Chapter 02

You know what's the most embarrassing? My current position looks very embarrassing to anyone who sees it. I stood in front alone, watching one by one dozens of students who were sitting sweetly in front of me. Yes, I'm carrying out my punishment for violating. Violate? I think the rules are too old fashioned, I was only a few minutes late and was already called a violation by that damn senior.

No, he's a handsome senior.

Honestly, I still can't stop stealing glances when he's busy, whether it's taking notes or taking care of his tutoring students. Like now, I'm preparing to scream by admitting my mistake and not forgetting to make a promise not to break it again, but my gaze still turns occasionally to the man standing near the second bench with his arms crossed over his chest.

Ooh, so handsome!

"I, ANGELICIA XHYRA FEEL GUARANTEED AND HAVE BREACHED AS A NEW STUDENT FOR ARRIVING LATE. THEN FROM THAT, I HOPE THAT MY MISTAKES CAN BE FORGIVEN TO FOLLOW THE GUIDANCE ACTIVITIES AT THIS UNIVERSITY. OR I WILL BE EXPECTED IF I REALLY BREAK."

Damn, my throat feels like it's about to burst, my voice must be heard to the tutoring class next door. I'm so embarrassed, after this there must be gossip that will spread about the new students who are being punished for being late. Well, I'm going to be very famous. Ah, what a fool, that's not luck!

"Keep your word. Next, clean this class thoroughly. You're still not allowed to take part in the tutoring class. Don't forget to run around the field ten times during recess."

How cruel, really! I haven't even finished scavenging for oxygen to fill my breathing cavity, now that guy is telling me to clean a class like this? Hell?! Really?!

"Excuse me senior, so when can I join the others?" The man directed his gaze towards me, I gulped my saliva again because of that.

"Tomorrow," ah, well, turns out to be just one day. "But if you've done all your punishments today."

"Okay, seniors." Yes, what can you do? I don't have any power or right here to protest. After all, it was my fault, it was also the man's fault for being cruel yet handsome.

"The others come with me, you will be introduced to the campus environment by these two handsome humans. Jacky Smith and Alaska Adelson."

The man who was shorter than the handsome man seemed to have a completely different attitude from Alaska. Yes, I finally know the name of my handsome senior.

Next, I heard all the students laugh at the words that were said by Jack, a man who was quite handsome and humorous.

I glanced at Alaska for a moment, the man didn't respond to Jack's jokes at all. Well, I guess he's a thousand door fridge man. At least grin a little bit, Mr Alaska.

Everyone slowly rose to their feet, scattering out at Jack's directions, I smiled wryly, feeling excluded. My eyes accidentally turned to the side, the cold man passed me, our eyes met for about two seconds before I decided myself.

"My heart would explode if every day was like that," I muttered a little which of course only myself could hear.

-

"Before that, what did you know about literature?" Alaska threw questions at all of her tutors once they were inside the campus' large library.

"Beautiful poetic works of language or sentences?" One of them answered.

Alaska nodded slowly, "That's one of them, there's a lot more you need to know. You must have studied it before entering this university, right?" All in unison agreed what Alaska asked, the man walked over to a large shelf and grabbed one of the books which was quite thick.

"A film, drama, or acting played by two or more people, those are all storylines that have been summarized by an author to form a novel. You know novels? If not, then get lost." Alaska raised the novel in his hand, all the students agreed again.

"You must be familiar with listening to standard or non-standard sentences in a story. Sometimes writers mix standard and non-standard sentences in one novel or story at once, it's certainly confusing. So, if you really intend to make a novel, try not to confuse the readers."

"But I like reading stories like that. Yes, just a little tummy tingle." Jack chirps.

"Then read comedy novels or watch comedy films, Jack." A small pat from the novel that Alaska was holding landed on his head, all the students laughed again with it.

Before they had finished explaining about literature, the break had already stopped them. Alaska put the novel back down and gave instructions.

"Who is the author who inspired you with his work? What is the title of the work? Make it your assignment and bring it tomorrow. Remember, everyone has to do it if they don't want to end up getting kicked out of the tutoring class."

"Okay, seniors!" Their exclamations all ended their meeting. Everyone rushed out, Alaska who was about to approach the cafeteria near the faculty suddenly turned around when he remembered something.

"Hey, where are you going?" Jack's question he just ignored, he kept walking towards the field.

Right, as expected, there was already a girl running alone around the corner of the field. Making all eyes turn to him.

"Damn, I'm so tired even though it's only the third round." Angel let out a mumble as he ran, his breathing was irregular, he tried to ignore all the stares from the other students and preferred to blame himself for not exercising so much.

Alaska still stood there faithfully with a straight face, his thick soot was always watching the girl's movements. He shrugged nonchalantly, intending to get out of there before hearing someone scream that made his legs freeze.

"The girl fainted!"

The next second, the man ran with all his might to get to the field first, not forgetting to throw his alma mater at random, for the first time he felt nervous because after hearing the incident.
