Maga

“She is not your friend.” Someone else said from the doorway. Which made both of us jerk our heads towards the door. Royce was standing there, casually leaning on the doorframe.

”Royce?” my voice sounded unsure even to my ears. How did he know that I was in Ashton’s room?

”Hi Sarina, you owe me for ditching our study group yesterday.” he said nonchalantly.

”Er, I was a bit busy helping Ashton. As per our headmistress’s request.” I said, and the way he looked at me said that he is not believing me at all.

”What do you want Royce?” Ashton asked in a grim voice. I cringed a bit at his bluntness.

”I came to escort Sarina back to her room.” he said and both Ashton and Royce glared at one another, and I felt like suffocating with all the tension that was building up in the room. Well looks like I might have to break this tension, or someone is going to get hurt.
