Dropping her phone on the couch, she gestured towards the door to check who was there. She held the handle, but suddenly paused.

"Who are you?" Ruby inquired, her hand still on the door holder.

"I'm here to help you, Ruby," a manly voice echoed from outside the door. His voice was soft and determined.

"I can't remember seeking any help. So, how do you know that I need help?" Ruby couldn't comprehend what the person outside was saying.

"My name is James and I know what has been happening in your marriage. I know what you have been through in the hands of Hailey. Ruby, I know that you and Aidan are divorced. Not only that, I know countless secrets about your marriage. Trust me, you need me." the man who claims to be James by name exclaimed.

Ruby was speechless, as she stood at the door contemplating whether she should open the door or not.
