Mago
By the time I got back to my room, it was already midnight, and I saw Heath was sound asleep. Hmm, looks like he doesn't care about me harming him. Well, I think I can try a little trick on him. So I softly made my way to his bed, and when I was about to pull his pillow off his head, he caught my hand promptly.
”I was wide awake a long time back, Ash so that, you don't try anything like this with me.” Heath said, now getting up from his bed and I smirked at him, impressed by his thinking looks like he is not so dumb after all.
”Good to know that you are always alert.” I said.
”Thank you, so are you okay now? No plans of strangling me again, right?” Heath asked jokingly, but I can see the dread in his eyes. I groaned before replying.
”Heath, relax. I am not going to kill you, and I spoke to my mum about it she explained what was happening.” I said and this pricked Heath's interest.
”So what did your mum say?” he asked me.
”Sarina is my alma gemela.” I proclaimed, and I saw Heath's face go from composed to aghast in a matter of seconds.
”No way, but how did you find your soulmate before you turn eighteen?” Heath asked with disorientation. So I started explaining everything that mum told me.
”Oh my gosh! that is so cool. So when are you going to tell this to Sarina?” Heath asked next, and I shrugged my shoulders.
”I am not going to tell her, instead I am going to let her figure it out.” I said.
”But what if she has a boyfriend already. You never know, right. She is more like a Greek goddess, so she is bound to have someone.” Heath said and I felt my anger skyrocket. Sarina is destined to be with me, so I don't think she will be that stupid to have a boyfriend.
”I am sure she is single.” I said with a finality in my voice, and Heath just shook his head, agreeing with me.
”I think we will talk tomorrow, Ash, I am depleted I am going to sleep now. Goodnight.” Heath said pulling his cover over his head.
”Goodnight, Heath.” I said and went over to my bed and laid down. I have this one question that is still running on my head. Why is Sarina a Neutral? Even though my gut feeling tells me that she is not a Neutral and something way more than that.
The sun shone on my eyes, making me squint them. Why the hell did Heath not close the curtains last night? Err, I rolled on to my other side to try and get some sleep but just then my alarm clock rang, waking me up again. While I tried to ignore that and sleep I suddenly remembered that today is the first day of school. Oh shit! I immediately got off from my bed and ran into the bathroom to take a quick shower.
After twenty minutes, I was ready to start my first day of school. ”Ash, did you see my tie anyway?” Heath screamed from the bathroom. I looked around our room and spotted his tie lying on the table.
”Your tie is taking a rest.” I yelled back with sarcasm.
”This is not the time to joke, Ash, please can you bring me my tie?” I heard Heath from the bathroom.
”Sorry Heath, but I am getting late for breakfast, see you there.” I said before leaving our room with my bag. When I reached the landing I saw Heath running through the staircase to catch up with me.
”Seriously, Ash, why are you in a hurry?” Health asked me, out of breath. I just shrugged and started walking towards the dining room. When we entered, the huge place was packed with students walking with their food to find a table. When I scanned the entire area, I saw Sarina sitting alone on a corner table, so I told Heath to go and grab the food while I made my way towards her. By the time I was near her table Heath, came too, so both of us sat at the table with Sarina. And Heath started making conversations with her while I kept staring.
When she got annoyed to the maximum because of Heath, she started to get up and leave, but I used my magic to keep her in place. And she turned around and glared at Heath.
I Possess Heat, not storm.” he said before getting up and leaving Sarina and me alone.
”Why do you always run away from me, Sarina?” I asked her in a deep husky voice, which made her shift uncomfortably on her seat. And I smirked, knowing that I affect her as much as she affects me.
”Ashton, I think if we both stay far away from each other, then we won't cause much drama in this school. Because trust me, I am already dealing with enough I don't want to start hearing people call me more names because of you.” she mumbled with her eyes glued to her plate.
”I am afraid I can't do that. I am fond of that mouth of yours.” I whispered in her ears. Making her shiver, and my hand involuntarily started moving towards hers, and when it was almost going to touch, she abruptly got up from her seat, startling the both of us.
”It was nice having breakfast with you, Ashton, but I am afraid I have a class to attend to.” she said and grabbed her things and walked away while I glanced at her retreating figure with longing.
”Hey Ash, we got to go, we will be late for class.” Heath said, and I reluctantly got up from my seat and followed him. By the time we reached our history class, I kept drifting back to what happened earlier if only I could have touched. I was so absorbed in my thoughts that I didn't realize when we sat down, but I think I don't mind because I got to sit next to my Belleza.
While the teacher was teaching, I noticed this boy, who was talking to Sarina and he was way too close to her which I didn't like so I discreetly used my magic and made him fall off his chair which caused the entire class to look at him. While Sarina looked my way and glared at me while I winked at her.
