Chapter 53

                     Author's POV

Classes were over. They all stood in front of lan's locker talking. Lan's eyes glanced everywhere searching for Mark. He hasn't seen him today. He called several times but it just always went to voicemail.

"Hey...uh have any of you seen Mark today?" Lan asked worried.

Nate fruwed his brows in thought"No..that's weird he wasn't in class today" he said.

"Where could he be? Did something happen?" Jacob asked glancing at Lan specifically.

Lan gritted his teeth and glared at Damon. This was all his fault. If only he didn't play such a prank on Mark.

"Oh there he is.." Pearl said waving over at Mark who was walking towards them.

Their eyes turned towards him, smiles on their faces but Mark didn't reciprocate. His eyes was fixated on Damon who had a smirk on.

"Is it only me or does he look mad?" Luke whispered in Pearl's ear.

"He sure looks mad" She supported nodding.

Lan bite his lips nervously as Mark walked towards them. He didn't seem to look at him. His entire focus was on Damon making him worried.

What if he snaps at him and Nate finds out about everything?

It didn't take long Mark reached them. His shoulders looked stiff like he was containing himself.

"Hey man is something wrong? You weren't in class today" Nate asked observing him.

Mark didn't reply. His eyes were on Damon who looked amused.

"Yeah..Mark... did something happen?" Damon asked grinning at him.

That was all it took for Mark to snap. He threw a punch at him making him lose balance.

Everyone gasps in shock. The entire hallway became quiet.

The students in the hallway stopped whatever they were doing and watched.

"What the hell Mark! What was that about?" Luke asked shocked.

"None of your business!" Mark glared at him.

"What do you mean by that! You just punched Damon!!" Nate yelled pointing at a bleeding Damon.

Lan looked scared and surprised. He approached Mark "M-mar--"

"You shut up!" Mark pointed at him looking furious.

Lan stopped moving. His eyes widened in shock. Hurt passed through his eyes.

Damon got up and wiped his bleeding mouth. A chuckle escaped his lips.

"What? That's all you got?" Damon chuckled challenging him.

"Damon what are you doing!" Jacob cautioned him.

Mark looked furious and in rage.

He stepped forward ready to throw another punch but Nate held him back.

"Mark stop!" Nate yelled.

"No leave him. Let him come. It hurts huh? That I was in his bed last night. I wonder what happened between us.." Damon grinned.

"Damon what the hell are you trying to do! Provoke him?" Pearl asked angry.

The whole school had gathered in the hallway watching the fight. Some had their phones out videoing.

"I swear...I will kill you!" Mark yelled trying to force his way out of Nate's hold.

Damon walked towards him. Standing in his face.

"Damon come on stop this" Jacob sighed.

"What's going on between you both?" Luke asked confused.

Lan stood by the corner not knowing what to do or say.

"Is that before or after I slept with him huh? Oh right! I forgot he didn't tell you how much he moaned for me and how my hands were all over his body" Damon whispered glancing at a stunned Lan.

Mark stilled in Nate's hold. His eyes turned towards lan who looked like he could drop dead at any point.

"W-what is going on here?" Nate asked loosing his hold from Mark. He looked between lan and Damon and Mark confusion in his eyes.

"Fuck!" Pearl cussed under her breathe.

Jacob getting a clue of what was happening, shut his eyes in frustration.

Luke and Nate were the confused ones.

Mark pulled away from Nate. His eyes never leaving Lan. He walked towards him slowly. His eyes watering.

Lan looked else were trying not to look into his eyes. Guilt ate away in his heart.

Mark stood in front of him watching him.

"W-what is he talking about Lan mh? H-he is lying right? H-he just wants to drive a wedge between us." Mark stared holding his cheeks. His eyes were glassy. Lan's eyes watered. He bite his lips trying to prevent the sobs from coming out.

Everyone watched the scene with held breathes and in shock. Some already knowing what was happening and the others putting the pieces together.

"I am not lying and you know that" Damon said crossing his arms and leaning on the wall opposite.

"Just shut up Damon! Shut up! You have done enough!" Pearl yelled glaring at him.

Damon scoffed and ran his hand through his hair.

"L-lan? Baby look at me and tell me he is lying" Mark begged. His voice cracking up in pain.

Lan sobbed shaking his head.

"Look at me dammit!" Mark yelled and banged the locker behind lan's head. Lan jumped a little and shook his head.

Tears rolled down Mark's eyes. He rested his head on the locker beside lan's head.

"I-i'm s-so s-sorry.. i-it w-was a mistake" Lan stammered. His tears rolled down his cheeks.

He held Mark's head trying to make him face him. Mark pulled away from his roughly. Holding out his hand to tell him not to touch him.

"You refused my touch, just to get his? Since when?" He asked glaring at him.

Lan looked at the floor.

"Since when!" Mark yelled.

"T-that night when I left your house." He replied in a quiet voice. If the whole place wasn't quiet, no one would have heard him.

Mark held his head in surprise. He pulled his hair and laughed out in frustration.

"You have been lying to me since then! You kept it all from me!!"

"I-i wanted to tell you b---"

"But you didn't!!" Mark cut him off.

Angry tears rolled down his face. Lan stared at him pain gnaring at his heart. His cheeks were red and wet.

"Please forgive me Mark...I-I love you" He said walking towards him.

Mark stepped back avoiding him.

"If you loved me you wouldn't have fucked him" He said and walked away.

"Mark!" Lan yelled wanting to run after him. Jacob held his shoulder stopping him.

"He needs to be alone for now." He said.

Lan broke out in sobs. He covered his face crying. Pearl held him rubbing his shoulders.

"It will all be fine. Shh..." She comforted him.

"You all know about this?" Nate asked looking at all of them incredulously.

"I-I didn't" Luke raised him hand.

"You fucking knew my brother was sucking a man's dick!!!" Nate yelled.

"Enough Nate! Please not here and definitely not now" Jacob said.

Nate laughed and walked off.

"And what the hell are you all looking at? Scram!!" Luke yelled. Everyone watching ran out. Some giggling, whispering and snickering and others throwing insults.

"Where is Damon?" Jacob asked looking at were he stood before. No one noticed when he left.

"Who cares! If I see him he is dead for doing this to lan!" Pearl gritted out.

"Take him home" Luke said.

Pearl nodded.

"I will go look for Mark" Jacob said walking off.

Pearl held Lan close and took him out.

Luke sighed. The drama still playing in his head.
