"Don't mind those fools, they are all ignorant mortals driven by desire, mere lower animals no matter how strong they might be. Only by finding the Land of Light and entering the Divine Kingdom of the Light God can we humans obtain eternal happiness and peace."
Charles rarely agreed with Kede's words.
What use was strength when they were still trapped on these islands whose fates were uncertain? They could endure the darkness simply because they had never encountered the Light.
After exchanging information with Charles, Kede immediately set sail and departed. Watching his anxious figure, Charles felt like he was seeing his former self.
As the hope of returning home drew nearer, he actually became less anxious than when he had started.
The next morning, Charles woke up, only to find himself yet again lying in a nameless bar, cuddled with two scantily clad bunny girls.
He shook his dizzy head and walked out of the bar.
