Glancing at the motionless cluster of buildings, Charles reluctantly agreed to Richard's request.
He really didn't want to keep arguing with Richard over such a trivial matter.
The rats designated for the mission to the circular structure were quickly selected, and Richard, taking control of his body, fondly stroked their heads with a smile.
"Little comrades, the arduous task falls to you," he said. "Remember, drag out anything with writing on it or that looks valuable. If you can't drag it out, come back and tell us, and we'll go in to find it. Come on, Lily, make sure you translate properly."
Watching the two rats scurry towards the round facility, a smug expression crossed Richard's face.
"People always like to compromise," he mused. "For instance, if you suggest that this room is too dark and a window must be opened here, everyone will certainly disagree. But if you propose to remove the roof completely, then they will compromise and agree to a window—you know?"
