"Rasto, thanks for introducing me to the business," the teddy bear ambled through the flickering candlelight, nodding its cotton-stuffed head at the doctor who was drinking.
"Cut the chatter, make it quick," the doctor, visibly annoyed, lay down next to the elderly woman's armchair.
The teddy bear then turned to look at Charles. "Young man, could you squat down? How am I supposed to take measurements with you standing like that?"
For Charles, this experience was indeed a first. He had never imagined that the arcane spells of the mysterious realm could also be applied in such a way. No wonder the doctor had said this guy could make a prosthetic even on Black Leaf Island.
The teddy bear began by pulling scissors out from its stomach and cutting open the empty sleeve of Charles's left arm, followed promptly by retrieving a tape measure.
"I've heard you managed to lure Rasto onto your ship. Care to share how you did that? He doesn't seem like someone who'd move easily."
