Chapter 20

Tremendous flash of lightning drifted across the sky, it begins to thunder. The croaking sounds from creatures slowly faded into the darkness. The rustling leaves halted, and it seemed like all the voices of nature were silent.

Then, after a short while, the elongated leaves reduced in size. The human sized leaves, that got Shane trapped let go of him, throwing him onto the ground.

"Whao that was awesome. The excruciating pain I felt around my whole body is gone now, cool shit. Oh fuck, I forgot, thank you leaves, really" Shane expressed pure gratitude, bowing his head, and raising it back up.

Shane took a look at where he was, and recognised that he was still in the deserted, haunted and most coveted place in Moore's creek.

"Hell, I should leave. This place ain't as cool as I thought" Shane said to himself.

(Question is, how? Frigging Carlos brought us here, he didn't really say shit. Oh, he kept his eyes on a map, while we were headed here, and somehow, we got here. Shit, if I could set my eyes on a gate, or something, that would help) Shane thought.

Just as Shane wandered about the whole place, clasping his arms tightly against each other, his wish turned out to be a reality after all.

"Cool shit. That's a frigging gate. Thank fuck" he screamed, getting his bones stirred up, hurrying through the gate.

The gate actually led him to the woods of Moore's creek, which was exactly what he anticipated. He breathed in the oxygen present in the air. It was stuffed up in the air, so concentrated it could make one dizzy. Shane was too happy to be bothered by too much oxygen though.

The ground was sticky, as though it had rained earlier, making his feet sink slightly into the mud as he walked through the woods.

"I'm so freaking happy I'm alive bruh. Shane, seeing another day. Cool shit. I thought that was the end, back there squeezed into those human sized leaves. Thank fuck I'm good uhh? Ha ha fuck!!!!" Shane shouted.

The sunlight shined brightly through the leaves of the trees, fostering confusion in Shane's mind.

(Why was it dark back there in the deserted, while it's sunny over here? Hmm, who cares? Fuck it) Shane kept going.

Due to what he faced in the deserted, he only focused on getting back to the tents. Even with the sticky ground, his feet moved in speed, getting a bit help from the wind, which was blowing aimlessly, to and fro. His heart raced, the rate of his heartbeat sped up. Shane wanted to get the hell outta here, as soon as fuck, and so he did.

He got to the tents earlier than he estimated, which made him even happier.

"Go fuck yourselves, cock-suckers" Shane turned backwards, saying to the woods in Moore's creek.

**********

Luna just realized that she couldn't be out in the sun because she is a vampire, and that sucked so bad.

(I didn't ask to be a frigging vampire. Hell, how did I get myself into this shit. You will pay for this, Johnny. But how is he out there in the sun?) Luna wondered.

It was still day time, and the students were beginning to get out of bed. Luna had to get into Johnny's, and bury herself in there for as long as fuck. But it was still sunny out there, how would she get to Johnny's if she would get burnt in the sun.

The hunger for blood skyrockets, Luna starts to feel out of place. Her body trembles slightly, she begins to feel uncomfortable even in her own skin.

The ravenousness for blood gets her out of the shade, pushing her whole body in speed towards Johnny's tent. The sun's light blazed her skin, making only a minor impact. She moved in terrible speed, no one could see her clearly. Some students present only saw a figure drift across them, and didn't give a fuck what it was.

"Ohh, fuck! That was amazing"Luna remarked, as soon as she got into Johnny's tent.

She reached for the bag of blood, grabbed two pints at once, chugging them down her throat in a giffy. She glanced back down, noticing it was just a few pints left. Luna recalled Johnny's words, and sighed. She looks down again, and utters, " Fuck that. You made me a vampire Johnny, and you will have to deal with the aftermath"

Luna's thirst for blood cleared out all other thoughts from her mind. Her body and mind yearned for more blood, stimulating her to throw more pints of blood down her throat.

"Ahh fucking love what I feel now!" Luna exclaimed, referring to the feeling of satisfaction that flowed through her whole body.

(Knocks at the door)

Luna feels alarmed, wondering who that would be.

"Oh, maybe it's Johnny" she go gets the door.

"What the..." Luna utters in surprise.

"Whao, didn't expect to see you here"

Shane Jenkins walks leisurely into the tent, examining the place with his eyes, running his hands through a bunch of stuff placed in various areas.

"What are you doing here, Shane?" Luna asks, with a straight face.

"You're not happy to see your big brother?"

Luna closes the door, and walks back in.

"Last I recall, you detest me"

"Yeah well, what can I say? People change. I don't mean I like you now though. I mean, you're still Luna. And well, I'm Shane"

Luna sighs, regretting why the universe gave her such a dickhead as a brother.

"Whatever. Why are you here?"

"I was searching for dudes to hang with, since you know, my cool friends are out in the deserted. So I was kinda barging into every guy's tents. So far, all guys I've seen are dorks"

Luna gets more concerned hearing the deserted. She leans forward, showing interest in the conversation she was having with Shane.

"Shane, what did you mean when you said, your cool friends are out in the deserted?"

Shane takes a few steps back, after noticing Luna was a bit too close to him.

"Well, Carlos and the other folks. And right, we met Tristin and his team too"

Luna's ears tingles, her body quivered. She needed more.

"Then what? What happened next. Where the hell are they now?"

"Hey yo. Slow down baby sis. I have to go now, and resume my quest"

"You're going no where" Luna says angrily.

"Ha ha, you're who now? Mother? Ha ha, go get yourself a boyfriend Luna" Shane attempts to leave.

Luna clasp Shane's arm, restricting Shane from going any further.

"Let go of me, you piece of shit" Shane yells.

"Tell me more, that's all I ask. After you do that, you can go on with your sad ass life doing whatever the fuck you want with it"

Shane struggles to get himself away from Luna's grip, but she was stronger. He wondered why, how, so many thoughts invaded his mind. Since he wasn't getting away from her clasp, he relaxed, ready to say what he knows.

"Okay fine. We were treasure hunting, when we got our eyes on a clue which led to us a place called the deserted. It's like a totally different place in Moore's creek, and hell, it is fucking creepy. We wandered about the whole place, and then, stumbled into Tristin and his team. I kinda got stuck in a bunch of human sized leaves, and well, got away somehow. And now I'm here" Shane's tone was calm as fuck. Anyone would laugh his ass out seeing Shane talk in this gentle tone, but Luna was on a serious note.

"What about the others?" She asks

"I don't know. Last I saw them, they were thinking of ways to leave the deserted because it was full of creepy noises, and weird stuff. I didn't believe it until I got trapped in those leaves. I literally saw them increase in length Luna, all by themselves, and they got me trapped, but released me some hours ago"

"Johnny was right. There's more to this party" Luna drew conclusions.

"What party?"

"Who gives a damn about some lame party. Get out of my face Shane, and right, thanks for the info"

"Well fuck you too!" Shane replies, nudging his arms away from Luna's grip.

Shane walks towards the door, but halts seeing something he was interested in.

"What's in that bag?" Shane inquisitiveness got him asking.

He moves towards the bag, attempting to get hold of it.

Luna remembers she didn't stash it away properly as Johnny always did. Even the pints of blood she just had were littered across the ground, but Shane didn't take notice of the littered pints.

"I said, leave!" Luna's harsh tone scared the fuck out of Shane.

"Gosh, I was already leaving. And, I still detest you. I just told you what I knew about Carlos and the others because I think it's not important. And I was serious about what I said. Being a sad, lonely teenage girl can be very shitty"

Luna ignores his ass, she is lost in her own head, processing the information Shane communicated to her.

(Johnny could be in some deep shit. Tristin, and the others too. Fuck, what do I do now? How the hell does a newbie vampire save the day?)
