Author's POV
Lan and Mark sneaked out of the club outside. They sat down on the floor at the back of the club laughing at how silly they looked when they sneaked out.
Mark was already drunk as he kept giggling. Pearl kept giving him shots over and over when she stumbled in her drunken state towards them on the dance floor.
He cuddled up to lan wrapping his hands around him. Tears gathered in his eyes as he sniffled.
"What happened? Are you okay?" Lan asked worried. He held his cheeks looking into his teary eyes.
"Do....you...love.....me?" Mark slurred.
Lan looked confused by the question.
"Of course I love you. Why would you ask that?" He held his cheeks wiping the traces of tears that rolled down his eyes.
Mark frowned and slapped his hand away startling Lan.
He folded his arms on his chest a pout on his lips.
"You're lying. If you love me then why were you worried about Damon and kept asking about him that day?" Mark asked in his drunken stupor.
Lan was speechless. He moved closer to him trying to hold his shoulder but Mark brushed his hand off.
"I was only asking about him because he's our friend and we haven't heard from him in a while. Not because I was worried about him" Lan explained but deep down he knew he was lying. But it wasn't a big deal right? He's only doing this so that Mark won't feel worse and think he cares about Damon when he doesn't.
Mark leaned towards him resting his hand on his shoulder. "R--really?" He slurred his eyes closing slightly.
"Yeah.." lan replied patting his cheeks to keep him awake.
"You can only worry about me okay? Only me" Mark mumbled resting his head on Lan's lap.
Lan sighed and hummed. His fingers running through Mark's hair as he rested his head on the wall.
"I wonder where Damon went to? Did he perhaps leave?" He muttered under his breathe. He felt sour at the thought of Damon leaving for some reason.
"He couldn't even tell me when I was the one who invited him" He mumbled feeling offended.
They sat their for a while, Mark was asleep and Lan was deep in thought. His phone rang pulling his attention.
He struggled with the weight on his lap and pulled his phone out of his pocket.
"Yeah Jacob?" Lan answered.
"Hey are you with Mark?"
"Yeah I am, is their a problem?" Lan asked.
"He's drunk right?" Jacob asked sounding amused.
"He's definitely gone" Lan chuckled as he stared at Mark.
"Nate left with a girl and Pearl and Luke left together as well cause Pearl kept throwing up. Where are you both? cause I am about to leave" Jacob asked.
"Oh right! Can you come get us please, I don't think I can lift him up on my own. We're at the back of the club" Lan explained.
Jacob hummed ending the call.
A few minutes later Jacob came lifting Mark off of Lan. They took a taxi. Mark's head was lan's shoulder as Jacob sat on the other side of the door looking out of the window.
"So....what's going on between you and Mark?" Jacob asked still looking outside the window.
Lan eyes snapped to him in shock. He gulped terrified.
"What---what do you mean? Their is nothing going on be--"
"Don't lie Lan, at least not to me." He turned a smirk on his lips.
"I have been watching you both. You have gotten much closer and most times always arrive or leave together. If everybody else is dumb to notice, I'm not. So....are you gonna tell me what's up between you two?" Jacob asked raising a brow at him.
Lan sighed pinching his fingers in fright.
He stared at his lap embarrassed.
"Y-you are mistaken" he stuttered.
"Only worry about me okay..." Mark mumbled in his sleep as he wrapped his hand around lan's stomach.
Lan shut his eyes in embarrassment and fear as Jacob chuckled.
"Mark seems to disagree though" He said amused.
"Look Lan so what if you both are in love, it's not a crime, don't worry I won't tell anyone" Jacob assured him, a smile on his lips.
Lan sighed In relief as he stared at his face. His eyes clouded with tears. He wiped his eyes feeling relief flow through his body.
"Please don't tell Nate, he'd flip. He-he is not really in support of 'this' sought of thing you know" Lan said biting his lips.
Jacob nodded in understanding "Look you don't have to worry, whatever you both do is none of my business, so don't worry I won't tell Nate. But just so you know, you both are doing a lame job at hidding it" He chuckled slapping lan on his knee.
Lan smiled in relief.
The driver dropped Jacob at his house while Lan took Mark to his house.
Once they got to his house, the driver helped him pull Mark out.
Mark rested on Lan's shoulder as lan searched his pocket for a key since the house looked dark for his mom to be around.
He opened the door and struggled with Mark as he helped him inside shutting the door with his leg.
He searched for the switch in the dark lighting up the room.
"I feel like throwing up" Mark mumbled opening his eyes. He was about to lean over when lan held him up.
"Oh no you don't! Let's take you to your room first" He sighed taking him up the stairs.
After series of struggle, he took him to the bathroom where he threw up with lan massaging his back.
"Feeling better?" He asked pushing his sweaty hair away from his face.
Mark sighed"Not really but a bit" he replied.
Lan helped him up and took him to bed and laid him down. He took of his shoes and covered him up with the duvet.
"You'll stay right?" Mark asked as he watched him with hooded eyes.
Lan checked the time seeing it was already really late, he decided to stay over.
He laid down beside Mark massaging his sore neck.
Mark pulled him closer wrapping his hand around him.
He kissed his neck muttering under his breathe.
His hand made its way under lan's shirt. Lan's breathe seized as he felt his hand feeling his skin.
