While June was recovering from the shock, Nikki had come to his side to make sure he hadn't been hurt.

-What happened?

An agitated, worried voice came on the scene. Evelyn had dropped the bag of groceries she had come home with when she heard screaming and banging at the top of the house, she prayed it wasn't in the room where her younger brother's body lay inert. She ran up the stairs when halfway up she ran into that surly aunt who was coming down the stairs with curses coming out of her mouth and tears in her eyes.

-Ray...

-Get out of my way!

Evelyn just stepped to the side of the stairs, the last thing she wanted was to have to confront a relative out of nowhere over some misunderstanding. He watched her kicking some of the supplies lying in the driveway as she stormed past, her moans and groans increasing as she walked to the exit.
