"I Love You"

Pete liked the sound of that. The idea of living each day as they came and bearing no fears of what might never happen sounded right to him.

Words couldn't describe how happy he was to hear that. He was happier than he had ever been, even more than he had been when he sealed his first deal at the age of seventeen.

Elated, he leaned in and kissed her on the cheek. "Let me make it up to you," he said. "Dinner at my place on Friday." He pelted her cheek again with a quick kiss, but dinner at his place had her interest more piqued than his kisses.

"Like a date?" She asked and Pete nodded.

"Yes." He answered, a smile touching his lips at the excitement quickly forming in her eyes.

"When?" She inquired with excitement.
