CHAPTER 22

If it wasn't stopped, the impact might kill her, good thing she stopped. "Since both of you wanted a second chance, I'll give you one," Andrea said and sighed making the employees shocked at her sudden decision. What? They'll suffer for more if she keeps them inside!

They all held resentment which was very visible in Andrea's eyes. Foolish and naive employee, but she can't do anything about it. They simply lack patience, she's still not done announcing their fate. "Patience, employees." She warned them making them once more surprised. What does she mean? She can feel the hatred?

"You'll be demoted into Janitors, clean the whole fucking building." She said while smiling at the two whose faces fell on the floor, they couldn't accept their new fate. "Of course, you don't want that job so you might as well quit this job. But remember what I said, with my recommendation letter, no one will accept you. Even if it's a small convenience store, no one will be able to appoint you both as their employees. Do you think I'll let the two of you off? I bear grudges to those who act high and mighty in my company." She added making their trap.

"Pick now, I value my job more than anyone else. The time is ticking, there are still many office papers I need to work with." She said irritated.

"I-Ill accept it, Madame." Mr. Amarillo replied to her with no hope in his eyes. His career is done, go with the riches he owned. He's now a lowly person, unable to satisfy the lioness in front of him. "I'll quit Madame! I'd rather quit than be a janitor!" She strongly declined, looks like she's proud of something.

"Suit yourself. It's a one-time offer."

"Hah! Who needs that job?!" She arrogantly said as she stood up with her shaking legs, probably from kneeling for an hour. "Hm, I see. You don't have to pack your things. Exit this company." Andrea said as the girl spit on her, cursing her with her eyes glaring at her.

"Do tell Mr. Farlan, about the debt he owes me. Seems like I'll collect it today." She said as Andrea smirked at the frozen girl in front of her. "Good job for accepting the job, Mr. Amarillo. You can start today. No worries." Andrea added as she started to work towards the office with the new Head Manager.

"Bitch! I hope you rot in hell! Damn you! Damn you!" The woman shouted angrily, trying to make her way to Andrea but with the employees' support, they were able to take away the mad woman, making it much more peaceful inside.

All the stress made Andrea feel sleepy, her head was throbbing nonstop. But to think she has to handle paper works, it seems she won't have any sleep. "I hope you rest well, Madame." The new Head Manager said to her as she showed her bright smile.

"Congratulations on your promotion Mrs. Philips, I do hope for your good governance. I reckon you won't be like them." Andrea said as she sat in the swivel chair, crossing her legs once more as she looked at the elderly woman in front of her.

"Rest assured Madame, I won't do anything stupid." She replied and went out, leaving Andrea alone in her temporary office. All the drama took away her energy. She fought with the police, dealt with Ray's recklessness, and even a drama. This day was hard on her.

She closed her eyes, hoping for some rest. The exhaustion traveled in her body, her body was restless making her feel like she wanted to sleep. Having these sleepy thoughts makes her sleepy so she wants to open her eyes but it seems it won't listen, thus she falls into a deep slumber.

It was already noon, and everyone took out their lunch, they wanted to celebrate but knowing that the C. E. O. Was sleeping inside the office room, they couldn't celebrate. She saves their asses yet they have the balls to wake her up? They might end up in the same fight as those two.

"I am thankful for what Madame did to us. Not only did that bitch quit her work, but I'm also sure she'll have a very bad time." A woman said, gossiping while having her lunch.

"Hah, she deserves it. Good thing she's not here. I can't wait to see her begging in the slums for money or selling her body. That's what she's good at, selling her perfect body." Another woman replied and laughed at the matter. That girl always shows off her slim body, saying it's perfect and everyone wants it.

"I'm not even that jealous of her waist. She looks like a walking breadstick." Another one replied as he sips his coffee in his hand, silently laughing and cursing the woman who quit.

"If you had just seen what happened in the very beginning, it was truly frightening that no one made a sound. Madame was angry seeing how the employees hadn't arrived when she arrived earlier." The other man commented and sighed.

"I still have the chills you know?" He added as he extended his arm while showing them his skin. "Speaking of them, Mr. Amarillo is now mopping the third floor. Serves him right for abusing his position." A man suddenly arrived at their table, joining them gossiping.

"Oh yeah? He was really mad that everyone made a mess on the floor." A woman said and laughed aloud. It seems karma has got them very hard. But they guess that the one who receives more karma is Ms. Farlan. They heard she came from a well-fed family, with a company not that famous or heard but still enough to buy riches.

"I smell a company burning down." Someone said, showing his sly grin in his mouth. That's not ordinary, especially since she made a scene that even made Madame very angry. "Madame hates Feminists the most. She's truly the justice." They praised Andrea for being a balanced person.

Rumors had spread in 3 hours. Rumors that the Head Manager for the Human Resources department was demoted to Janitor, making everyone focus their attention on the poor man mopping the whole floor. They all laugh and look down at him, making him go crazy with how they look at him.

"It seems that the new Human Resources head manager is Mrs. Philips the one who received the most hate from that bastard. I heard Madame personally promotes her, making everyone feel envious of her sudden promotion. If they guessed that answering her would get them that promotion, they should've answered her. But it's too late."

"I heard the Farlans will lose their company. The Assistant Manager angered Madame and even used manipulation on her. Ha, her days are over."

Hearing this, Mr. Amarillo suddenly stopped mopping the floor. That bitch will lose her fortune? A smile crept on his lips as he happily mopped the floor. She should've grabbed the chance Madame offered. But because of her pride, she lost it.

"What a good day." He murmured to himself as he mopped the floor, happily accepting his fate.

On the other hand, Solaris arrived at the company. Everyone was busy chatting with each other and didn't even notice him upon entering. "It seems lively today." He whispered to himself as he decided to step inside the public elevator, who knows he might scoop some tea.

Upon entering, everyone didn't mind him, unlike the other day. Whenever he entered the company, everyone paid him respect but today was like no one paid him attention. As if he was just a regular employee.

Everyone was busy gossiping inside the elevator. Hearing their gossip, Solaris' head feels like exploding. It seems his boss did something crazy again. It's way out of his league. "That bastard deserves it." They all said the same thing.

"Looks like he did deserve it. He couldn't be this hated it does not." Solaris thought. "May I ask where's the Madame right now?" He asked making the employees look at him with wide eyes. "Ahh so now you noticed me." He said as if he was annoyed.

"I-I heard she's currently staying at the Human Resources Department, a lot of interior designers are here renovating her office." The man replied who swallowed a lump before answering him. "Ahh, so where's this Mr. Amarillo now?" He asked when the door suddenly opened, revealing a man mopping the floor happily.
