[Chapter 35 - Cum Gladio et Sale : With Sword and Salt Pt.2]

The edges of the distant mountains were lined with a thin layer of light as dawn began. As usual the air was a near ideal temperament and the grassy plains were lush and full swaying slightly in a breeze. Because of Lindor and Fort Balor being at the center of where the hero supposedly used her skill it stayed in an endless cycle of spring and summer almost like it was stitch in time.

I was dressed in a fair amount of gear ; heavier chestplate, light arm and leg gear. The chestplate was made with a mage in mind and had a hide away slot for my want allowing for a more seamless transition of drawing and aiming. In appearance it was certainly a nicer set. The chestplate was the usual FSE silver but it was embossed with the academy's heraldic symbol. The rest of the metal pieces had some sort of gold trip and the set had different runes throughout it to further increase the durability. At the end of the day it was clearly meant for practical use more than show.
