Maga
The last thing that I remember before I fainted was asking Ashton whether Ian was okay, and the immense relief that filled my body after hearing that he was okay was the best feeling that I have ever experienced in my whole seventeen years of life.
The very instant that I saw Ian take his last breath that is when I felt something strong inside me broke, and I felt a flow of vigor course through my body and enter Ian’s body, gradually bringing his life back. But right after my magic died down, my body started to shut down too, due to all the exhaustion, but I think it was worth it.
“Sarina?” I heard a distant voice call my name, which made me stir in my sleep, and I tried so hard to open my eyes, but it was like someone has placed blocks of bricks on top of my eyelids. After a couple of failed attempts, I managed to open my eyes and stare at a distressed-looking Ashton.
