No matter what conflicts we had in our past, Ian was always my best friend, and seeing him take his last breath broke something in my heart.
“Ian, you can't just leave us like this. Wake up! Wake up!” Sarina started weeping, and I gently placed my hand on her shoulder.
“Sarina, I think you should let him go,” I said, but then I didn't get any response from her which made me apprehensive.
“Sarina?” I shook her shoulder harder, but I still didn't get any response from her, and when I bend and looked at her face, that is when I noticed that her eyes were closed, and after a few minutes, her hands started trembling. “Sarina? Please open your eyes! You're scaring me.” I yelled at her, but then she didn't listen to me.
