My anger is bitter, “Because I’m a prisoner here.”

“No,” My hand-maiden gives me a surprised look. “Because you won’t survive. The entire castle and the grounds have been adapted to accommodate you.”

Rina gives me a small smile, “Master Damien wanted you to feel at ease and since you’re a wolf shifter he wanted you to have enough room to run around and not feel restricted. He’s also arranged for you to be able to hunt in the woods inside the castle.”

I stare at the large section of woods which I could explore for days in my wolf form. This entire castle is massive. I know I’m a prisoner and I was kidnapped but this I have to admit to myself that I don’t really feel like a prisoner right now.
