Writing mutant creature after mutant creature, Long Tian avoided the ones he had seen before. He even discovered the sacred-blood creature from before.
However, he didn't attack it.
Only watching it from the shadows.
Writing it down into his notebook, Long Tian gradually came to understand how to identify sacred-blood creatures.
If he studies two more sacred-blood creatures, he could probably find out how to find sacred-blood creatures. Much like mutant creatures, the more he saw them, the more he discovered certain patterns.
Like guidelines of how to find and search for them.
His golden eyes rolled, and he quietly left the area to continue searching for more creatures. An hour later, he coincidentally ran into another sacred-blood creature.
It was surprising, but somehow, it seemed normal for this area.
Such a large amount of mutant creatures and herds of creatures will eventually raise a sacred-blood creature. Some sacred-blood creatures travelled with their packs, but others were walking around.
He traveled deeper into the lower valley, and within 12 hours, he discovered three more sacred blood creatures and 13 mutant creatures.
"They're thriving pretty well right now. What's with the fear of earthquakes? Were there more creatures before?" Long Tian muttered as he walked through the shadows, his presence hidden.
Many must have died to have developed such a fear.
Like an assassin in the dark, or a ghost, Long Tian soundlessly walked through the valley and past various trees.
Passing by a tree, Long Tian suddenly came to a stop after noticing a huge hole. It was large, with a diameter of ten meters.
He paused, looking at the hole and noticing a couple of claw marks. It looked like the creature was dragged into the hole, and Long Tian realized that a creature must have fallen through the hole.
Smiling at the funny mental image, he continued moving forward by walking around the hole.
A few minutes later, he found another creature and quickly identifying it as a sacred-blood creature. It's movements and breathing instantly gave it away.
This time, the creature appeared to be a horse. Large and muscular, like the typical stallion. Except this one was five meters tall. It neighed and tapped the floor with its hooves before eating the leaves off a tree.
It appeared mighty, and Long Tian even felt like taking it down to see if it can become his mount. However he quickly reined in his desire, knowing that this horse's speed must be great.
He looked at it and pulled out the notebook, ready to write it in the journal.
Just as his pen touched the page of the notebook, he paused and looked passed the horse. He raised his eyebrows and looked at the incoming creature curiously.
'Another sacred-blood creature…' thought Long Tian, his eyes studying the large brown bear appearing.
The bear appeared normal, aside from it's large size and the black furred paws. It was at the same height as the horse as it walked on its four limbs, but the moment it arrived before the horse, the bear stood on its hind legs.
Its body instantly towered over the horse.
Houu!
Neigh!
The bear roared and horse neighed in response, steam coming from its nose as it angrily stomped the ground with its hooves.
The two stared at each other, the sound of their heavy breaths filling the air. Both waiting for one to make the first move.
Neigh!!
The horse neighed as it made the first move.
Kicking forward with its hind legs as it raised its front legs, the horse kicked at the bear's chest. It caused the bear to stumble back and grunt before slamming down one of its paws onto the horse.
Pa!
Neigh!
The horse was tossed to the side by a couple of feet. It regained its footing and neighed in anger before turning around and kicking back with its powerful hind legs.
Bang!
Hou!
The bear roared in pain as it received the hit straight to its thighs, causing it to fall to its four limbs. It roared displeased, swaggering over to the horse that galloped to the side, dodging the bear's paw swipe.
Bang!
A tree was instantly crushed under the bear's powerful paws and Long Tian was awed. Quickly wondering if he would have the same might if he maxed out on all his geno points.
He grunted and decided to cut that thought of.
'Let's get to safety…' he thought as he looked at the grand destruction that the two sacred-blood creatures were causing.
Many trees had already collapsed and the ground was cracking underneath their might.
Stepping away, Long Tian ran away from the area.
He ran quite a distance, hoping to stay away the danger. His might wasn't as great to be able to escape under the threat of two sacred-blood creatures, escpecially a fast one like the horse.
Rumble!
Suddenly, the ground began to shake.
Long Tian stopped in his tracks and ensured his own safety under this earthquake. He waited and after a few seconds, the earthquake stopped.
"With so many earthquakes happening in such a small timeframe, I can now understand the fear a little better," muttered Long Tian.
HOUUU!
Suddenly, Long Tian heard the roar of the bear, crying out in fear.
Turning his head, Long Tian stared in its direction. He stood on the spot, wondering if he should return and take a look at the situation.
Gritting his teeth, he took the chance.
He only had to deal with the horse now since the bear was dead. It might even be injured as well, allowing Long Tian to take a cheap shot at it.
Moving his feet, Long Tian ran back to the scene.
Da… da… da!!!
With wide eyes, Long Tian rapidly jumped to the side and hid under a tree as he watched the sacred-blood horse galloping away. With fear prevalent on it, Long Tian was now dumbfounded.
Left with no other choice, Long Tian could only go study what had happened.
He trecked over to the scene quietly and with his presence hidden to the max.
Arriving at the place, Long Tian first took notice of the great destruction that the horse and bear's fight had caused. Many trees were either snapped in half or completely uprooted.
He turned his gaze and instantly noticed something odd, a large hole in the ground, with a diameter of 10 meters.
Gazing at the hole curiously, he heard heavy footsteps. He raised his head and he looked at a large creature staring right at him. In its mouth was the same large bear from earlier.
It was dead, and this creature on the other hand appeared unharmed.
Feeling his scalp turn numb, Long Tian realized that the creature was staring at him. Despite hiding in the shadows and keeping his presence hidden, the creature still noticed him.
He took a step back unconsciously and watched as the creature stepped into the hole after withdrawing its gaze uninterestedly.
The instant it had left, Long Tian managed to regain control of his body. He felt it shaking, and his heart was pumping rapidly, pushing hot blood throughout his entire body.
He felt it.
After so long.
He felt it again.
He could feel it.
If he had a mirror with him right now, he would be able to see it. The thing he hadn't felt in a long time.
Excitement.
The smile on his face must be extremely wide, and the will to fight was growing stronger by the second within his body. The intent to battle thumped strongly within his martial heart and flowed with his blood throughout his entire body.
His eyes rolled crazily, and at that moment… he knew.
That creature… it was the strongest creature he had ever ran into.
"What kind of sacred-blood creature is that?" He wondered to himself out loud. "I've never seen one so powerful…"
All the sacred-blood creatures he has met are basically children before this sacred-blood creature he had found. Were all sacred-blood creatures supposed to be as strong as the one that retreated into the hole?
Are they supposed to be capable of killing other sacred-blood creatures effortlessly?

A day later, Long Tian hunted his third mutant creature bare-handedly. Defeating it with more ease compared to the black-back ape.
"Mutant Crystal-horned Deer killed. Beast soul gained. Eat its flesh to gain 0 to 10 mutant geno points."
Long Tian smiled, satisfied with his new beast soul. As he skinned and dealt with the deer meat, Long Tian checked the type of beast soul it was.
'Mount?'
Hearing the word mount, Long Tian revealed a genuine satisfied smile. Glad that he didn't need to walk so much anymore. With the mount, he could return sooner to Steel Armor Shelter.
Walking, it took him half a month to reach Lower Valley. His traveling speed was fast, not sleeping most of the time thanks to his meditative sleeping. He also trained as he traveled, spending most of his time in a sprint as he trained movements gained from comprehending animals for his Xingyiquan.
After the extra five days here at Lower Valley, Long Tian needed a mount to return to meet the deadline of 30 days.
With luck, he had now attained a mount!
He packed up and got ready to leave after preparing and storing all of his meat.
A large bundle of meat from three different mutant creatures was on Shadow. It carried the meat obediently and didn't try to nibble on even a single one as it looked at Long Tian.
Long Tian nodded his head.
He grabbed his weapons from Shadow, strapping them on his person once more. Until he gets an offensive hyper geno art, he will need to use his weapons.
Even with his current introductory stage
Usually, one would need to go to a specialized training facility or own a fitness testing machine to understand one's own fitness. Luckily Long Tian is knowledgeable and understanding to know his own body very well.
He knew his fitness very well.
With maxed ordinary and primitive geno points, that brings his fitness to 5, along with the 31 mutant geno points and three more in his sacred-blood, Long Tian added 1.9 more points to his fitness.

In first God's Sanctuary, one's strength increases in an explosive fashion at first, but slowly decreases as one obtains more geno points. The other God's Sanctuaries are more linear, which has to do with the body transforming and becoming capable of absorbing the strength of geno points more efficiently.
Someone with all four types of geno points maxed out in First God's Sanctuary can only attain a fitness level of 15. If they have strong hyper geno art, they can have a fitness level of 17-18. Those who are talented, or have strong bodies, can be lucky and have one of their fitness levels reach 20.
For example, strength can be a fitness level of 20, but all other values are at 17-18.
Long Tian himself wouldn't have a problem with all his levels reaching the extreme at 20. He was that confident in just his
With his current level of fitness of 8.6, dealing with ordinary and primitive creatures is quite easy. With mutant creatures, dealing with them is a little more tricky, but with Xingyiquan, it is more feasible.
Sacred-blood creatures however… with Bloody Slayer, it will be easy. But with his bare body, it will be difficult.
But not impossible.
