World Divider and Magic

The mountain, the size of an island, falls towards the city, casting a large shadow that covers the city and its surroundings.

All attention is focused on the falling island-sized mountain. For a moment, there is an eerie silence as people try to comprehend why a mountain is falling toward them. Then a scream pierces through the air, followed by another. The initial shock turns into pure terror.

Panic spreads like wildfire, sweeping like a tsunami and bringing destruction in its path. The city becomes chaotic, with everyone running in any direction, trying to escape from the grasp of death brought by the falling mountain.

On the battlefield, John, who is relaxing while sitting, watches the falling mountain with an excited smile.

"A falling mountain, a common move from the book."

After observing the falling mountain, John grabs the hilt of his great sword with his right hand and rests the sword on his shoulder. He then controls his boundless mana and teleports in front of the falling mountain, which is 7 km above the ground.

With a smirk, his left hand grabs the rest of the hilt below his right hand.

His breath changes, taking on a unique pattern.

"First gate, 9th breathing pattern," he chants in his mind.

A burst of great power flows throughout his body. All the oxygen he inhales with the unique breathing technique strengthens his body to an alarming degree, surpassing the current limit his body can take. This boost of power is like a fleeting flame, easily extinguished but hard to burn out like a plague.

"1%, World Divider!" With a shout from his heart, he swings the great sword down with great momentum and force. Momentarily, his fighting spirit manifests, forming a huge silhouette of a man with no facial expression wielding a sword, but it disappears right away.

In the blink of an eye, the rock is cleanly divided into two. There is no sword slash or special attack shown, John just swings his sword down, and the rock is cut in half in an instant.

John knows that the divided mountain is still a threat to the city, so he controls his boundless mana reserves and exerts his maximum mana output, enough to cast grand magic. He raises his hands and points them at the divided mountain.

"Blue Flame."

A blue flame emerges from his hands, forming a sphere of blue fire.

John shoots the sphere of blue fire at the divided mountain. When it hits, the blue sphere of flame erupts with fire, swallowing everything in its path. The blue flame illuminates the night with its blue light, like a beacon amidst the darkness.

In the blink of an eye, the blue fire devours the entire divided mountain, turning it to ashes.

Even though John possesses a literal endless mana reservoir, his output is still small. He is like a man trying to drain the vast ocean by drinking it with a straw.

Despite this setback, there is still a large benefit. He can't use his powerful magic, but he can still use magic endlessly as long as the spell does not exceed his mana output.

After dealing with the falling mountain, John feels a gaze observing him, coming from two directions.

He first looks at the nearest gaze.

His eyes land on a rooftop where he sees three figures, two girls and a man.

The girls are familiar to him, the two beautiful captains he encountered Captain Erisa and Captain Seria. The man, on the other hand, is unfamiliar, but if he remembers correctly, he is one of the captains who appeared in the debriefing.

John nodded to the three captains before turning his head to another gaze he felt.

Beyond the horizon, he sees a massive monster staring at him with its red and menacing eyes.

The monster is massive, like a mountain, standing over 1.3 kilometers tall, and its length from head to tail is over 4 km. This monster is the queen of this horde the Ambist Queen.

John stares back with a fierce smile, reflecting his thirst for battle.

The Ambist Queen feels provoked and responds fiercely. She opens her mouth wide and gathers a vast amount of mana. From deep within her maw, a sphere begins to form a perfect, ominous blue orb of concentrated energy, swirling with a blend of darkness and a bright, destructive hue of red light. The amount of mana gathered in this attack is enough to destroy the continent. This attack is just a casual attack of a Level 10 Monster.

This magic is called Monster Bomb, a unique magic possessed by a Ruling Monster. This magic resembles the tailed beast bomb of the Bijuu from the World Of Ninja Naruto, the only difference is that the Bijuu uses chakra while the Monster uses mana to fuel the attack.

When the orb of dense mana reaches its peak, the Ambist Queen closes her mouth, swallowing the Orb of mass destruction into her throat and down to her stomach.

Her stomach expands like a balloon before returning to normal.

Smoke escapes from the corners of her mouth, her red eyes glow ominously, and the gap in her mouth glows with brilliant red light.

The Ambist Queen stands straight and then opens her mouth, releasing a devastating roar of concentrated energy toward John, who is still in the air.

Everything in the path of the beam is scorched to ashes, and the terrible heat emitted from the beam can be felt for hundreds of miles. All plant life in hundreds of miles is either wilted or burned. The darkness of the night is pushed away by the radiant light of this attack.

Upon observing the attack, John knows that cutting or punching it is not enough. As a result, he decides to use teleportation magic, but he knows that his teleportation range is not enough. So he decided to exceed his mana output to add more range to his teleportation magic.

John smirks, raises his hand, and with a calm and composed movement, hovers his finger in the air for a moment. With a swift, decisive motion, John snaps his fingers. The sound reverberates throughout the city and the battlefield, echoing ominously, bringing momentary silence.

Abruptly, the Monster Bomb vanishes, disappearing as if the attack never existed. But a moment later, thousands of miles in the sky, a blinding light suddenly illuminates the night like a second sun. A few seconds later, a powerful wind sweeps across the world like a storm, uprooting many trees and turning houses and buildings to rubble.

Seeing that her attack didn't hit, the Ambist Queen growls in annoyance. She didn't expect the ant in front of her can do this.

She wanted to launch another Monster Bomb, but her instincts constantly sent alarms that if she dared to launch another one, her life would be at risk.

With these danger alarms in mind, she roars, sending orders to her kin to march forward instead.

On John's side, after dealing with the two attacks, he feels exhausted and dizzy, his stomach constantly churning, urging him to vomit.

John possesses infinite mana, but his mana output is low, limiting his usage of magic. Once he uses magic greater than his mana output, he feels exhausted, dizzy, or even pain in his head.

He falls slowly and lands on a rooftop.

The moment he lands, he can't hold it anymore and vomits.

"My head hurts," John says while vomiting.

"Come on, I only added a few thousand miles. What a stingy magic. I should have used that magic instead," John complains. Even though he is dizzy and exhausted, his battle-hungry smile never disappears from his face. Even though his face is pale, the way he carries himself does not change.

John takes out a mental healing potion and drinks it, recovering 50%.

After drinking it, he stands up and stretches. Later, he sneakily joins the battlefield.
