In a research room underground, beneath Fort Balor Academy. The floor was a large smooth slab, the walls and ceiling were made of packed stones with wooden support beams. Dangling from the beams on the ceiling were softball sized glass balls with stones suspended inside that seemed to emit daylight, creating the illusion of windows different than any lightbulb would ; even with there only being a few of them they easily covered such a large room.. 

The entirety of the rooms walls were covered in wooden shelving filled with various jars and equipment. The rest of the space was filled by a couple of wooden tables with scattered work and chalk boards that were covered with writing and papers.
