It has been two weeks since his last call and just like that, the opening season was near. Evergreen a smile quiet town was now busy and noisy which was good for business but who would get used to the noise?

"Any news from Trevor?, the seasons almost starting," Mike asked following paige as she reviewed her patient.

Good morning Astrid? how are you feeling today? she said sweetly staring at a girl in the hospital bed being fed, connected to an Oxygen machine. Did you feel any pain at night? The girl only smiled and shaked her head to answer.

How where the last vitals ?

The last vitals at five in the morning where stable her oxygen saturation was between sixty and seventy, I don't think she can breath on her own yet. the nurse answered.

Alright keep monitoring and keep her on Oxygen until its completely above ninety and the observe her without the mask, call me if any thing changes.

Yes Doctor. the nurse replied and continued feeding the patient.

Don't you have anything else to do other than following me around like a student?

I do not know Mike, he only called me once and I was too drunk to remember anything he said. He's a grown up, he will show up when he has to. She said and pushed her hand through her hair.

After an hour of debating whether to go straight to her or wait for her home. He finally gave in and went to her instead. Charles really got to me that jerk he thought as he dashed out of his room grabbed the car keys.

It didn't take long for him to get to the hospital and went straight in but didn't know which one was her office, hence he went to ask for help from the registry.

Excuse Miss which way is Doctor Brooke's office? he asked a pretty lady at the registry must be the secretary.

Uh No i don't have an appointment am here for a personal reason. he tried to explain.

It wasn't hard for Trevor to find the office giving Mikes' excellent directions its hard to miss it, luckily there were no patients waiting outside making the secretary a liar and needed to be executed, How dare she. Unlike his office that was twice as big as her office. It had warm colours and all her books well color coded and arranged neatly on the shelf. A mini coffee Table in next to a blue couch and her table filled with files that needed saving.

I thought I told you not to show up today, Paige said still facing away.

You did? when? I don't remember that the last time we talked. Trevor said leaning his back against the door.

Paige only turned after hearing he was not Mike... Hey... you.. She spoke barely audible.

Well, he turned her head to face him with only an inch away from her nose, practically breathing each others air. Her protests were ignored but instead gave him more access allowing his tongue to explore hers and soon the two moved in the same rhythm as if they belonged in each others mouths until....

Doctor Astrid's Vitals are dropping real fast, A nurse said immediately she opened the door without knocking... I am so sorry I didn't know you had company.

Its alright, Paige said stepping away to grab her stethoscope the turned back to face Trevor one last time.
