Remember that!

"A sacrifice?" Deirdre's furrowed eyebrows deepen.

What sacrifice!?

"Yeah..." He said with a matter of fact tone. "Deirdre listen to the prophecy.... the soil shall be soaked with blood and the air... death." He looks at her hoping she'd gotten the point.

"Meaning.....the awakening can't happen without a war?" Donald nods incessantly like he was happy she was on the same trail as him.

"But..... Who exactly is awakening...is it a new being or..." She paused looking at Donalds hesitant look. "What is it Donny?"

"A..ac..actually, its kinda complicated but according to Sheila's visions....." He sighs, "Its Emerson. The spell or whatever it is falls on him and for some odd reason he doesn't want to hear anything about it because Cheryl is involved." Donald's words coming a little bit rushed.

"Why Emerson?"

"I don't know that but what I do know is that all these has the witches involved. They are the masterminds. All we're hoping for is that whatever awakening that is to happen, it doesn't fall on the wrong hands." He says with finality.

Deirdre watches him with intent gaze. She'd been a guardian to both Alphas when they were still pups and she knew exactly when one was hiding something from her but then they'd never really hidden anything until it was serious.

"Is that all?" She asks

"Yes Deirdre, you know how vague the visions can be. I just hope after all this awakening, there'd be an eternity of peace."

Deirdre scoffs, "An eternity of peace? We both know how steep peace is." Noticing the worry that marred his face she said,

"Look Donny, visions don't mean it must happen, same for prophecies. If it means we can save those we love, then its worth fighting for to the last, we are never late until we are. Always remember that!"

Donald nods, his eyes distant.

"I might begin to protest if my mother keeps pouring all her attention on you aunty."

Jax sat at the foot of the bed watching his mother feed Amelia.

Amelia smiles at the little boy, "well she's my sister, you know." She winks at the little boy.

"I'm going to kidnap my sister from you then and shower her with lots of gifts while you're being fed by yours."

Sheila just sits quietly smiling at both of them throwing tantrums.

"Don't tell me you're jealous." She opens her mouth to take in food being fed to her by her sister. "You see, when we were younger I never got the chance to be bullied because my sister was always there."

Jaxon gives out a low growl. "Momma, I'm hungry too, when will you feed me?" He crosses his arms feigning a look of sadness.
