Birth of the Void Ones

Egere watched with enraptured intensity as the being of chaos he had let in devoured the realm. His fingers shook with excitement as he saw what he desired coming true.

"So powerful" he whispered his eyes round with wonder or was it envy as he watched the entity do the thing the demons had been unable to? He watched the gods show fear for the first time. It was understandable. This was something that would nullify any attempts to respawn they all had.

True death.

A being such as this. Was one worthy of serving. Now all Egere had...

The Devil stumbled back in shock as he watched a new arrival challenge the thing.

His eyes roamed the assembly of beings that had gathered to watch. His eyes landed on his Kaizer, one whom he had thought powerful but in the end, was weak.

Then his gaze went back to the chaos entity, pinned and pummeled by the earthen monstrosity that showed unbelievable might.

Egere grimaced. This was the one chance to reshuffle the deck. Without it, he'd remain at the bottom. His fists tightened. He would not let it be so.

'But what to do?' The frost Devil looked down at his hands. His eyes spotted the last wisps of white almost silvery energy. The same one he saved up for a precarious time.

'This is not a precarious time.' he growled mentally. 'Or is it'.

He frowned up as the chaos entity's third part was burned to nothing but divine mists in the golem's grasp, the colorful flames licking it out of existence.

He kept his eyes on the show watching with gritted teeth as the titanic being pummelled the herald of his desired episode. Then he felt it, the warning bells. He watched wide-eyed and with a slow growth of apprehension in his heart as the being made what he considered a death blow. He wasn't the only one. Even the gods could feel the cold tentacles of death that warned them to stay away from the power being used.

'This can't happen.' the frost Devil decided. With a firm glare, he surged forward. The foreign energy left on his fingertips coalesced. With a slash, he sent the beams out once more.

Unlike the first time, the effects were meager. Unfortunately, it was enough for what he intended.

Daedalus was locked in a silent scream as he spotted his enemy dash forward. He noted he wasn't the only one to notice the frost devil. All five administrators noting the white energy radiating off the devil's claws frowned. None more than the two Soul weavers and enforcers. All bound dashed to block the devil. Surprisingly even the Deviless moved to stop him too.

No one could sense the panic in her eyes though. The screams of fear in her brain as she dashed for the idiot.

Yet all were late. The six ground to a halt around the devil just as the white five-clawed beam shot out. It scraped the ground digging trenches into it as it raced for its target. No one heard the Devilless muttering profanities in indignation.

*

The entity was burrowed into the ground by the force of the beams. Its crystalline form burned into mists as it was subjected to horrific treatment. Its form shrunk as it was reduced slowly into nothing but divine smoke. Then the beams shook out of place and vanished.

The entity was quick to drag itself out of the crevice it had been buried into. It was barely ten percent of its true size. It made a panicked glance around.

Destruction was assured for it. It already knew. The creator of this universe had arrived unexpectedly and it had lost. Something it had suspected but not expected due to the little size of the universe. Yet here it was crawling away for its life.

Its senses spread as it sought an escape. It barely bothered to wonder why it was given respite. Or why the creator who was undoubtedly stronger than it had bothered to battle it on its terms.

It didn't care to stop and evaluate. It just crawled as it searched. With the tear in the aether wall already sealed, it could only try and find somewhere in this universe to hide. Bide its time and wait for an opportunity. An opportunity to either rise or flee.

The sludge of chaos halted. It could sense it. Far in the distance, deep into the realm it had been devouring. A lack of this repulsive energy that hurt it. There was where it would go.

The sludge shifted its liquid form warping as it turned into a huge bipedal. Four clawed arms and two feet. The excess chaos liquid formed tentacles on its back. Black soulless eyes locking onto its destination.

Then it made a quick glance behind. There knelt the creator in its stone armor. The huge rock hand clasping to its side where white energy hounded and tried to seep into it.

This was a chance. It didn't care for whoever or whatever had aided it. All it knew was one sentiment. Something that mortals would understand as 'run'.

ES-GNT

"It's quite evident that Player Hildelith was about to end it right there. This new development leads us to lots of questions about how Hildelith will handle the devil race in times to come. This attack won't also be forgotten by the divines and daemons anytime soon."

The audience agreed with Bertha if their murmurings and comments were anything to go by.

Yet everyone wondered what the chaos entity was aiming to do now. All had seen the Creator goddess literally catch an attack midair. If her continuous attempt to struggle with the beams was any tell then it was obvious the attack was lethal. The effects while unknown seemed precarious if the creator goddess wouldn't let it get past the titan. The titan struggled as it tried to keep the attack from seeping into it and reaching the being housed within.

Yet all eyes were on the Chaos entity. It was moving. Yet surprisingly instead of attacking the player or trying to devour the realm again it just.... ran.

"Is the chaos being running from fear or is it taking this chance to perform something disastrous?". Bertha commented.

"Even worse. Would fleeing or whatever it intends on doing affect the star rings in anyway?" the audience watched with rapt attention as what they realized was the finale to this stream commenced.

The entity's path was straightforward, its destination clear. Yet it's intent unknown.

None bothered to try ascertaining more. All eyes were focused on the being as it raced on a collision path with the administrators. Daedalus watched with shock as all remained frozen watching as the thing raced for it.

His eyes moved to the creator who finally escaped the attack by abandoning the Titan. Instead of crumbling to nothing as expected the Titan's back shifted apart and spat out the goddess.

Her eyes moved quickly around her searching before spotting the chaos rushing for her children.

Daedalus looked back just in time to see Egere leap toward the thing with a joyful expression.

"What the..." his words and everyone's thoughts were cut short as chaos snapped the devil in two with one bite devouring his upper body while the bloodied limbs fell.

The six higher beings scattered as the thing landed in their midst. All pulling their abilities and weapons out ready to strike.

"Huh". It was a collective shock as the thing ignored them and dashed on. Its destination never changing. The six stood staring with surprise as the thing ran.

" Is it running?". A proud yet confused smirk was displayed on Freyr. The rest seemed to ponder it before they nodded. It was obvious, it was fleeing.

"That's actually a waste of time. Mother would hunt it to the ends of the Star rings. There is nowhere it could flee..." Freyja's eyes widened as she halted. Her eyes traveled to the rest who had similar wide-eyed looks.

" The Mortal realm" Ozai announced. Ayarat frowned before taking a step forward. Yet it was the Suneater that spoke.

"Stop it." the god dashed forward as all followed. Tora vanished in a flash of lightning streaking ahead to intercept.

Ozai's blood wings took him swiftly into the air as Haero's flames burst him forward.

The chaos entity stole a glance back as it spotted the chasing lesser beings. It would have scoffed at the insult, yet it ignored it and focused. If they bought time by distracting it then the bigger one would come.

It could already sense the safety ahead. See the end of the realm as the environs blurred past it. A flicker of light caught its attention just as the peal of thunder announced the presence of that one.

"YOU..."

White fur and white blazing eyes. Strands of lightning buzzed and flickered over her fur as it stood on end. Her hand raised as she forced lightning into the white blade or spear she held. The chaos didn't halt, it would not be deterred by a mockery of the true might of that being.

"SHALL..."

So it pushed on. In seconds it was already before her. The Skywalker glared, the white of her eyes locking on the thing as she swung down. Behind it, the Guardian of the Plains descended. Bloody crescent blades shooting forward for the chaos entity dyed the once blue grounds red for just a moment.

"NOT PASS".

The entity split in two forming two hounds and dashing in separate angles. The blade of dangerous lightning flashed in between yet not touching either The two chaos entities raced past on both sides while the released burst of lightning shot on and struck into the two crescent blasts. A mix of white and red explosion grew like a mushroom before spreading and throwing both gods away from its shockwave.

The two entities were pushed forward by the force and raced even harder. It snuck another glance back a gurgle that was most likely a laugh leaving their maws.

Turning it spotted another disturbance up ahead. The two scowled as they pounced. A blast of fire from behind knocked one back while the being upfront ducked in a roll below the thing. Two blue daggers flashed at undetectable speeds through the crystalline skin of the chaos.

" Freyr, be careful" Haero warned as he grappled at the torso of his chaos fiend. The thing even when split still towered over the god. Its claws slammed down harshly on the Suneater who gasped in pain.

He slammed his head into the thing's torso. No intention of besting it. He just had to hold it down. The thing though didn't agree. The second darted away from Freyr's conjured whip and merged back with the first.

"Soul Crest - Vaustaris Copard"

A blue shimmer flickered over the guardian of the Bridge of burdens. His eyes turned a pale gold, his veins became more apparent as he dashed forward. Faster and stronger a hazy outline of a white wolf with red eyes formed around him. Together with his elder brother, both grappled chaos.

The ground cracked from the show of strength. Chaos screeched, howled, roared, and struggled as it fought to flee. Its claws raked the gods spreading black lines over their skin, it's fangs bit down on them. Heads grew and formed all over the chaos as it bit and tore at them.

Haero and Freyr responded in kind. The Suneater spat flames, his touch burned the thing. Freyr formed daggers and blades mid-air that stabbed and cut at the thing.

Chaos howled and then dissolved into water. Flowed like a wave to the side and coalesced back into the beast form. Even with its dark eyes, it was evident what was boiling within it. Rage.

Both brothers stared at each other panting. "Well, we did a number on it" Freyr chuckled. Haero simply frowned.

The chaos beast pounced with a furious roar. Both brothers froze.

A flash of blue shot over them. A blue Vaustaris wolf clashing with the beast. One dwarfed the other as they thrashed about.

"You shall stay away from my brothers" The angry female voice shouted as she raked and tore at the beast. Yet it was not enough. It fell back on its back crushing the blue entity to the ground. The wolf shook itself as the beast turned and gave a bite to its throat snapping its neck and flinging it away.

Freyr glared all grins gone as he watched tbe wolf shift back to an unconscious Freyja. There was a reason she was usually held back. It was simple. As the Lady of the Dead her strength came from the souls of the dead not her physical strength. It made her the weakest of the five.

Freyr leaped forward in anger, Haero by his side. The god brought down a fireball that ate at the beast before both he and Freyr punched at the thing. It snarled as it made to strike back only for a feeling to wash over it.

Danger.

The chaos leaped aside as a familiar blast of lighting struck its former position. It didn't bother trying to confirm as it attempted to dash off once more. Tora appeared with Ozai in tow as she glared it down.

A fist snagged the thing on its abdomen making it stumble and roll. Haero leaped at it, Freyr following. Then it blurred forward instantly. Its entire form shrank as the wave of chaos rushed into its head enlarging and growing it to size.

Now triple the size of both gods as nothing but a head it chomped down. Both gods froze bewildered as the maw descended on them.

A force acted on Freyr hurling him into Haero and both flew out crashing into the ground as a chomp sounded out. The audible breaking of bones and mincing of meat as well as a cry of pain stunned them more than the force their bodies made upon contact with the ground.
