I shuffled sideways through the front door of the townhouse to compensate for the bags that filled my arms. I had gone slightly overboard shopping at the little boutique. Originally, I went in to find a new swimsuit but walked out with an entire vacation wardrobe. 


I blamed my shopping spree on the good mood I was in due to an amazing day at the spa with my two best friends and then meeting Katie at the boutique. Katie was also going through IVF and kindly offered to help me by providing any information about the process that I might be curious about.


I shifted the bags in my arms and closed the door behind me, clicking the lock into place.


My heart jumped, and I turned quickly to find Michael standing behind me in the hallway leading to our kitchen. He had a big smile on his face.
