Minutes ago.
West District.
Knight barracks.
On the roof.
Three people stood there silently, gazing at a mountain falling towards them.
The three people consisted of 2 women and 1 man. These three were Captain Seria, Captain Erisa, and Captain Jake.
"So, can you two destroy that mountain?" Jake asked calmly.
Both Erisa and Seria answered negatively.
Jake frowned.
Seria noticed this and spoke. "That piece of the mountain is tough, 10 times tougher than adamantite."
"How could a mountain have that kind of durability? Don't take me for a fool," Jake said.
Erisa rolled her eyes.
"Hey, Erisa, I saw that," Jake said, irritated.
"Now, calm down," Seria intervened before it escalated.
When they both calmed down, Seria continued the conversation where it left off. "That mountain was infused with a vast amount of mana, making it thousands of times more durable than before."
"So, it is almost impossible to cut that thing," Jake said calmly.
"So, who's going?" Erisa asked.
"I'll go," Seria responded.
"By the way, where's Captain Commander Yuzu? Why is he not doing anything? He could crush this mountain like crushing a rock on the roadside," Jake said.
Erisa shrugged her shoulders and said, "Captain Commander Yuzu has no interest in this level of attack, it's too weak for him to act."
Jake sighed upon hearing this.
While the two were conversing, Seria bent her knees and was about to jump, but before she could leap, an endless dread washed over her body.
Cold sweat drenched her body, and goosebumps crept out all over.
Her eyes shifted toward the direction where she felt the dread coming from.
There she saw a familiar figure wielding a great sword, none other than John.
"What the hell? Does that kid have a death wish? Seria, quick, save the kid before he gets himself killed," Jake said.
Erisa, who was right beside him, rolled her eyes. "Jake, are your senses so dulled now? What disappointing trash. That must be the result of your constant visits to the red light district. Oh yeah, I forgot you are banned there because your little brother is more like a knife than a sword."
An invisible arrow hit Jake's heart like thousands of arrows stabbing him to death. Jake knelt at the corner, depressed.
"How did they know I was banned there? I shouldn't have gone that day... mumble, mumble…"
Erisa, seeing this, smirked and ignored Jake entirely.
"So that's the guy who caught your attention?" Erisa asked.
Seria nodded in confirmation.
Erisa licked her lips while looking at John.
Under the gaze of the two beauties, John cut and destroyed the mountain with ease.
"Erisa," Seria said calmly.
"Level 2 with incredible magic. My eyes are not capable enough to see the bottom," Erisa replied, her eyes glowing with a purple hue.
"Oh, the kid can see us here," Jake remarked while poking his nose with his index finger.
"Impressive," Erisa said, reeking with seduction, her cheeks had a red hue, and her eyes glinted. She licked her lips in anticipation of something that no child should know.
Jake, seeing Erisa's expression, stepped back. Cold sweat continually flowed from his back.
[I should get out of here before I get caught in a crossfire], Jake screamed in his heart. Little by little, Jake stepped back until he was nearing the edge of the roof.
Seria looked at her friend and sighed.
Suddenly, their expressions changed to serious ones.
Beyond the horizon, they could feel a colossal chunk of mana being released.
"This pressure, there is no doubt, a level 10," Jake said.
"…" Erisa.
"…" Seria.
"Do we step in? That kid is the target, I don't think that kid could take a Monster Bomb head-on," Jake asked.
"There is no need. I felt too much dread from him, it's even more potent than the Captain Commander," Seria said.
"That's strong. I didn't expect that, but you shouldn't have said that," Jake said. He wanted to step back again, but he was on the edge, so he stepped aside.
Hearing this, Seria turned her head and saw Erisa's expression, she also involuntarily stepped away.
While they were interacting like this, their full attention was on John.
Under their gaze, John solved the Monster Bomb with ease.
Even though they expected he could do it, the shock still hit them.
They thought that John would cut the attack again, but they didn't expect that he would teleport the entire attack to the sky.
They were shocked at first, but because of their experiences for so many years, they were already numb.
The three watched the entire thing with calmness.
John successfully solved the attack and descended towards the ground.
"Ok, the show is over. Let's go and face that monstrosity," Jake said while yawning.
"Seria, can we take that Monster Que?" Erisa asked.
But before she could continue, Seria hurriedly covered Erisa's mouth.
"Hey, Erisa, don't use that title. It is misleading. If Miss Gold hears you, I can't help. You know that she takes it as an insult if you say that," Seria said.
Erisa hurriedly covered her mouth in a panic and looked around. When she didn't see what she was looking for, she breathed a sigh of relief.
"You forgot about that," Seria said.
"Thank you, I almost forgot about that," Erisa said.
"No problem," Seria said.
"Can I have your attention now?" Jake asked.
"…"
"…"
"Good, let's go," Jake said.
Both Erisa and Seria nodded their heads.
Jake, Erisa, and Seria vanished from their spot, heading towards the Horde's queen with incredible speed, reaching Mach 30.
In a room with a large window, a man was drinking tea. This man was Captain Commander Yuzu.
His lips involuntarily curved upwards.
On top of a tower, a man with orange hair who looked like a delinquent clicked his tongue.
"I'm supposed to do that," the orange-haired man said, annoyed.
On a balcony in the tallest building, a girl in an elegant white dress was looking at John with a smile. (Image is here).
Her eyes showed interest.
Behind the girl was a woman with glasses, her glossy and shoulder-length black hair gently swaying with the rhythm of the wind. (Image is here).
Her attention was focused on her book, but when she felt the boundless mana coming from John, her focus shifted to him. Her face showed surprise.
At the front door of Padalapan, Estefany and Eliza were looking at John's figure with a smile.
"So that is what you were talking about, Estefany," Eliza said as tears began to flow from the corner of her eyes.
Estefany didn't say anything and just hugged her friend, consoling her.
On the roof of Merva Library, Meimei Velka Lokk was watching John's figure without blinking. Her face showed no emotion, but if you looked closely, her lips slightly curved upwards and her eyes squinted a bit.
In Vida's Stand, Vida was standing right beside it, clumsily taking a picture of John.
In the East District, on a certain rooftop, Teresa Rose and Lulu Elfin were watching John solving the two attacks.
"Look at Master, he is so amazing. Isn't he so cool?" Lulu shouted excitedly while shaking Teresa's hand vigorously.
Teresa, on the other hand, was trying to calm Lulu's excitement.
On the Golden Highway 600 km away from the city, a man who exudes a divine aura is riding on a horse stop while looking in the direction of Blue Rose City. This man has blonde hair and orange eyes. He wears a feathered hat. He is slender and of medium height with skinny arms and legs sticking out of his clothes, with orange hair with flowing locks. He also has effeminate looks and an overwhelming charm. this man was Hermes the God of Hermes Familia, (His Image is here).
With a smile Hermes said, "So this is the interesting thing that I felt huh."
