"But is that really all?" Amelia asks as Emerson tucks her legs into the bed.


"Why are you even worrying yourself? You know I don't like you worrying." His eyes held concern and ...something secret.


"Ha! I feel like you all lying or rather hiding something from me." She looks into his eyes. "Tell me Emer, what's going on?"


Emerson sighs, "Its about a little boy, they suspect he's behind the recent deaths happening in the human realm. He was asking if i'd seen him anywhere or know what creature he is."


"A little boy? But why would a little boy even do that?" There was a frown on her face.


"We supernaturals don't grow like humans, like Jaxon, his intellect could be higher than his age, what humans would learn in a year could take someone like Jaxon to learn in a month because of the genes in him."


"Nope! That I'm sure of unless the other packs have been hiding something but....no, I dont think he is a wolf especially with the way these victims have been killed."


"You see, the first victim was a 7 year old boy, according to his medical reports, he died of excessive blood loss with two punctured marks on his neck, they also said he was scared and probably also had an heart attack which is so not natural or even normal for a little boy." He pulls a chair and sits close to the bed where Amelia sat and listened quietly.


"Now, the second was a couple who died of drowning."

"Here's where it gets quirky, they were in the middle of the road with no source of water close by enough to drown them. Reports also state an heart attack for both couples." He pauses waiting for a reaction or reply or just..... anything.


"Well, that sure is tricky but..." With a furrowed eyebrow, "biting into his neck, loss of blood - definitely vampire. Now, drowning without water and heart attack, I'd have said witches but..." She gasps


Emerson nods his head, "yeah, Same thoughts. Demons!"
