Vaz Manor

"We'll no longer need the rogues." Halley turns a large sepia-colored sheet that laid on the table.

Cheryl walks closer to her rubbing her bump. They were presently in their large living room standing over a large amaranth table.

"Where is Mari?" Halley asks still fumbling with the sheet.

Cheryl lifts her brows at her sister. Why was she fumbling with the map? "Mason is with her. What exactly are you looking for?"

"Ha! I think I might have a surprise for you!" Mason sat at the edge of the bed stroking Marilyn's hair while she sat cross-legged with a book between her legs.

"Ooh, a surprise!" She beams. "Where is it uncle?"

"I'll go get it but promise you'll stay right here." He lifts his Pinky finger.

"Promise." And she crosses her fingers with his. With a peck on her forehead, Mason walks out of the room.

Coming in from the entrance door of the Vaz manor, a beautiful white fountain with a dove at the top stood at the middle three meters away from the door, behind the fountain was a bifurcated stairs. Beneath it, two sturdy doors stretched away from each other guarded what laid within.

On the right side, exactly adjacent to the fountain, before the right stairs was a door frame, though without a door instead a white luscious drapery covered the space between the door frame complimenting the peaceful and beautiful ambience of the manor.

Mason stood behind the drapery, listening in on the conversation going on in the living room as the backs of both ladies face him.

"There." Halley's index finger firmly stills on a spot in the map.

Cheryl leans over and a frown appears on her face. "Belteram?"

Mason's face held a lot of emotions after hearing the word.
