At the age of 19, Sylvester was sold to the government with the promise of returning to his family once he had passed the training.

Little did he know he would endure a year of torture from numerous experiments carried out on him to weaponize his dormant ability.

Broken and on the verge of death from the mental strain, his little sister–Lila was brought to the facility to replace him, a failed Anomaly.

In a place that would make death seem like a better alternative, the siblings adapted, plotted their escape, and broke free with the help of a little group of awakened outlaws.

But, now that they were under the clear blue skies of the peaceful world, they realized that there was no room for them in this era of civilization, love, and stability. After all, to the world, they were disastrous monsters that had to be put down, irrespective of the cost.

This forced them into hiding to establish the Izan Renegades, an alliance whose sole purpose is to raze the pillars of twisted justice and discrimination against awakeners. Compelling the world into accepting them, or tearing them down in the process.

Strongest Awakener: Villain's Ascent

Rai stops abruptly after hearing ruffles footsteps approaching his position.

"Woah!" As Rai perceives a threat, Keelan jumps out of the line of a lightning strike that is intended for his chest, but misses and instead hits a nearby tree. "Dammit, it's me!"

Rai turns to face him and looks at him with wide eyes for a while, trying to comprehend how he could have just appeared here right now without giving Rai any prior notice.

"How did you manage to be captured so quickly? I believed that no matter what, we were obliged to stick together." Rai asks while shaking his head in confusion.

Keelan responds with a shrug of his shoulders, "what was I expected to do when I was ambushed while with the target? Simply develop a seventh sense, kill them, and return home without receiving the signal?" He pauses for a time before adding angrily, "you're lucky you didn't get caught too."
