CHAPTER 21

　　"Hello," I said.

　　"Hi, who is this?" Benjamin?" said.

　　"My name is Maddison, you gave my friend Sada your number and asked that I text you," I said.

　　"Oh, my crush m! What took you so long?"

　　I was caught off guard. I wasn't expecting that at all.

　　"Well, I just got off the class," I said.

　　"Cool, which school are you in?" he asked.

　　"It's a culinary college, I'm on the path to becoming a chef," I said proudly.

　　"Wow, that's interesting. Please, can we text? I need to multitask and I can't concentrate while I'm on the phone," he said, sounding warm and polite.

　　"Why? What do you do for a living?" I asked.

　　"Maddison, keep it real. I'm 100% sure you know what I do, he said.

　　"Yeah, I do know. Ok, I will text you," he said.

　　"Ok cool. Bye babe."
