alpha." He smiles.

Emerson who walked side by side with Amelia chuckles at Donald's word.

"Sure, that is someone determined to be an alpha. When I was your age, I was a delinquent, following my mom all the time that my father feared I might actually take his wife from him." They all chuckled at this. "Here you are beating both I and your father at our own game, I see a lot of potential in you, son."

They all had smiling faces same goes for the little furry wolf who kept wagging his tail and rubbing his snout over his mother's face.

"Can you transform back though?" Donald asks because there has been some situations where they get stuck on their first transformation sometines because they are weak and sometimes because they haven't become one with their wolf which is trying to be dominant.

Their eyes fell on the wolf whose head bent lower, its fore feet stretched forward as its butt stand out.

After a while, the milky skin of a little boy replaces the wolf. He'd successfully shift!

"Now that calls for A celebration, what do you think Donny?" Amelia voice was filled with enthusiasm.

"Of course yes, tomorrow should do, We might have long lives to live but what matters is how you spend every bit of it and I, I want to make sure my son is celebrated for every little achievement." He leans to Jaxon whose lower body had been covered by his mother's shawl. "And you- make sure you do that for your little sister,OK?"

With a cheeky smile, "yes poppa."
