Everyone was jaw slacked when several breakfast special baskets from an infamous diner were delivered to the bake shop an hour after Pete's call to Lina.
"Wow!" Kevin gaped in awe at the sight of so many food baskets.
"Aunt Lina, did you order all these?" He asked in stupefaction. His eyes widened as the baskets were arrayed across the counter. He unashamedly salivated and swallowed at the tasty aroma that wafted through the store.
"So much food," He drooled, hastily reaching to unwrap one of the baskets, but his mother smacked his hand off.
"Take your hands off." She warned with a mild glare, her eyes trailing across the baskets arranged in a row.
She was equally as surprised as her son, as well as everyone else in the room.
Lina was also astounded as she dumbfoundedly gazed at what was supposed to be just breakfast but had turned into a feast large enough to feed a small army.
What was this? Was he crazy?
