Episode 6: (Minus Saga) Mauka’s New Family
Dragon Ball – Scene 6.0: Planet Brench (Planet Cooler 98), Age 732
After Sax takes his leave, Cooler stands up from his throne and walks towards both Nion and Mauka with Mauka frightened and hiding behind her caretaker as he look closely at them, but more so at Mauka and her captivating glowing blue eyes. As he looks at her, he feels something strange from her as this feels similar when he is near Artyk that he starts to believe Nion's words of Mauka's Bright and Shiny Future would be given to him so long as she bonds with him.
Cooler:
You have a pair of interesting eyes, my dear. I believe that you have the potential to wield great power.
Mauka:
(Meekly Voice)
I don't…I don't have that. I will never have that…I'm not going to—
Cooler:
I see. What is her power level? Over 8,000? She is the Saiyan Princess, her power level must be that high.
Nion:
No. She was born abnormal. Her power level at the moment is 125.
Cooler:
(Surprised, Serious Demeanor)
125? You are telling me the Princess was born with the same power level as a Low Class Saiyan?
Nion:
If you believe I am fooling you, you can use your Scouter to verify it.
Salza:

It is true, Monsieur Cooler. The Princess' Power Level is 125. If she were to become an Ozaru, her Power Level would reach 1,250. But since she's a Low Class Saiyan, she will lose control if she were to transform.

She can attain the power of an Ozaru without turning into one.

I need to assert what are his intentions. I can't trust him with Hime-Sama if his intentions are for his own ill-willed gratifying self-interests.
Cooler:
Very well. I met him a year ago after I lost my right to succeed my father and met my apprentice, Artyk. I wanted to see if what he told my father was true.
Nion:
But Sax-Sensei was on Planet Vegeta during that time, how did you find him without coming into contact with our planet?
Salza:
He left behind some clues on how to contact him, but the clues were too complicated for just anyone to translate, since I know 7,000 Languages it wasn't that difficult.

At that moment, Artyk arrives at the throne room after hearing that Saiyans are in the presence of Cooler and are still alive which brings a deep sense of curiosity to the Frost Demon. He sees both Mauka & Nion and is disgusted to see them, but hides his disgust behind condescending smile. When Mauka sees Artyk, she can tell he's resentful of her & Nion and it scares her.
Artyk:
I will fight her. I will be a gentleman and fight her in my first form.
Cooler:
Do not underestimate the power of the Ozaru, Artyk. The Scouters say they get a 10x power boost, but I have seen abnormals like Mauka obtain power levels higher that 10x. I suggest you use your second form when dealing with her. Your own Power Level might be on par with hers in this "Primal" Form, but these Saiyans get stronger faster than you cannot predict. But if you are confident that you can defeat her, I will allow it.
Artyk:
Thank you, Cooler-Sama.
Cooler:
Nevertheless you are forbidden to kill her.

Phase 1:
Birth Of A Hateful Rivalry Redux
At a special arena created by the Brench for entertainment, everyone is anticipating the fight as well as Artyk being the favorite to win while Mauka is scared and crying that she won't win, but Nion comforts her with reminding her of her Saiyan Heritage, she being a Saiyan Princess and that The Strongest Girl In The Universe, so long as she doesn't forget that, she will never lose; she also promises to give her a very special gift when it's all over. These words motivates her to try and win against Artyk even though his Power Level is close to 2,000 in his First Form meanwhile Mauka's Full Power is 1,250 in her Primal Form meaning that Mauka has a good chance of losing, but if Artyk gets too confident, Mauka will have a chance of winning instead. Cooler commands Nion to use the Power Ball Skill in order for Mauka to access the Ozaru Power and she complies as she creates the artificial moon which causes an unusual transformation on her as Mauka's Hair gets spikier and much more unruly, her gloves are torn as her nails gets longer that start resembling claws, her teeth become as sharp as fangs, her beautiful sapphire blue eyes turns pupil-less ruby eyes similar to an Ozaru and lastly her aura turns from innocent blue to ominous black and red as it surrounds her like a demon which scares even the most high level members in the crowd. Since Nion doesn't have her tail, she cannot transform into an Ozaru. Cooler however was intrigued upon seeing Mauka display such power and unique transformation no Saiyan is capable of. Artyk mocks Mauka by calling her a monkey only to be caught off guard as she snap vanishes behind him and start pummeling him hysterically like a Savage. Her speed is even higher than the Average Saiyan Ozaru that Neiz is impressed and the powerful blow that Artyk got from Mauka's Attack got Dore excited to see the amount of power she used on said attack. Salza, worried on what Cooler said, uses his scouter and is in shock that Mauka's Power Level didn't stay at 1,250, but instead it keeps increasing and right now Mauka's Power Level is at 11,000 which is almost 100x the estimated power level boost that Salza was about to jump in, but is stopped by Cooler as he told him that Artyk needs to learn not to underestimate his enemies and losing to Mauka will teach him that. Nion wants to stop the fight, but is worried Cooler will take this as an insult and kill her for it. As the fight rages on, Artyk tries to go to his Second Form, but Mauka's Savage and Relentless Assault stops him from transforming; furious at Mauka's insane power, he tries to kill her with his experimental Supernova which scares everyone on the planet and infuriates Cooler, but refuses to stop him which makes everyone panic even more. However Mauka destroys Artyk's Supernova with a Chou Makouhou that detonates the Supernova on Artyk and while he's disoriented by the explosion, Mauka appears in front of him and using her claw, destroys the bottom part of his face in a very horrific manner that resembles what has happened to him in the real world. Salza's Scouter explodes as soon as Mauka fires her mouth beam and is horrified on high her power level keeps rising. As Mauka is about to kill him, Nion appears behind her, grabs her and starts humming the lullaby Gine would sing to her when they were together during their training with Sax. Her soothing voice manages to calm Mauka down as Nion destroys the Power Ball, returning Mauka back to normal and just like every inexperience Saiyan after reverting from their Ozaru Form, Mauka lost consciousness. Artyk, Furious at Mauka for severely injuring him and ruining his face, was about to kill not only her, but Nion as well as he is about to fire a death beam only for Cooler to grab his wrist and forcibly pulls it into the air.
Artyk:
(Shocked)
Cooler-Sama!?!?!?
Cooler:
(Annoyed, Furious Yet Disappointed Glare)
I warned you, didn't I? I told you not to underestimate an abnormal. I told you to go to your Second Form, but you did not listen! Getting your face destroyed like this will teach you a lesson not to behave like Frieza.
Upon hearing his master compare him to Frieza, something inside Artyk broke as he stares at the unconscious Mauka with extreme contempt for humiliating him in front of his master and everyone on the planet as he vows to get his revenge on her one day and make her suffer a fate worse than death as he heads to the medical bay to tend to his destroyed lower face. On another location, Nion is tending to Mauka with Cooler and only his Armored Squadron along with Bonyu are curious on why Mauka is the only Saiyan able to undergo this unique transformation.
Cooler:
Will she be alright?
Nion:
She'll be fine, this has happened before.
Dore, Neiz:
(Surprised)
It has!?
Cooler:
So this is the second time?
Nion:
Yes. It all happened when King Vegeta wanted to make both his son and daughter into Battle Ready Saiyans. However…when they transformed into Ozarus, she was the only one who didn't fully transformed which everyone found strange…until she managed to take down not only everyone of our targets, but our own Saiyans as well. She even managed to injure both her father and twin brother. Luckily her scouter was still intact and still on her face, so her mother, the queen managed to subdue her with the lullaby I used to calm her down just now.
Bonyu:
What was that lullaby?
Nion:
It's called "Shana" and she learned it from an acquaintance of ours. It is the only means to keep her under control.
Salza:
(Condescending Attitude)
Can't believe you succeeded. You were singing off-key.
Nion:
(Condescending Attitude)
Can't believe you didn't popped your eye out when your scouter blew up while scanning the princess, but I'm not complaining.
Cooler:
Enough! The both of you! What was her power level before the scouter gave out, Salza?
Salza:
(Clears Throat)
Apologies, Monsieur Cooler. Her Power Level was 90,000 before the scouter blew up and I believe that wasn't the final data input.
Dore, Neiz, Bonyu:
(Shocked)
90,000!?!?!? BUT SHE'S A SAIYAN!!!
Nion:
I thought so too. No Saiyan has ever attained such power level…
(Thinking)
…Except for the Legendary Super Saiyan.
Cooler:
(Thinking)
Could it be…that the coming of the Super Saiyan God is true? Could this child be that God? What would happen if Beerus-Sama becomes aware of her? Will she become his successor? Or his counterpart? If what Sax and Nion says is true and I bond with the princess…not only I will inherit and share her bright and shiny future, but…I will have a goddess as my loyal subject. This is a very fortunate turn of events. However…there are elements that can ruin this for me – Frieza…Father…and even Artyk. If I am to have her become loyal to me and my cause…I need her to be happy enough that she will never turn away from me. But in order to do that…I cannot let her caretaker get hurt or killed under my watch. I notice an animosity between her and Salza. He is my most capable warrior, however I need to reign him in so he doesn't end up killing her.
(Out Loud)
My last question – why is it that Mauka is the only one that has a Primal Form?
Nion:
I believe it is her eyes. My theory is that her special colored eyes acts like a filter that stops most of the Blutz Waves and infuses what is necessary into her tail and body. By doing so it is not her physical size that grows into gigantic proportions, it is actually her power which gets a gigantic boost. So instead of getting a 10x Power Boost, she practically gets a power level to match whoever she is fighting, making her into an adapter. That is why she managed to overpower Artyk, her body tried to adjust, adapt, assimilate and evolve to the point to perfectly match her opponent, but never overpower them unless they make a mistake in the middle of the battle.
Cooler:
Interesting…Dore. Neiz.
Dore, Neiz:
Hai, Cooler-Sama?
Cooler:
Take the week off. After what we have witnessed today, I want you to show Mauka the ropes in being a member of the Armored Squadron.
Dore, Neiz:
(Surprised)

Cooler:
Indeed. Just like all of you…I had a negative viewpoint of Saiyans. However…upon witnessing the power of the princess, I believe we can create a bridge among our worlds that will produce a more powerful alliance.
Nion:
(Worried)

Cooler:
But of course. I gave both Sax and you my word that I will keep you both safe. Both you and the princess can rest here, Dore and Neiz will be outside this room. If you need anything, my maids will provide anything you need. Salza will show you around tomorrow. Before I leave…did King Vegeta is aware of his daughter's true potential?
Nion:
Yes. This is the reason he asked Sax-Sensei to keep her safe. He believes that both of his children will bring glory to the Saiyan Race…and they will…just not like he wants them to be.
Cooler:
I see. Very well. Let's us leave them to their privacy.
As Cooler and his Armored Squadron leaves Nion to tend to Mauka, as soon as she is alone with her, Nion starts to cry as she is saddened by this turn of event befalling Mauka. Hours later deep in the night, Mauka wakes up and notices that Nion is sleeping besides her in the bed holding her lovingly. Without saying a word, Mauka tries to go back to sleep…
Nion:
(Eyes Close)
Aren't you going to say anything, Hime-Sama?
Mauka:
Nion Onee-Sama…I…
Nion:
(Pat Mauka's Head, Opens Eyes)
You did well, Hime-Sama. You won the match.
Mauka:
I…won…?
Nion:
(Smiling)
Yes, you did and I did promised you a reward if you performed well. Do you want to know what that is?
Mauka:
(Nods Meekly)

Upon listening to Nion's whispers, Mauka is shocked and taken aback upon seeing Nion smiling back to her warmly that the princess starts to sob loudly. Nion hugs her lovingly and promises to care for her as much as she can as her mother from now on since her real mother, the queen is unable to care for her. Both Dore and Neiz, standing outside their room can't help but to feel sorry for Mauka as they remember their own relationship with their mothers and feel that they should support her now as a member of their squadron.
Dragon Ball – Scene 6.1: Planet Frieza 79
After returning from his scouting mission on Planet Vegeta looking for the Saiyan Mauka (Luminescence) speaking about the coming of the Super Saiyan God, Zarbon reports to Frieza on what he found and on first glance, Frieza doesn't seem worried but Berryblue knows him better as she knows that this is getting to him.
Berryblue:
Well? What do you think?
Frieza:
It's a fantasy. Saiyans attaining the power of a god? Ridiculous.
Kikono:
True. If that was a real thing, why haven't we seen them by now?
Berryblue:
Remember that legends has spot of truth in there. Just because most of it is made up, it doesn't mean it is all false.
Frieza:
Even so, it is nothing to worry about. Even if we got involved with this Saiyan God, Beerus-Sama might not approve us going after his counterpart. If Mauka-San really is this Saiyan God, we need to find her before Beerus-Sama does.
Zarbon:
I may know where the Namekian took her, but I will need some time to confirm it.
Frieza:
Do what you have to, Zarbon-San. Do not come back until you have found her. Kikono-San. I want you to research all you can find on this Super Saiyan God Legend. See if you find anything among their records.
Kikono:
Hai, Frieza-Sama.
Berryblue:
Scared, Frieza-Sama?

(Amused Yet Annoyed Smile)
Scared? Me? I'm the strongest in the universe. Why should I be scared of a bunch of monkeys?
Berryblue:
You are right. But remember Frieza-Sama, not everyone can stay on top forever. Your brother learned that after he lost to you.
Frieza is annoyed to hear Berryblue talk to him like that, but those words are going to haunt him to the point that his contempt towards all Saiyans especially Goku and Vegeta will reach immoral levels of hatred. For now he needs to wait for both Zarbon and Kikono to acquire all the info on Mauka's location and all the details on the Super Saiyan God. Zarbon returns to Planet Vegeta in order to keep tabs on the queen meanwhile Kikono will be reading the Saiyan Legends at the Saiyan Palace.
Dragon Ball – Scene 6.2: Planet Brench (Planet Cooler 98)
The next morning Mauka is in awe as Cooler gives her an armor establishing her as a member of his Armored Squadron which makes her very happy. Nion however is worried as she knows that Cooler doesn't have good intentions for having Mauka join the squadron. With Dore and Neiz chaperoning Mauka, everyone in Brench recognizes her as the Saiyan that defeated Artyk and they were all actually sincerely praising her: A Saiyan with a Power Level of 125 defeating a Frost Demon in his first form meanwhile they are aware that Artyk has a Power Level of 66,666 in his Third Form which is the highest form that has made it to the public. Meanwhile none knows how high his Fourth and possibly Final Form truly is as many in Brench believes his full power level is 10x higher than his third form. Their praise has proven authentic as the children and elderly approaches her and give her many gifts which Dore and Neiz can't believe that Mauka has captivated the hearts of everyone on the planet and forgot about Artyk; a planet that has nothing but contempt towards Saiyans. For a full week, Dore and Neiz taught Mauka everything about Cooler, the Squadron and how Frieza gave Brench to Cooler as a handout as Frieza uses this to mock him which Mauka started hating Frieza for being a spoiled brat of a younger brother. However…by spending time with Mauka, Dore loves on how determined she is to get stronger to the point she wants to be as big and strong as him that he wants to teach her on how to be a big and strong wrestler like him; as for Neiz, he feels jealous that Mauka is giving Dore more attention than him, so he wants to teach her on how to be the fastest in the universe that even Burter will be as slow as molasses compared to how fast they will be which motivates her to be as talented as possible in order to make her family, King, Queen and Prince Vegeta proud.
Meanwhile Nion is working as a scientist for Cooler under the leadership of Salza as her supervisor which annoys her to no end as she hates him more than anything and the feeling is mutual as he still considers all Saiyans as worthless monkeys that don't deserve any type of respect or have them around. They always bicker in a very unusual manner that baffles everyone around them, but Bonyu notices this and decides to make them friends in a very sneaky way by using Mauka as a proxy to do so. On that day when Mauka is being trained by both Dore and Neiz in order to improve her strength, speed and stamina, Bonyu appears and convinces them both to allow her to "Bond" with Mauka as the princess still is scared of many among Cooler's inner circle. As they walk through the corridor, Bonyu notices that Mauka is still feeling uneasy being with her.
Bonyu:
I know how you feel, love. I've been there.
Mauka:
Huh? What do you mean?
Bonyu:
This planet was once a worthless dump…just as bad as your world. But then King Cold appeared and everything changed. I was no different than you – Scared, hungry and all alone. So I had to get better in order to survive and in doing so I met me mate, Jeice and we became recognized by King Cold and made it into an elite force – The Ginyu Force. I'll be honest love…the reason I left the force was because I hated those stupid fighting poses.
Mauka:
I actually like the poses.
Bonyu:
(Annoyed)
You say that now love, but wait until you get older. You'll be saying the opposite before you know it. What I am trying to say is that you get close to not only Dore and Neiz, but to Salza too. You already won over those two lugs which isn't that hard. Salza isn't as easy as those two. You'll need to prove yourself to him.
Mauka:
How do I do that?
Bonyu smiles and whispers to Mauka on how to impress Salza and she needed to take the remaining days of the week to get ideas from her to win over Salza who she is unaware that he has great disdain of Saiyans. After doing everything Bonyu tells her, Mauka approaches Salza who tries his best to maintain composure towards her, however…
Phase 2:
Vs. Captain Of The CAS
Salza is surprised that Mauka challenged him to a battle which he mocks her for it, but accepts her challenge anyways. However, after the private talk he had with Cooler the other day, Salza needs to hold himself back especially that she can't access her Primal Form without the Full Moon or someone creating a Power Ball; he accepts so long as he doesn't go overboard and accidentally kill her. Mauka and Salza are in a location only privy for the squadron and in there they are getting ready to fight.
Salza:
Are you sure you want this, Mademoiselle Mauka? You might get hurt very badly if I overdo it.
Mauka:
I believe in you, Salza-Taichou. I know you will do your best as will I.
Salza:
(Thinking)
What is this childish monkey doing? Doesn't she knows I can break her neck with just one slap? Unless…
(Looks Around, Notices Bonyu, Dore & Neiz From A Distance, Annoyed, Thinking)
I should haven known they were behind this. If that scrawny monkey woman sees that I hurt the girl, she run to Monsieur Cooler and I'll get punish for it. Might as well hold back as much as I can or I'll pay for it.
Mauka strikes a stylish fighting pose that actually impresses Salza as both Dore and Neiz are cheering her on as she is on point on how perfectly she pulled it off, but Salza notices something off about the pose that is irking him, but decides to deal with it later as he prepares to fight Mauka. Salza readies himself to battle Mauka, she begins attacking him by snap vanishing above him and shooting a Galick Gun at him, but Salza anticipated this and snap vanishes behind her, but Mauka jumps forward, turns around mid-jump and fires a Galick Beam at Salza only for him to barely dodge it as the beam just cut a few hairlines. He quickly tries to blind her with a Fake Blast so he can incapacitate her with a chop, but the Saiyan Princess is fighting him with Ki Blasts from a distance like Bonyu and Jeice's Crusher Ball and not getting any closer to him. As Salza tries to get close to her, Mauka would uses the skills she learned from both Bonyu and Neiz as Mauka uses her improved speed after training with Neiz and setting up Blast Balls so they can self-destruct when Salza goes near them and creates an electrical barrier around herself called Tea Time taught to her by Bonyu. Mauka fights Salza both aggressively and defensively from a distance which he cannot believe a Saiyan Child with a Power Level of 125 can summon this much Ki, so he decides to use his scouter to see if she grew stronger for the past week and he can't believe what he is reading: her power level only rose by 45 points and yet her attacks are hurting him exponentially. With Mauka's Tea Time protecting her, Salza tries to calculate of a way to get around her defense as unlike Bonyu, for some Mauka's Energy isn't waning however unlike her Primal Form, Mauka's Power isn't increasing in the slightest; it's almost as she has infinite energy but Salza dismisses the idea as infinite energy isn't a thing as he isn't the only one that notices this, as Goku and the other that are watching this turn of events are curious on why Mauka's Ki isn't going down as they all stare at Luminescence which she is offended that they think she made Mauka's Ki not depleting as she pouts at the idea.
Salza calculates that if he blasts Mauka's Tea Time hard enough without going overboard, he might smash her defenses and beat her and since he is aware of Neiz's Speed, if Mauka assimilated his style without thinking, he can outsmart her and outpace her. Salza fires a Full Power Energy Wave strong enough to shatter Mauka's Tea Time that spooks him as she falls to the ground badly injured that he rushes to her and grabs her before hitting the ground. Upon catching Mauka, Salza is worried that he might have done her in as she looks really injured, luckily she regains consciousness and smiles weakly at him.
Salza:
(Annoyed)
Imbécile! What were you thinking!?
Mauka:
(Weak Chuckle)
I wanted to show you that not all Saiyans are stupid monkeys.
Salza:
Merde! What did Dore, Neiz and Bonyu fill your head with? I…don't hate you. I'm…actually impressed by you, Mademoiselle Mauka. It's just that…Let's just say the majority of your kind left a bad impression on me. But I'm not going to lie…you annoyed me just now.
Mauka:
(Saddened)

That fighting pose you showed me needs a little work. When doing a pose, it needs to leave a positive impression that will elevate Monsieur Cooler's name to glory. I will teach you how to do more stylish fighting pose that will make the Ginyu Force look like a Band of Circus Clowns.

From a distance both Dore and Neiz are happy for Mauka being accepted by Salza, meanwhile Bonyu proudly chuckles and walks away. Goku and the others confronts Luminescence on why Mauka's Ki wasn't decreasing during the fight.
Vegeta:
Alright, what did you do?
Luminescence:
(Annoyed Sigh)
Why are you blaming me for something like this? I'll admit that I have gotten involve early on, but I'm trying to stay out of it as much as I can now since I don't want to mess around with this. That would stop being fun and becomes work. Why not look at Ark, Chronoa or even Putine!? Why is it always me!?
Ark:
She's right. It was me who actually had something to do with this.
Goku:

Ark:
Because I found out as soon as I interacted with Mauka…she is the one I have been looking for. She is the reincarnated souls of one of my guardians.
Saki:
I see. I heard of this. Primordials have the ability to clone themselves but they are only allowed to do so twice. These clones are considered as a part of said Primordial's Personality.
Ark:
Well said. Mauka back then was my guardian known as "Faith" and just as her name states, she gains power the more positive energy she can gather around her, making sure her Ki doesn't deplete. If there's no hope around her, her power will behave like that of a normal human.

I can think of 2 reasons. 1 – Her Primal Form allowed her access to her dormant true power, thus the power she inherited from me would be easily accessible to her since in that form, Mauka is relying on instinct since she still don't have control over this form.

I think Artyk is my second guardian. His name was "Misery" and when they were side by side, they would try to end each other. Misery would always be stronger than Faith. However…during the days before me and my brethren were sealed away, Faith's power for some reason started to overshadow Misery. I always wondered why that was…

Then I saw you, Son Goku and how you led your life…then I understood it. The reason she became more powerful than Misery is because the Light of Hope was being born in the cosmos. That was why Zen-Oh is…are the rulers of all. I still have some traces of resentment from that time, but that is fading the more I see Mauka grow like this…the more I feel that my legacy will exist for a very long time.

With Ark saying that, he and everyone looks at the Dreamscape and sees that Artyk is obsessing himself with Mauka that one thing is coursing through his mind: Her Eternal Torment Under His Foot, To Make Her Life A Living Hell Full Of Pain, Suffering, Death and Misery. Artyk imagines seeing Mauka suffering, bleeding, broken and like a lifeless slave as he laugh maniacally and his eyes glows ominous red. Everyone starts to worry about Mauka now that they all know that Artyk and her are two sides of the same coin.
