110. Don't leave me...

Luna's hand trembled, the flowers she had bought to place inside his room slipped through her fingers, her heart felt like she was viciously hit with a hammer, "N_No" she gasped, her breath instantly turning ragged. "Luna, calm down, we…" Before Mea could even say anything, Luna lifted her shaking feet, and ran as fast as she could, stumbling and almost falling as she did, Mea catching her each time, but she freed herself from Mea's hold and continued towards his room.

And as she moved closer, she felt her steps going heavier, felt the fear slowly weighing her down, felt her life slowly slipping. "He loves me, he won't leave me." She repeated her Mantra as she slowly approached the room.

As she slid the door open, she could see everyone standing there. Doctor Alfonso, her father and Marco. They stood round the bed, so she couldn't see him, she was now feeling even more scared to see him. "Luna," Edoardo called, and even the sound of his voice scared her, tears now trailing down her eyes. All the tears she'd been holding back throughout the months, she promised not to cry, so she didn't, but now, now she could no longer keep that promise.

Trying to muffle the sound of her sobs, she pressed her lips down together, and moved her wobbly feet… "Piccola?" She was instantly halted on the spot, she heard him, she was sure she heard his voice, and she saw Marco and Edoardo move out of the way, all that locked up emotion, all that pain, all the longing and yearning over the months, everything could no longer be contained inside her, she was gonna burst.

"Piccola," he called her again, and she could see him, a wide smile on his lips as he sat up straight on the bed, looking at her. "D__K?" She called his name in a rather confusing whisper, wondering if she was seeing things now. Then he smiles at her, and opens his arms wide, and there it was, the emotions she could no longer hold back, like a child trying to take her first step, and then instantly trying to run, she moved herself and dived into his open arms.

"I thought __I thought you left me, I__ I thought you died, I heard the nurses talking, I got scared, I thought I was never going to see your eyes open again." She cried on his shoulder, holding him as tight as her tiny arms could hold. Edoardo signals all of them, and they all walk out of the room, leaving the two of them alone.

She cried and cried in his arms, and he carried her on his body like the baby she was. Stroking her hair and back, comforting her. To him it felt like he just woke up from sleep, but they told him he was out for three whole months, and that she'd been by his side the whole time, he couldn't even begin to try and imagine how hard it had been for her. He knew she had suffered a lot. He could tell, she was smaller and lighter in his arms, she had lost weight.

"I'm sorry… for not waking up sooner." He says, and kisses the side of her head, and she snuggles into his arms even more. "Thank you… for waking up" she says. "Don't leave me by myself again." She requests, and he kisses her head. "I won't."

"I missed you so much, it was like I would die." She starts crying again, he tenderly lifts her head up from his chest, looking into her big black eyes, and he places his thumbs on both her eyes, and gently squeezes the water out. "You never listen." He purrs, and as she stared at his blue eyes, at that moment, she only wanted one thing…

That he kisses her pain away.

"Kiss me" she asks, and he wanted nothing more but to fulfill this request of hers, and he cups her face in his palm, looking in her eyes, he says "I love you" and he covers her lips with his own, her arms gradually encircling his neck, and his went down and held her waist, pulling her closer to his body, his fingers stroking her back.

She missed him, his kisses, his touch, his presence, she missed it all, and she kissed him, supping, nibbling, tasting, immersing herself in the goodness of his embrace. Soaking in the sweetness that she could draw out only from his tongue, submerging into the savoring bliss that was his mouth, wrapping her lips around his tongue, coating him with her sweetened flavor.

They were in the hospital, or else, she wished to strip right there, and have him touch every bit of her skin, and kiss every curve on her body, and have him make love to her over and over again, and then she'd fall asleep naked, deeply buried in his equally naked body. She wanted that, she craved his touch.

But for now, for now she'd just kiss him as much as she wanted to, grateful to God that he was finally awake and with her once again.
