Going Back to The 3,000 Worlds

"No, don't go yet!" Yang Kai said urgently, gripping Kate's arm to stop her.

"Why?" Kate murmured, her voice quiet but curious.

"If you're cursed by the heavens and go to a lower universe world, your current cultivation will surpass the world's threshold," Yang Kai explained, his tone serious. "In the eyes of the heavens, it might seem like you've reached your peak, drawing even more attention to you."

Kate scoffed lightly, her gaze distant. "I think the heavens aren't that stupid," she murmured.

Yang Kai's grip tightened. "Just wait a second. How about bringing Yan'er with you?"

Kate shook her head, a small, mischievous smirk tugging at her lips. "Nope. Too late."

Before Yang Kai could respond, the surroundings began to fracture like broken glass, shards of light falling around them.

"Release me now!" Kate exclaimed, trying to pull free of Yang Kai's hold.

But before she could, a sudden, overwhelming force dragged them both downward, their bodies spiraling uncontrollably toward the ground.

Before they could fall into the abyss, the surroundings cracked and shattered, sending both plummeting to the ground below.

"My Universal Travel failed?" Kate said, her tone laced with surprise.

"Maybe because I'm with you?" Yang Kai suggested as he stood, offering a hand to help Kate up. "Can you walk?"

Kate waved him off weakly. "Let me lie here for a bit. My techniques are being locked away from my soul."

"What?" Yang Kai exclaimed, his eyes wide in alarm. "Shouldn't that be... painfully unbearable?" he thought to himself, watching her closely. But to his amazement, Kate remained composed, showing no visible signs of agony.

"She's holding it together without a single hint of pain," Yang Kai thought, his concern growing. After a moment, he noticed she hadn't moved. "Wait... is she asleep?"

Before he could check, violet blood began to seep from Kate's closed eyes.

"Kate!" Yang Kai yelled, rushing to her side. He gently propped her up, his voice filled with urgency. "Kate, are you okay?"

Kate coughed violently, spitting blood. "Fk! Having my abilities severed from my soul hurts so fuing much!" she thought, her frustration and pain evident.

She clenched her fists, trying to regain control. "Slow down, me. You're slipping out of your ideal self," she muttered under her breath, her tone self-critical.

Yang Kai froze, startled. "Kate, you're saying your thoughts out loud."

"What?" Kate gasped, covering her mouth as another bout of coughing overtook her.

Yang Kai exhaled, his concern deepening. "It's good you're protected by the Soul Warming Lotus," he said, trying to reassure her.

Kate turned her gaze away, her voice soft. "About that... I no longer have the Soul Warming Lotus."

Yang Kai's expression darkened in shock. "What?!" he shouted. "Then you should take mine!" Without hesitation, he tried to summon his Soul Warming Lotus, but Kate stopped him, placing a firm hand on his.

"Don't worry," Kate said, her lips curling into a faint smile. "I still have its effects... I just fused it with something else."

But suddenly, Kate remembered something. "D-Do you have extra clothes?" she asked.

"Clothes? Why?" Yang Kai replied, confused.

"My current clothes are part of my technique, so I'm going to lose them any second now," Kate said, her cheeks reddening.

"R-Right!" Yang Kai exclaimed as he quickly pulled out a set of clothing from his Small Universe.

"These are my sister's clothes," Kate said, examining them skeptically.

"There are other clothes here, but they're of lower quality," Yang Kai explained.

"Give me something different!" Kate demanded.

Not long after, Kate emerged wearing a beautiful violet ruqun hanfu with intricate flower designs and gold ornaments.

"Hmm, that suits you well," Yang Kai remarked before adding, "Aren't those sleeves going to interfere when you fight?"

"All my otherworldly abilities have been sealed. How am I going to fight!?" Kate exclaimed in frustration.

"Losing those abilities doesn't make you weak!" Yang Kai shouted back. "As a Seventh Rank Open Heaven Cultivator, you're losing sight of the path your cultivation offers!"

Kate stared at him, startled by his sudden outburst.

"Sure, those otherworldly abilities made you invincible against others in the same realm, but don't forget your own cultivation! The power system of this universe isn't just for show!" Yang Kai continued, his voice firm. "Here, you have the potential to break through to the Ninth Rank Open Heaven Realm!"

His words caught Kate off guard, leaving her momentarily speechless.

"You're right. I'm sorry," Kate said softly, looking down.

Her response surprised Yang Kai. "What? Shouldn't you fight back?" he asked, puzzled.

"He's right," Kate thought to herself. "I completely ignored this universe's power system and got too focused on the Gate of Babylon. Maybe this is the time to get serious about progressing my Dao in the Martial Peak Universe!"

Yang Kai observed her silently. "Looks like she realized something," he thought to himself.

"If you're ready, let's return," Yang Kai said after a moment.

"Hmm," Kate murmured in agreement as the two flew back toward the Yin Yang Pass.

After some time, the two arrived at Yang Kai's temporary residence, where Su Yan rushed toward Kate.

"It's good that you're all right!" Su Yan exclaimed, relief evident in her voice.

"Hmm, I'm okay now. I'm sorry for making you worry," Kate replied.

"No, it's okay as long as you're safe," Su Yan said warmly. "What happened in there?"

Kate hesitated for a moment before turning to Yang Kai. "Right. Since this is important information, can we enter your Small Universe to talk this out?" she asked.

"All right," Yang Kai said, nodding as he opened his Small Universe. The two stepped inside to discuss in private.

Inside Kate's residence within Yang Kai's Small Universe, Su Yan broke the silence.

"So, what are we going to talk about?" Su Yan asked.

Kate hesitated briefly before speaking. "Sister Su, actually, I lied-"

Before she could finish, a sharp flick landed on her forehead. "I knew it! Little girl, you dare trick us?" Yu Ru Meng said, stepping into the room. Behind her, other figures emerged, walking out of Su Yan's Small Universe.

"Huh? Did your Small Universe already solidify?" Kate asked, surprised.

Yu Ru Meng raised an eyebrow. "Don't act surprised we're here, little girl. And don't change the subject! What's your real purpose?"

Su Yan added with a sigh, "Since I'm the one who will bring all the treasures, and after searching far and wide, we've found multiple treasures. So, will you tell us what's really going on, or not?"

Kate straightened herself, taking a deep breath. "Actually, I came from another 3,000 Universe World. How do I explain this... This universe is like a single leaf on an enormous tree. A tree so massive, you wouldn't be able to circle around its trunk even if you flew at full power for ten years. Its crown is so vast it encompasses all the 3,000 Universe Worlds."

The room fell silent as Kate continued.

"I came from one of those universe leaves. Those who can traverse between universe leaves are granted heaven-defying prowess, like my copying ability. My ability is currently cursed, so it's weakened. But my given ability the one that defies the heavens is the power to traverse the universe leaves effortlessly. Normally, one can only traverse once, but I can do so freely. That's what makes my ability so heaven-defying," Kate explained.

Yu Ru Meng crossed her arms, unimpressed. "You already tricked us once. How can we believe you this time?"

Meanwhile, Yang Kai stood to the side, confusion written all over his face. "Huh? What's going on?" he muttered to himself.

Kate's eyes burned with determination. "I'll make an oath to my Source," she declared firmly.

"I, Kate Apocalypse, swear on my Source that everything I say concerning my explanation will be the truth and nothing but the truth," Kate declared firmly.

In response, her violet Source materialized before her, glowing with a brilliant light. However, it was bound tightly by multiple red chains that stretched in four directions, anchoring it in place.

"There," Kate said, her tone resolute. "If I lie, my Source will be torn apart, and I'll die." She looked around at the others, her eyes full of seriousness. "I really came from another universe leaf."

The room grew quiet as her words sank in.

"Uhmm, I also know everything that will happen here because… I read about it somewhere," Kate admitted, glancing nervously at their expressions. "See? I'm still fine. That means I didn't lie to you all."

Yu Ru Meng was the first to break the silence. "Then tell us what is your purpose?" she demanded.

"My purpose?" Kate asked, puzzled.

"What? Don't tell us you don't have one?" Yu Ru Meng said, her voice laced with suspicion.

"It's... quite complicated," Kate replied, scratching her head.

Yu Ru Meng frowned. "Hmm. You're still full of mysteries." She stepped closer. "So, what are you really doing here?"

Kate sighed and finally confessed, "I came here with the simple plan of living peacefully, but certain factors brought me to this point... and made me meet this troublesome bastard." She turned, fixing Yang Kai with a pointed stare.

Yang Kai blinked, taken aback. "Me?!"

"I already know your whole story," Kate confessed, her voice tinged with guilt. "Blinded by my greed, I wanted to get stronger, so I kept coming to you. I copied your treasures and even sought out treasures I knew existed somewhere here."

"I see," Yang Kai said, his expression calm yet thoughtful. "So that's why you know so much about me."

"Yes," Kate replied, nodding. "And that's also why I know all of your wives."

"Then what about the tenth wife?" Zhu Qing suddenly asked, her curiosity piqued.

"There is no tenth wife," Kate clarified. "There are only nine."

The group exchanged surprised glances before Zhu Qing spoke again. "Since you've been able to watch Husband's story in your world, then tell us what will happen with the Ink Clan?"

"Of course, I can't tell you that," Kate said firmly. "But I will say this you all must grow stronger before Yang Kai parts with his Small Universe."

Her words sent shockwaves through the room.

"Parting with one's Small Universe?" everyone said in unison, the weight of the statement heavy in their voices.

"Doesn't that mean..." They hesitated, dread settling in their hearts. "He's going to die?"

"The only thing you can do now is get stronger," Kate said, her tone steady.

Yang Kai quickly intervened to reassure them. "Don't worry, Madams. I won't die that easily."

Kate turned to the group. "Are you satisfied now?"

Su Yan stepped forward, her expression soft. "Then what are your plans now?"

"There's nothing I can do but fight with my current powers," Kate admitted.

"I see. But don't you have some kind of long-term plan?" Yu Ru Meng pressed.

"I don't," Kate replied honestly. "I just go with the flow."

"In that case, take things at your own pace," Su Yan said, her voice warm.

Kate lowered her head in apology. "I'm really sorry that I lied to you all."

"It's okay this time," Yu Ru Meng said, her tone stern but forgiving. "But don't do it again."

"I'll keep that in mind," Kate promised.

In the middle of the night, Kate sat with the others, her expression serious. "And that is what happened," she said, finishing her explanation.

"I see, so you've been cursed," Yu Ru Meng said thoughtfully, a Gate of Babylon opening above her hand. "But it seems we can still use our given abilities."

"Then all is good if that's the case," Kate said with a small smile.

"Since you've been weakened, doesn't that mean this is our chance to beat you up?" Zhu Qing teased, a sly grin spreading across her face.

"D-Don't be so shameless, haha," Kate replied awkwardly, shifting in her seat.

"But once you get your powers back, doesn't that mean you'll be almost invincible again?" Xue Yue asked, raising an eyebrow.

Yu Ru Meng interrupted, her tone decisive. "Since we're already here, let's give her the treasures we've found."

"Really? I thought you only found two minor pillars," Kate said, surprised.

"We've already found everything," Yu Ru Meng revealed. "We sent out the full force of the Void Land and Star Boundary."

"So that's why, in just five years, you've already combed through the 3000 Worlds," Kate murmured in awe.

"But we only announced that we found two minor universe pillars," Yu Ru Meng added with a knowing smile.

"I see," Kate replied, nodding. "Do you already have all twelve minor universe pillars?"

"Yes," Yu Ru Meng confirmed. "The twelve minor universe pillars can be shared, but the four universe pillars can't. We can only give two to you."

"I've already given the twelve minor universe pillars to Husband, so everything in this ring is yours now," Yu Ru Meng said, handing Kate a space ring.

"Thanks," Kate said as she took the ring. Holding it in her palm, she closed her eyes. A faint glow surrounded the ring, and an illusory copy began forming in her other hand. Moments later, the copy materialized, identical to the original.

"There," Kate said, handing the original ring back to Yu Ru Meng.

"This ability is truly magical," Yu Ru Meng remarked, her eyes filled with wonder.

"Doesn't this mean you already have all four universe pillars and all twelve minor universe pillars now?" Yang Kai asked, a mix of curiosity and amazement in his voice.

"Of course," Kate said confidently.

"I want to see what the effects will be," Yang Kai said.

"Husband's right, I want to see it too," Zhu Qing chimed in, with the others nodding in agreement.

"Then, everyone, please step inside," Kate said as she opened her Small Universe.

Inside Kate's Small Universe, the group stood in awe.

"This is Junior Sister's Small Universe?" Yu Ru Meng said, her voice filled with amazement. "The Dao here is so dense."

"The World Force is incredibly profound. How did you cultivate this?" Yang Kai asked, intrigued.

"Secret," Kate replied with a sly smile.

"Hmm? What is this?" Su Yan asked, her gaze fixed on a massive lake with a colossal tree standing proudly in its center.

"That is the Celestial Emberlake, the profound treasure of the Pharygon Race," Kate explained.

"So it's on the same level as the Dragon's Dragon Pond and the Phoenix's Prasol Tree?" Su Yan asked.

"Yes. This one allows me to cultivate the Blood Talent of my race," Kate replied.

"Since the Dragons possess the Time Dao as their Blood Talent and the Phoenixes have Void, what is your Blood Talent?" Yu Ru Meng asked, curious.

"My Blood Talent is the Creation and Destruction Dao," Kate said nonchalantly.

"WHAT?!" Everyone exclaimed in unison.

"I haven't explored these two Daos deeply yet, so I'd appreciate it if you didn't ask questions about them," Kate said, brushing off their shock.

"Since that's what you want, we'll leave it at that," Yu Ru Meng replied with a nod.

"Since Husband follows four Daos, what about you, Junior Sister?" Ji Yao asked.

"I follow the Time, Space, Creation, Destruction, and Sword Daos. My Dao Elements are Fire, Ice, and Darkness. I have absolute authority over Fire and Darkness, so those two elements don't affect me," Kate explained.

"You're that strong?" Ji Yao said, clearly surprised.

"It's not surprising," Yu Ru Meng interjected. "If you can travel through Universe Leaves, of course, you'd have treasures and techniques from those other leaves."

"Senior Sister is right," Kate said. "I have the inheritance of the Heretic God, granting me the power of the Heretic God and his Profound Seeds."

"The Heretic God?" Ji Yao asked, intrigued.

"I have the Fire and Darkness Seeds. I already possess two of the six Heretic God's Seeds," Kate explained.

"Did it come from a literal god or is it just a title?" Ji Yao asked thoughtfully.

"It should be a literal god," Kate replied, deep in thought.

"Enough of this overpowered talk," Yu Ru Meng said, rolling her eyes. "We've been walking for quite a while now."

"Isn't that the World Spring?" Su Yan said, pointing ahead.

"Oh? Did we reach our destination?" Yu Ru Meng said as the Profound Fish leapt gracefully out of the World Spring.

"So that is the Profound Fish," Xia Ning Chang said, her voice filled with wonder.

"Let's go rest there," Shan Qing Luo suggested, gesturing toward a nearby gazebo.

After some time, the group sat in the serene gazebo.

"This place is a hundred times better than the outside world," Su Yan said, her tone filled with admiration.

"Of course! This world is my third greatest creation!" Kate replied proudly.

"Only third?" Yang Kai asked, raising an eyebrow.

"The second is my Void Archive, and the first one is a secret," Kate said teasingly.

"Void Archive?" Su Yan asked, her curiosity piqued. "Is that the Golden Cube artifact?"

"Indeed," Kate confirmed. "Its original capability was to copy the world it's in. But I was cursed by someone, and now I can only copy things once if I have them or am close to them and it comes at the cost of my lifespan."

"I see," Su Yan said thoughtfully. "But since it's an archive, can we enter it?"

"You're not usually one to pry into someone else's secrets, so why the sudden curiosity?" Kate teased. "But actually, this gazebo is the Void Archive."

Everyone looked around, surprised.

"Don't resist; I'll let you in," Kate said with a mischievous grin.

Before anyone could respond, a blinding light engulfed the group. When the light faded, Yang Kai was the only one left in the gazebo.

"Huh? You dare leave me here!" Yang Kai shouted, his voice echoing into the emptiness.

"Those girls really left me here," Yang Kai muttered to himself, shaking his head. "Since that's the case, and I have a lot of free time, I might as well take a dip in the World Spring." With a sigh, he headed towards the serene and inviting waters of the World Spring.

Meanwhile, inside the Void Archive, the group marveled at their surroundings. Towering bookshelves stretched endlessly, filled with countless volumes.

"The sheer size of this place is overwhelming," Xue Yue remarked, her eyes scanning the vast collection.

"This is the largest archive I've ever seen," Qu Hua Chang added, clearly impressed.

"Every single book here now has exactly 200 pages," Kate explained proudly. "Each book contains an item on the front page and detailed information about it on the back."

"The Gate of Babylon is also here," Kate continued, gesturing to a prominent section.

"Doesn't that mean you really have an endless arsenal of weapons?" Yu Ru Meng asked, her expression a mix of awe and disbelief.

"Yes, that's right," Kate replied with a satisfied nod.

As they explored further, Ji Yao paused by a particular shelf, her attention drawn to one of the books. "I found Niflheim," she announced.

"What does it say?" Xue Yue asked, stepping closer.

Ji Yao flipped through the pages, her voice tinged with amazement. "I can't believe it Niflheim is the manifestation of the Underworld's cold world. It's tied to the mythological plane of eternal frost."

Kate clapped her hands lightly, drawing their attention. "Let's head back now. I bet Yang Kai is going to be angry if we keep him waiting too long."

"Right!" everyone replied in unison, already imagining Yang Kai's reaction.

After some time inside Kate's Small Universe, Shan Qing Luo glanced around. "Where's Husband?" she asked, just as they heard the sound of a splash.

"Looks like he's bathing in the World Spring," Kate replied casually.

"Then I shall join him," Shan Qing Luo said with a smirk, heading toward the World Spring.

"W- Wait!" Zhu Qing exclaimed, quickly following after her.

"Come on, let's follow them!" Qu Hua Chang urged as she grabbed Tao Ling Wan by the hand.

"Since they're going at it, let's join too!" Ji Yao added, dragging Xue Yue along with her.

"What about you, Sister Xia?" Xue Yue called out.

"Goodbye, Sisters," Xia Ning Chang replied, laughing softly as she ran after the group.

Yu Ru Meng turned to Su Yan. "Aren't you going to join them, Yan'er?"

Su Yan shook her head. "No, I'll stay here with Junior Sister Kate."

"I see. Since we both have the same plan, let's take this time to deepen our relationship," Yu Ru Meng said, her gaze lingering on Kate.

Kate raised a brow. "Is there a flower on my face?"

Yu Ru Meng chuckled. "No, it's just that in the Yang Household, you're the most famous the strongest wife, the most beautiful one, even though beauty is subjective. Most people favor you. And, of course, you're also the most mysterious."

"I- I see. I'm honored," Kate replied, slightly flustered.

"When I first joined the household, I was immediately fed a strange pink orb and told it was tradition," Yu Ru Meng recalled, smiling wryly. "Well, thanks to that, I now have artifacts I can rely on, so I'm not mad about it."

"Yes, that's right. Why get mad when it was a fair exchange?" Kate said with a shrug.

"I bet you don't even remember the first time we met," Yu Ru Meng said, narrowing her eyes.

"What is Sister's point?" Kate asked, her expression turning serious.

"Nothing. I'm just curious curious enough to want a fight with you," Yu Ru Meng said, her tone challenging.

"I don't want to fight you," Kate replied. "If you don't count me, you are the strongest among us. But in reality, once everyone hits their peak, you might become the weakest. I also don't like the way you talk to me. You talk like you're really my big sister," Kate said sharply.

"Since you already know the truth based on my cultivation, shouldn't you be calling me Big Sister instead?" Kate said

"Calm down, you two," Su Yan interjected firmly. "Stop this pointless fight. Husband might get angry. And don't forget, we're in her Small Universe."

Yu Ru Meng folded her arms, her expression still tense. "I want to know if you still plan to be the tenth wife," she said, a hint of irritation in her voice. "Don't forget about your bet."

Kate's lips curled into a smirk. "You don't have to worry about that. It's still valid. I'm just confident I won't be defeated."

"You're already known as the Tenth Madam in Void Land and the Star Boundary. Why don't you just join us now?" Yu Ru Meng pressed.

Kate's tone turned firm. "And don't forget, I still don't love him. I don't see the point in marrying someone I don't love."

"Sister Kate is right. We can't force her," Su Yan said calmly.

"It all depends on that bastard's capabilities," Yu Ru Meng muttered.

Kate softened her tone. "Don't rush. Since I know his story, of course, I also know yours. Like how pressured you are, Sister Yu, since you're the oldest and feel responsible for keeping everyone safe."

Yu Ru Meng's eyes widened slightly. "Is that true?" Su Yan asked, looking at her.

"Of course. I don't want to disappoint Husband. If any of you got hurt, I swear I'd lose it," Yu Ru Meng admitted, her voice heavy with emotion.

"I see," Su Yan replied gently.

"Since we're already here," Kate said, changing the topic, "let's set up the Starry Night Sea and Full Sky Clouds."

"Right," Su Yan agreed with a nod.

After some time, Yu Ru Meng gazed at the breathtaking view and sighed. "Having the Universe Four Pillars together... I never thought I'd witness this in my lifetime."

"Indeed," Su Yan agreed. "Having even one is already considered heaven-defying luck. But having all four, and the Minor Pillars as well..."

Kate smiled faintly. "This is a sight that no one else will ever see—except those I allow."

"What should we do about the remaining two Pillars?" Yu Ru Meng asked.

"Divide them between the two of you," Kate said casually.

"Huh?" the two exclaimed in unison.

"We can't possibly accept that," Su Yan said, shaking her head.

Kate's expression turned serious. "About twenty years from now, the Ink Clan will make their way into the 3000 Worlds. The Human Race will fail."

Su Yan and Yu Ru Meng froze, their eyes widening.

"No matter how strong one is," Kate continued, "one cannot change karmic fate. That's why I advise you to take the remaining two Pillars. Don't speak of this to anyone. Sister Su, as the First Official Wife, and Sister Yu, as the Leader, you two must work together to protect everyone. With the strength of the Pillars, you'll stand a chance."

Yu Ru Meng let out a bitter laugh. "Why am I not surprised by this revelation?"

"Then there's no choice," Su Yan said firmly. "We'll need to grow even stronger."

"I want to ask," Yu Ru Meng said, "does everyone know about the Universe Four Pillars being in your possession?"

"Of course, those fools know," Kate replied with a smirk.

"And they didn't demand you share them?" Su Yan asked.

"Of course they did," Kate said, her tone sharp. "But I rejected them outright. No one can take my treasures. If they try, I'll join the Ink Clan just to pester them to death."

The two women burst into laughter, but Kate's face remained serious.

"I'm not joking," Kate said. "I'm not a native of this world. No one can tie me here. So what can they do but accept it?"

"You're right," Yu Ru Meng said. "Since you can simply leave for another world, it's not like they have much of a choice."

"Exactly. Plus, I already know what's going to happen. All I can do is plan around it," Kate said, her tone distant.

"So, what's your plan?" Su Yan asked, concern flickering in her eyes.

Kate turned away. "I'll hide in your Small Universe to escape from here. This place is too dull for me. I want to explore elsewhere."

Su Yan looked shocked. "You want to leave? Why?"

"I just want to," Kate said nonchalantly. "This world bores me. And don't tell anyone where I've gone."

"If that's your wish..." Su Yan said reluctantly.

Kate smiled faintly. "Good. Now, you two should go back. I still have something to take care of." With that, she soared into the sky and disappeared.

"I wonder what she's planning," Yu Ru Meng murmured.

"Looks like the 3000 Worlds will be eventful this time," Su Yan said.

"By the way, did you know Kate has an evil technique?" Su Yan suddenly added.

Yu Ru Meng's brows furrowed. "What kind of evil technique?"

"I don't know. She just mentioned it in passing," Su Yan replied.

"Enough about her," Yu Ru Meng said, shaking her head. "Let's join the others. It's my first time experiencing the Universe Four Pillars in action."

With that, Yu Ru Meng took to the skies, and Su Yan quickly followed.

A few days later, the group emerged from Kate's Small Universe, with Yang Kai being the last to step out.

"Huh? Where's Kate?" Yang Kai asked, glancing around.

"Junior Sister Kate said she's staying behind to copy the treasures collected by the Old Ancestors," Su Yan explained.

"I see," Yang Kai said, nodding thoughtfully. "So, when are you coming back?"

"Tomorrow," Su Yan replied softly. "I'll return home tomorrow."

Yang Kai smiled and, without another word, lifted Su Yan into his arms. "Since that's the case, let's go cultivate again."

Su Yan blushed but didn't resist as Yang Kai carried her into his temporary residence.

The next day, Su Yan stood before Yang Kai.

"Then I shall go. You must take care of yourself... and make Junior Sister Kate fall for you quickly!" Su Yan teased with a gentle smile.

"Don't worry, I'll take care of it," Yang Kai replied confidently.

"Then I'll leave now," Su Yan said as she took off, her figure gracefully disappearing into the horizon.

Some time later, Su Yan landed in front of the Super Teleportation Array. She noticed Kate walking toward her.

"Let's go," Kate said simply before vanishing in an instant.

"Junior Sister Kate really succeeded in anchoring my Small Universe to hers," Su Yan thought, a hint of awe in her expression.

Here's the refined version:

In the middle of her train of thought, an idea struck Kate like a bolt of lightning.

"Wait, now that my Source is a new one, doesn't that mean I can copy it?" she wondered, excitement sparking in her mind.

Without hesitation, she materialized her Source in front of her, its radiant energy illuminating the icy expanse. Slowly, she began the intricate process of copying it.

"Just a little more," Kate urged herself, her focus unwavering. A sharp, unfamiliar sensation coursed through her.

"Ugh," she murmured, grimacing slightly. "So this is what it feels like to be copied?"

After what felt like an eternity, Kate finally succeeded. A second Source shimmered into existence, an exact replica of her original.

"Now that I have another, what should I do with it?" she pondered aloud, her mind racing. Suddenly, inspiration struck.

"What if I fuse this with my sword, Twilight? That would elevate it into a Spirit Artifact!" she exclaimed, her eyes gleaming with determination.

Without wasting another moment, Kate began the delicate and profound process of fusing her new Source with her treasured sword, Twilight.

After two years, Kate opened her eyes, gazing upon the transformed Twilight. Its blade now glowed with a vibrant violet hue, accented by striking red edges.

"I finally finished it!" Kate exclaimed, her voice brimming with excitement. She admired the weapon for a moment before gently placing it in her space ring.

"Rest for now," she thought to herself as she stood up and closed her eyes to sense her surroundings.

"Sister Su, where are we?" Kate murmured telepathically.

"We've left the Ink Battlefield and are nearing Void Land," Su Yan replied.

"Then, please let me out," Kate responded as a shimmering portal materialized before her. She stepped through with graceful ease.

Outside Su Yan's Small Universe

"What are you planning to do next, Junior Sister?" Su Yan asked.

"I'll be going my own way from here," Kate replied. "When Yang Kai is ready, he just needs to leave a letter at the peak I stayed on back at High Heaven Palace."

Before Su Yan could respond, Kate suddenly disappeared.

"Space Principles?" Su Yan muttered, sensing the faint ripples left in Kate's wake. She reached out instinctively, trying to grasp the dissipating traces of Space Principles.

"I wonder when we'll meet again," Su Yan thought wistfully, her gaze fixed on the spot where Kate had vanished.

In a Universe World closest to the Star Boundary, Kate stood amidst unfamiliar surroundings, her eyes scanning the horizon.

"I wonder where I am," she murmured, taking in the alien yet majestic landscape.

Her expression hardened as she reflected on her limitations. "My curse prevents me from using my full power," she thought to herself, "but that doesn't forbid me from converting others' techniques into my own." A sly smile played across her lips.

"I don't believe an old hag like me can't deduce the techniques of these weak kids," Kate muttered under her breath. She wandered until she found a secluded, quiet spot, perfect for her plans.

"First, I should deduce the Isolation of One's Heart to conceal myself completely," she thought. "Then, I'll work on mastering the Finger of Flowery Sword. Since I've read about them before, they should exist in the Void Archives."

Closing her eyes, Kate prepared to delve into her mind. "I'll hop in there, find the details, and perfect these techniques," she resolved, her focus unwavering.

After ten grueling years of trial and error, Kate emerged from a dim cave, her expression a mix of relief and pride.

"I finally succeeded in replicating the Isolation of One's Heart technique," she thought, exhaling deeply. "But there are far too many cons to using this technique it's dangerous to rely on it too heavily."

Despite her reservations, a small smile tugged at her lips. "Still, I've completely bypassed the Primordial Spirits I should be able to use it again, so it should be safe enough."

As she stepped into the sunlight, her appearance began to shift. Her eyes, once red and icy blue, now gleamed with a vivid violet hue, accentuated by cat-like pupils. Her pure white hair, tinged with starry specks at the ends, had turned jet black, streaked with strands of violet.

"This is good enough," she mused, glancing at her reflection in a nearby pool of water. "Even my aura has completely transformed."

The realization struck her like a tidal wave, and her smile widened. "And the best thing is I've broken through to the Eighth Rank Open Heaven Realm!"

Her mind raced with excitement. "It happened while I was comprehending the Primordial Abyss Manifestation. What a stroke of fortune!"

Suddenly, Kate felt a strange reaction from within her space ring. Her brow furrowed. "Twilight?" she thought, quickly reaching for her sword.

However, as she withdrew it, her eyes widened in shock. The once vibrant and majestic sword had transformed into an unassuming, featureless orb.

"Wha—WHAT THE HELL?!" Kate shouted, her voice echoing through the empty wilderness.

"What is this?" Kate murmured, her voice tinged with confusion as she held the orb in her hands. Her eyes narrowed. "Is… is this an egg?"

Her heart began to race, her expression shifting from confusion to growing unease. "W-what's going on?" she thought, gripping the egg tighter. "Since this is connected to my Source… could this be another me?"

Her gaze lingered on the smooth, fragile surface, her mind racing with questions. "Another me? A sister? Or… something else?" Anxiety began to creep into her thoughts as she continued to stare at the egg, uncertain of what lay within.

Suddenly, without warning, cracks began to spread across the egg's surface.

"W-wait! I'm not ready yet!" Kate exclaimed, panicking as the egg burst apart in a flash of blinding light. Shielding her eyes, she stumbled back, disoriented.

As the light began to fade, Kate lowered her arms, only to feel something clutching at her legs. Looking down, she was met with the sight of a small child, no older than three, hugging her tightly.

"Wha-what the… A child?!" Kate stammered, her voice caught between shock and disbelief.

The child looked up at her with wide, bright red eyes shaped like a cat's, a stark contrast to her pure white hair that shimmered like freshly fallen snow.

"M-Mama!" the child chirped happily, her voice innocent and sweet.

Kate froze, staring at the little girl in disbelief. Her mind reeled. "Bright red cat eyes… hair as pure as snow… This... Is this thing me?!"

Flabbergasted, Kate could only stand there, the weight of the revelation pressing heavily on her as the child clung to her legs with an unwavering smile.

"Mama?" the child said, tilting her head curiously.

Kate staggered back, retreating a few steps. Her expression was a mix of disbelief and panic. "No way," she thought, shaking her head vigorously. "This… this thing is calling me Mama?! I can't allow this. I haven't even experienced the Fusion of Yin and Yang!"

The child, undeterred, crawled toward her with a gleeful expression. "Mama, Mama, Mama!" she repeated, her voice brimming with excitement.

Kate raised her hand instinctively, her aura flaring. "Twilight!" she called out, expecting the child to transform back into the sword.

But nothing happened.

"Wha- what's going on?" Kate muttered to herself, glancing at her hand in confusion.

Her thoughts were interrupted by a sudden cry. The child's wailing pierced through the silence, and Kate froze, her heart skipping a beat. Realizing that her retreat had caused the child to cry, she moved toward the little one almost instinctively.

"Shh, don't cry, okay? Monsters might hear you and come looking for trouble," Kate whispered, crouching down and gently patting the child on the head. Her voice trembled, betraying her inner turmoil.

She glanced around anxiously, her thoughts racing. "What should I do? It's dangerous here."

Looking at the child, Kate sighed and made a quick decision. Opening her Small Universe, she gently lifted the child and placed her inside.

"Take care of her for me," Kate commanded, addressing the researchers within her Small Universe. Without waiting for a response, she closed the portal and stood alone once more.

Turning her gaze toward the distant horizon, she spotted a city nestled in the vast expanse.

"I'd better find an inn," Kate thought as she took to the skies, her figure vanishing into the distance.

Here's the polished version of your scene:

In a small, bustling town, Kate landed gracefully, her arrival drawing the attention of passersby. Whispers filled the air as curious eyes turned to her, but Kate ignored the stares and walked straight toward the local inn.

Upon entering, the innkeeper hurried forward, his expression equal parts nervous and respectful. "S-Senior, I'm not sure if our humble inn can accommodate someone of your status," he stammered.

Kate glanced at him briefly, her senses picking up his cultivation level. "Hmm? An Emperor Realm?" she thought. Without a word, she took out an Open Heaven Pill and placed it on the counter.

"I'll be staying here for about a week," Kate said calmly.

The innkeeper's eyes widened in shock. "A-AN OPEN HEAVEN PILL!" he exclaimed, his voice trembling.

Kate arched a brow. "Should I pay with Origin Crystals instead?"

"N-No, Senior! This is more than enough. Please, let me show you to our finest room," the innkeeper said, bowing repeatedly as he led her upstairs.

"Thanks," Kate replied curtly before entering the room.

Once inside, she closed the door and exhaled softly. The modest room was clean and well-kept, a stark contrast to the luxurious accommodations she had been accustomed to in the past.

"For now, let's cultivate," Kate murmured to herself. "Since I just broke through, I need to stabilize my cultivation." Sitting cross-legged on the bed, she closed her eyes, focusing her energy.

Meanwhile, far away in a secluded mountain range, a group of cultivators was gathered around a campfire.

"Young Master, tomorrow we'll arrive at Hulu Town," one of the followers reported respectfully.

Another follower, a burly man with a curious glint in his eyes, spoke up. "Young Master, if I may ask, what's our goal in Hulu Town?"

The Young Master smirked arrogantly, his expression brimming with confidence. "To claim my wife, of course."

"Your wife?" one of the men echoed, surprised.

"I've heard the Princess of the Vibrant Chaotic Palace possesses the Chaotic Body Constitution," another follower chimed in, his voice tinged with greed. "That's an excellent physique for a furnace!"

The Young Master chuckled, a glint of ambition in his eyes. "Exactly. The Vibrant Chaotic Palace and our Phoenix Emphyrium Sect share a strong bond of friendship. Using that as leverage, I'll make her mine. With her Chaotic Body, my cultivation will soar to unimaginable heights."

The group erupted in laughter, their voices echoing ominously through the night as their plans began to unfold.

The next day, Kate opened her eyes, feeling refreshed. "Looks like this is good enough," she thought. Rising from her seat, she stretched briefly before deciding on her next step. "Let's investigate outside first."

Stepping out of the inn, Kate glanced around the lively streets of Hulu Town. The chatter of merchants and townsfolk filled the air.

Nearby, a group of cultivators caught sight of her. "Young Master, look at that person," one of the followers whispered, pointing toward Kate.

"An Open Heaven Realm Master?" the Young Master exclaimed, his eyes narrowing. "Since when did such a powerful master arrive in Hulu Town?"

Kate ignored the murmurs, scanning her surroundings. Her gaze briefly lingered on the group, assessing their cultivation. "A Low Rank Open Heaven Realm?" she thought, unimpressed.

Suddenly, a strange sensation washed over her a faint resonance tugging at her senses. Kate's expression darkened. "What is this feeling?" she muttered before taking to the skies, flying toward the source.

It wasn't long before she came upon a procession. Below her, a majestic sedan chair was being carried by a group of guards, their uniforms adorned with intricate symbols.

Landing gracefully, she observed the scene. "A wedding proposal?" Kate muttered, noting the celebratory decorations and the cautious looks the guards cast in her direction.

As she descended, the entire procession came to an abrupt halt. "AN EIGHT-RANK OPEN HEAVEN MASTER!" several of the guards exclaimed in unison, their voices laced with fear.

Kate ignored their panic and approached the sedan chair, her movements deliberate and unhurried. Pulling back the curtain, she found a pale, fragile-looking woman inside. The woman's striking white hair and black eyes were captivating, but what truly caught Kate's attention were the glowing violet markings spreading across her body like veins on the verge of bursting.

"It looks like her veins are going to explode," Kate thought, her brows furrowing.

The woman struggled to lift her gaze, her voice weak as she asked, "S-Senior, are you here to kidnap me?"

Kate raised an eyebrow. "Huh? Do you want me to kidnap you?"

A faint smile touched the woman's lips as she whispered, "Please... kill me."

Kate's expression hardened, surprised by the request. Without a word, she stepped out of the sedan chair and dispatched every guard present in a matter of seconds. The air grew still as the last of them fell.

Turning back to the woman, Kate extended a hand. "Should we go?"

The woman stared at Kate's hand for a moment before giving a faint nod and a weak smile. "Hmm."

With that, Kate helped her out of the sedan chair, the glow of the violet markings flickering faintly as the two disappeared into the distance.

At the tranquil lake where Kate had first arrived, she landed gracefully with the woman in her arms. The calm waters mirrored their figures, with only the faint rustling of the wind to break the silence.

"Girl, what is your name?" Kate asked, setting the woman gently on the ground.

"I... am Mo Luanqi, the Princess of Vibrant Chaotic Palace," the woman replied weakly, her voice trembling with exhaustion.

"I see," Kate said, studying her closely. Her sharp eyes detected the unstable energy surging through Mo Luanqi's body. "I can sense that we're connected by fate. I want to help you."

Mo Luanqi let out a bitter laugh, though it was faint. "I don't care about fate. If you can stop my pain... I'm all for it."

"This girl is indeed full of chaotic energy," Kate thought to herself, noting the turbulent aura that surrounded the woman like an unrelenting storm. She placed Mo Luanqi down carefully.

"Girl," Kate began, her tone firm, "I'll seal the chaotic energy within you. But in return, I want you to serve me for the rest of your life."

Mo Luanqi coughed violently, blood staining her lips. She looked up at Kate, desperation flashing in her dark eyes. "P-please..." she murmured, her voice barely audible.

Taking that as confirmation, Kate knelt beside her, placing her hand on Mo Luanqi's abdomen. Closing her eyes, Kate began to scan the woman's body with her spiritual senses.

"I must find the source of this energy and copy it," Kate thought, her brows furrowing as she delved deeper. Chaotic energy pulsed erratically, resisting her efforts to analyze it.

Suddenly, realization dawned on her. "Huh? This... her entire body is the source. Is this some kind of special body constitution?" Kate mused silently.

If that was the case, then there was only one course of action. "Since that's the case, let's copy the constitution directly into my body," she decided.

Kate straightened her posture, focusing entirely on the task at hand. "First, I'll extract the information about the constitution," she thought. Her hand glowed faintly as she concentrated. "Then, I'll install it into my own body directly."

As her focus deepened, the lake around them seemed to ripple unnaturally, the faint echoes of power resonating through the air.

After some time, intricate markings began to emerge on Mo Luanqi's abdomen. The glowing patterns shimmered faintly, pulsating with chaotic energy as they slowly flowed toward Kate's right hand. From there, the markings snaked their way across Kate's entire body, sparing only her face.

"Ugh... uncomfortable," Kate muttered inwardly, her brows knitting together as the energy coursed through her. A strange warmth and pressure enveloped her, both disorienting and invigorating. "So this is what it feels like," she thought, her fingers twitching involuntarily from the sheer intensity of the process.

Kate shifted her gaze toward Mo Luanqi, noticing the drastic change in her condition. The woman's labored breathing had evened out, her face no longer contorted in pain.

"Her breathing has stabilized," Kate noted, her focus unwavering. "Now, to absorb all the chaotic energy left in her body and seal it within me."

With steely determination, Kate steadied herself. Her hand began to emit a faint glow, harmonizing with the markings on her body. The chaotic energy, once wild and uncontrollable, started to flow steadily into Kate, as though tamed by her will.

After a while, Kate lifted her hand, her body trembling slightly as she exhaled a deep, relieved sigh. Sitting back on the soft grass, she gazed at the serene lake nearby. "Finally... I'm done," she thought to herself, a wave of exhaustion washing over her.

Closing her eyes, Kate refocused her energy, calming the storm within her. Moments later, the intricate markings on her body began to shift, flowing like liquid ink toward her chest. The markings condensed, forming a dark, circular symbol that pulsed faintly with power.

As she concentrated further, the dark circle started to ascend, inching its way up her body before resting on her forehead. With a final surge of energy, the dark circle morphed into a crescent moon, glowing faintly against her pale skin.

The lotus mark, long a part of her identity, shimmered briefly before settling atop the crescent moon, creating a striking symbol that radiated a mysterious and ethereal aura.

Suddenly, Kate felt a subtle shift in the energy around her. "Hmm? When this Chaotic Energy mixes with the Destruction Dao, it merges perfectly like they're one," Kate thought to herself. Out of curiosity, she focused the energy into a small bead that formed in her palm. She released it toward a nearby tree, and as soon as it made contact, the tree corroded rapidly before exploding in a violent burst of Destruction Dao.

The display surprised Kate. "It seems this Chaotic Energy can corrode objects, but it requires a trace of my Dao to activate. I need to study this further," she mused, her analytical mind already considering possibilities.

As she turned, she noticed Mo Luanqi stirring. The woman pushed herself up, her movements still weak. "Senior?" Mo Luanqi murmured softly.

"Your body still needs rest. Don't push yourself," Kate said, but to her surprise, Mo Luanqi struggled to her feet and knelt before her.

"Senior, I feel fine now, completely restored. I wish to dedicate this life to serving you," Mo Luanqi declared earnestly.

Kate raised an eyebrow, her expression cold yet intrigued. "Believe it or not, I am a Divine Spirit. I can transform you into a Half Pharygon, granting you the ability to control your constitution. However, you must first give me a piece of your soul as a vow of loyalty," Kate stated firmly.

"This lowly one has endured agony for a thousand years, but thanks to Senior, that pain is gone. I offer my soul willingly," Mo Luanqi said. Without hesitation, a fragment of her soul appeared in her palm before flying toward Kate and merging with her.

Kate's gaze softened slightly. "All right," she said, wounding her finger. A drop of her blood floated toward Mo Luanqi. "Refine my blood. This will make you a Half Pharygon. Once you awaken your Bloodline Talent, I will guide you on how to cultivate it."

"This disciple deeply thanks Master for her grace!" Mo Luanqi said, her voice filled with gratitude.

Kate nodded and continued. "My name is Kate Apocalypse. That is all you need to know for now. You are not alone I have others under my command. My right-hand woman, Dr. Mei, is an excellent researcher and artifact refiner. There is also Chu Yuechan and her daughter, Yun Wuxin."

"Yes, Master," Mo Luanqi replied respectfully.

Kate's eyes narrowed as she recalled the earlier procession. "If you were so unwell, why were you part of that parade?"

Mo Luanqi's expression darkened. "To answer Master's question, this disciple was being forced into marriage by my stepfather," she said bitterly.

"Do you hate him?" Kate asked directly.

"Yes," Mo Luanqi admitted, her voice trembling with anger. "That man killed my real father and mother when I was a child. He forced me to cultivate despite knowing it would worsen my pain, all for his benefit. He planned to marry me off to the Young Master of the Xie Sect those arrogant bastards!" Realizing she had raised her voice, Mo Luanqi quickly lowered her head. "This disciple has made a grave mistake-"

Kate raised a hand to silence her. "I'm not that strict. I asked you a question, and you answered. Do you wish to take revenge?"

Mo Luanqi hesitated for only a moment. "If I take revenge, I request that Master only observe," she said firmly.

"That is acceptable," Kate replied. "But first, I want you to become a Half Divine Spirit. That will allow you to break through to the Mid or even High Rank Open Heaven Realm. You've already condensed your Dao Seal, so with time, you'll refine Yin-Yang and the Five Elements to achieve Open Heaven."

"I won't disappoint Master!" Mo Luanqi vowed.

Kate nodded with approval. "Then let's begin."

After a year, the two emerged from the cave, their cultivation efforts having borne fruit.

"You managed to refine three drops of my blood, which is excellent," Kate said, nodding with approval. "Now you possess the Pharygon Bloodline, and your Bloodline Talent is the Destruction Dao."

Mo Luanqi bowed deeply. "This disciple thanks Master from the deepest part of my life."

Kate continued, her tone calm yet instructive. "I've already explained the fundamentals of the Destruction Dao to you. I'll also provide the materials you'll need for your Open Heaven Realm breakthrough."

Mo Luanqi's voice was filled with gratitude as she replied, "This disciple is eternally grateful for Master's guidance."

Kate waved her hand dismissively. "It's fine," she said before opening her Small Universe. "Enter my Small Universe to further improve your bloodline and condense all the elements into your Dao Seal. When you're ready, you'll ascend to the Open Heaven Realm."

With a final bow, Mo Luanqi stepped into the shimmering portal, ready to continue her path under Kate's guidance.

Kate looked up at the sky, her gaze thoughtful. "She entered the Celestial Emberlake... Hmm, her body is truly remarkable. I'm quite skilled at selecting my people," Kate mused, a slight smirk playing on her lips. Suddenly, she caught herself. "I sound like a complete pervert right now," she muttered, her cheeks flushing faintly.

Her eyes narrowed as she observed the distant horizon. "It seems the chaotic energy within her is finally being brought under control. The markings on her body have disappeared," she remarked to herself before turning away.

Stretching her arms, she sighed. "This place is getting dull. I think it's time to head back to the Star Boundary." With that, her body became enveloped in a shimmering pink World Force, cloaking her completely.

"This should mask my presence perfectly," Kate thought with satisfaction as she ascended into the skies, her figure vanishing into the horizon.

In the close proximity of the Star Boundary, Kate hovered silently in the void, her mind assessing the situation. "I can't rely on Destruction or Creation techniques here, nor can I use Space and Time abilities," she thought to herself with a frown. "It seems my only options are the Primordial Spirit techniques and the stripped-down version of the Isolation of One's Heart."

Determined, she adjusted her trajectory, her eyes narrowing. "First, I must make my way to Ice Heart Valley," she decided, her figure slicing through the heavens as she descended toward the Star Boundary.

After some time, Kate arrived near Ice Heart Valley. The frosty expanse stretched out before her, exuding an icy serenity that was at odds with the palpable tension in the air. "As expected," Kate murmured, her sharp gaze scanning the surroundings. "I can't simply enter the Star Boundary without attracting attention. A lot of eyes are on me."

Her lips curved into a faint smirk. "Let them watch. It won't change what I came here to do," she thought, stepping forward with unwavering confidence.

As Kate approached the sect gates, three stunning women appeared before her, their graceful demeanor exuding power. She paused, sensing their cultivation levels. "Peak Emperor Realm Masters... and one at Half-Step Open Heaven Realm?" Kate thought to herself, her expression calm but curious.

"We, the disciples of Ice Heart Valley, greet Senior," the three women said in unison, bowing respectfully.

Kate studied them briefly before speaking. "Don't be fooled. I'm only a shadow of my former self," she said with a faint, self-deprecating smile.

The lead disciple, An Ruo Yun, stepped forward. "Senior, what does this mean?" she asked cautiously.

"I suffered an accident that stripped me of all my techniques, leaving only my cultivation art intact," Kate explained plainly. "I seek to join Ice Heart Valley, as I have no home left to return to."

The three disciples exchanged uncertain glances before An Ruo Yun spoke again, hesitation lacing her tone. "Senior, while we disciples are honored by your words, this matter..."

Kate raised a hand, her voice steady. "You don't need to worry. I have no interest in usurping the sect. I can serve as a guest elder if that suits your arrangements. My only wish is to find a sanctuary where I can stay for thousands of years."

Seeing the sincerity in her words, An Ruo Yun hesitated briefly before nodding. "If Senior would agree, please make an oath to the heavens that you will not harm or usurp Ice Heart Valley."

Without hesitation, Kate raised her hand. "I, swear upon the heavens that I will not usurp Ice Heart Valley nor harm its foundation in any way."

As soon as the words left her lips, the heavens responded. A golden light descended, enveloping Kate momentarily before dissipating, signifying the oath's acceptance.

"My name is Xie Mo Yinxue, an eight rank open heaven realm master" Kate introduce herself

The three disciples exchanged glances, visibly relieved. "Then from this day onward, Senior Xie Mo Yinxue shall be the first High-Rank Guest Elder of our Ice Heart Valley," An Ruo Yun declared formally, bowing along with the other two women.

Kate nodded, her demeanor serene. "Thank you. I look forward to contributing to the Ice Heart Valley. Please guide me as I adjust to life here."

"Of course, Guest Elder. Please follow us, and we will help familiarize you with the sect," An Ruo Yun said with a respectful tone.

Kate followed the three women toward the heart of the sect, her mind calm as she prepared to embrace this new chapter.

After a month of settling in, Kate now resided in her own ice cave, gazing at the crystalline surroundings. The cave sparkled with an ethereal glow, its icy walls exuding a quiet elegance.

"Even though this is called a cave, it feels far more luxurious than its name implies," Kate thought to herself, a faint smile tugging at her lips.

She shifted her focus inward, her expression growing resolute. "Since I'm here, I should delve into cultivating the Ancestral Divine Ice Cultivation Technique." Sitting cross-legged on the icy floor, she closed her eyes and began channeling her energy.

A year passed in what felt like the blink of an eye. Kate slowly opened her eyes, her aura now refined and brimming with frosty power. "This technique..." she murmured, a realization dawning upon her. "It feels like the source of all other ice cultivation techniques. If that's the case, why not create one of my own?"

Kate's eyes sparkled with determination as she gathered her thoughts. "Just like my Twilight ability devours evil within enemies, I want my ice to embody a similar concept—an all-consuming frost that purifies and obliterates opposition."

With a calm yet intense focus, Kate began to shape her vision, channeling her energy toward crafting her unique path.

Another year passed within the Ice Heart Valley. In the main hall, Sun Yun Xiu voiced her concern.

"Big Sis, is there really no issue with the Guest Elder?" Sun Yun Xiu asked, her brows furrowed.

An Ruo Yun nodded with reassurance. "Yes. Palace Manager Hua Qing Si conducted a thorough investigation and confirmed that her background is as clean as snow. The only conclusion is that she's likely an old monster who has decided to reveal herself now."

Their conversation was suddenly interrupted as a dark and oppressive aura rippled through the valley. The chilling energy carried an unmistakable tinge of evil.

"That's from the Guest Elder's residence!" the elders exclaimed in unison, immediately flying toward the source.

At Kate's residence, chaos reigned. Kate stood amidst the wreckage of frost and shadows, brushing off shards of ice from her robes.

"Curses! That shouldn't have happened," she muttered in frustration. "Why did my energy explode like that?"

As the Ice Heart Valley Elders and acting Valley Master arrived in a flurry of concern, An Ruo Yun stepped forward, her voice steady but firm.

"Guest Elder, what happened here?"

Kate sighed, gesturing toward the icy residue still lingering in the air. "I was recreating an old technique of mine, but it seems my control isn't what it used to be."

An Ruo Yun's sharp eyes didn't miss the lingering malevolence in the air. "But why do I sense an evil aura here?"

Kate folded her arms, her expression calm as she explained. "My former main technique, the Divine Niflheim Forbidden Art, absorbs evil energy to strengthen my attacks. It's a dangerous art, but only for my enemies."

As she spoke, elegant yet menacing ice spikes materialized around her—icy blue with a faint crimson hue pulsating through them. The sight was both beautiful and ominous.

"This is the manifestation of the Niflheim technique," Kate continued, her tone even.

An Ruo Yun hesitated before asking, "Isn't that an evil art, Guest Elder?"

Kate chuckled softly. "Not entirely. It's a low-level evil technique that purifies and harnesses malice. By absorbing evil, it allows me to unleash its power without letting it corrupt me. There's nothing to fear."

An Ruo Yun sighed, visibly relaxing. "I see. Forgive my earlier concern, Guest Elder."

"You don't have to worry. If anything, this art is a safeguard against evil rather than a source of it," Kate reassured them.

Suddenly, Sun Yun Xiu's eyes widened as something clicked in her memory. "Niflheim… isn't that the name of the sword Third Sister uses?"

Kate raised an eyebrow, feigning curiosity. "Sword? What sword?"

An Ruo Yun quickly intervened, her tone polite but firm. "Guest Elder, since everything is fine here, we won't disturb you further. Thank you for your explanation."

Kate nodded with a faint smile. "Of course. Thank you for your concern."

The elders bowed respectfully before leaving, their figures vanishing into the distance as Kate turned her gaze back toward the shattered remnants of her experiment.

"Maybe I should descend to a lower world and practice there," Kate mused, her thoughts drifting as she gazed into the distance.

Suddenly, a glowing panel materialized in front of her, its shimmering text catching her attention.

"You are given the option to return to your peak and remove all curses in your body. This opportunity is given by the Originator."

"Who's the Originator?" Kate muttered, her brows furrowing in curiosity. Despite her questions, she continued reading.

"You will be assigned tasks. By completing them, you will regain your cultivation realm by realm. Upon completing all tasks, you will unlock the ability to choose seven Primordial Elements."

Kate's heart raced, excitement coursing through her veins. "This… this is my chance!" she exclaimed, determination lighting up her eyes.

Without hesitation, she shouted, "Alright then!"

As soon as the words left her lips, her surroundings began to fracture, cracks forming in the air like a broken mirror. Piece by piece, the world around her shattered, and Kate felt herself falling into a vast, dark abyss.
