The vampire's continuity

"Zach, I still suggest you go over this. The demons crossed the line, sure but our war is with them and not the werewolves." Quinn Hackett, aside being a vampire lord, he's always been the the most prudent vampire, one of the many reasons he was the kings advisor and was a mentor to Lucinda.

"Hmm...always the rational one, aren't you?" Zach forced a smile which drops almost immediately. "She reminded me of her mother, you know? Beautiful, calm, peaceful," he scoffs, "nonjudgmental? After her mother, she was the only thing holding me down from not going off the hook and now..."

"I know Zach, even I am mad but... Joining in a war that isn't ours? I feel there's something off going on." He sighs. "Thornhill heads over the messages, what if...."

"No Quinn, not again with that, you can't kee..."

"This is not about myself and Thornhill, its about the vampire's continuity, have you ever thought of what could happen if...."

"Then not everyone would go for it! We can't defeat those demons with no extra-ordinary weapons and the werewolves are planning to either kill them or just keep them. We.Need.Them.More!" He growled.

Quinn sighs. "OK then but if you'll permit me,I would like to stay out of it, I and my people. I can prepare drugs that could help the injured, hopefully they don't end up....

"Quinn!" Zach barked. "I think that'll be enough!" His voice dangerously low.

"My king! The others have arrived." A knight who'd just walked through a largely high-built double doors announced.

"Yes. Let them in." And with that the doors opened wide welcoming the other four Vampire lords.

"My king!" They all greeted with heads low.

"It has come to my notice that not everyone accedes with the idea of having the ability users for the ongoing war?"

Thornhill frowns at this turning his head around to find the oppositions. He thought he'd made the point clear, who..., his eyes fall on Quinn and a scowl appears on his face. The bastard!

"My king, I thought this has already been decided? in fact the fight begins at sundown today on Belteram." And this statement caused a few to exercise a sharp intake of breath.
