At the age of 19, Sylvester was sold to the government with the promise of returning to his family once he had passed the training.

Little did he know he would endure a year of torture from numerous experiments carried out on him to weaponize his dormant ability.

Broken and on the verge of death from the mental strain, his little sister–Lila was brought to the facility to replace him, a failed Anomaly.

In a place that would make death seem like a better alternative, the siblings adapted, plotted their escape, and broke free with the help of a little group of awakened outlaws.

But, now that they were under the clear blue skies of the peaceful world, they realized that there was no room for them in this era of civilization, love, and stability. After all, to the world, they were disastrous monsters that had to be put down, irrespective of the cost.

This forced them into hiding to establish the Izan Renegades, an alliance whose sole purpose is to raze the pillars of twisted justice and discrimination against awakeners. Compelling the world into accepting them, or tearing them down in the process.

Strongest Awakener: Villain's Ascent

Fiku gulps audibly once again in response; however, instead of showing fear or even surprise, she simply stares back into Sylvester's eyes in silence.

"Shall we start over? Or would you rather continue from where this would have gone?" Sylvester asks in an intimidating tone which causes Fiku to shake slightly.

"I'm sorry..." Fiku whispers under her breath. "...I was wrong." Her voice trembles slightly when saying those words. "I shouldn't have tried to double cross you."

Sylvester releases her hand and steps away from her slowly while keeping a stern gaze fixed upon her face.

"Before we get to that, I need to check on someone," he tells her curtly while pointing towards a door behind them, and then walks past her without looking back, leaving a stunned and confused Fiku standing alone with a blank expression on her face.
