Clash 8

It's been a few minutes since I joined the battle. I passed through the battlefield, offering my hand by killing all the Ambists in my way.

With expert movements, I dodged and ran at the same time, beheading every Ambist I encountered. While in the middle of my slaughter, I noticed a group of level 3 and 4 adventurers in trouble.

I didn't hesitate to jump in.

In an instant, I decapitated all the Ambists in the vicinity, killing thousands in a single slash. Heads flew in an arc, falling to the ground with a thud!

Before they hit the ground, a fountain of blood spurted from the headless bodies of thousands of Ambists, painting the land red.

The group of adventurers I saved froze, fear etched into their faces.

Seeing their expressions, I couldn't help but sigh. I thought to myself that they wouldn't last long in this profession with such fragile mentalities. If I were their enemy right now, it would be a perfect opportunity to kill them. Their fear made them vulnerable.

I didn't linger long and left, continuing my slaughter.

I ran at great speed, beheading countless Ambists in seconds. Many saw my silhouette, but no one could see my face.

Amidst my onslaught, some Ambists managed to keep up with my movements and attempted to strike.

Take, for example, this three-headed humanoid Ambist in front of me.

At 1 second, the Ambist threw a punch aimed at my face. I leaned forward, dodging the fist.

By 1.5 seconds, the fist passed harmlessly above my head, the force of the punch plowing a hundred-meter trench in the ground.

At 1.6 seconds, I cut off its head with a single sword swing.

By 2 seconds, I had already left, heading toward my next victim without looking back.

As I departed, the three-headed humanoid Ambist fell, blood gushing like a river.

A few minutes passed, and I had killed thousands of Ambists, their bodies piling into a mountain of corpses. Blood constantly flowed like a river, dyeing the ground crimson.

I wandered around, killing more Ambists, when suddenly an intense light illuminated the surroundings. The next moment, a strong shockwave knocked me to the ground.

"Damn, what's that?" I shook my head to clear away the dust, and upon regaining my bearings, I saw a huge mushroom cloud towering over the mountains in the distance.

Are those nuclear bombs? No, that's not it. That kind of light wasn't as intense as a nuclear bomb.

The surroundings suddenly brightened with a pinkish light.

I looked up.

In the sky, a massive meteor, the size of a large island, was descending. The meteor was enveloped in pinkish fire, leaving a pinkish trail across the sky.

The meteor fell at great speed, heading toward the horizon.

A heavy silence blanketed the area. At that moment, no creature had the strength to speak. Fear and despair gripped their entire beings as if the end of the world was near.

Seeing this, a smile spread across my face. After all, an opportunity had presented itself. The Horde of Ambists and the allied forces had both frozen in fear. No one could react or fight.

With the meteor in the background, I continued my massacre.

While I was focused on killing Ambists, a major change occurred in the sky. A huge sphere of destruction, known as the Monster Bomb, shot out from the horizon toward the meteor.

The massive Monster Bomb and the island-sized meteor collided.

Bang!

The tremendous impact created a powerful shockwave that swept in all directions, destroying everything in its path.

Sensing the danger, I turned my head just in time to see the shockwave approaching. I raised my hand and cast a barrier that enveloped the entire battlefield, along with the city.

Bang!

The shockwave and my barrier collided with a resounding explosion, shaking the earth. Chaos erupted on the battlefield, causing panic, and disrupting the ongoing war.

The Horde broke down and scattered, while the allied forces' formation momentarily collapsed in their panic.

An opportunity presented itself again, and I didn't hesitate to seize it.

I dashed across the battlefield, killing all the disorganized Ambists.

A few minutes later, another major event occurred. In the distance, a massive black hole appeared out of nowhere.

The ground shook as cracks formed, and large chunks of earth were pulled up and devoured by the black hole.

Rivers, oceans, mountains, forests, deserts, lakes, islands, and cities were all sucked into the black hole.

Chaos erupted as the world descended into madness. Creatures whether man, beast, or monster were all desperately trying to survive the apocalypse.

Amidst the chaos, I didn't panic. I grinned madly. To me, this was another great opportunity to decimate the entire Horde of Ambists.

With a dash, I swung my sword left and right, killing as many Ambists as I could until the black hole disappeared.

After a few minutes, the black hole vanished, along with the destruction it caused.

"Huh, why did these things stop moving?" While I was on a killing spree, I noticed that the Ambists around me had suddenly stopped, their lives snuffed out in an instant, like a puff of smoke.

I stared at the dead and unmoving Ambists for a while and confirmed they were dead, not just the ones here, but the entire Horde had frozen and died like statues.

I thought for a moment about the cause of death before remembering something. These creatures must be single-entity organisms. In layman's terms, their lives were connected to the progenitor, the Queen who gave birth to them. If the Queen dies, they all die.

But something felt off. Based on my observations of their anatomy, it seemed impossible for them to be single-entity creatures. They didn't have the necessary organs for that.

After pondering for a while, I just shrugged and left.

"If those guys hiding in the background come here, that would be great. If not, it'll be a pity," I said, walking toward the city, leaving the battlefield behind. But before I could go far, I felt a gaze from the sky. My lips curved up slightly.

"Hehe, good answer."
