Chapter 48(The Beginning of the end; Part V: Surprise, surprise!)

“Does it hurt?” Eloise asked, sadly. She ran her fingers along Serafine’s right arm. Serafine's right arm contorted with a grotesque elegance, as sinister black fern-like veins slithered down her skin, a haunting testament to the creeping darkness that was slowly consuming her very being.

“No,” She replied with a smile. They had been seated in the garden for a while now. Eloise took the time to confide in Serafine. She told her about the dreams and visions she’d been having lately. She told her how it had transitioned from rare dreams to reoccurring and vivid dreams. She also told her about her meeting with Syphe and how scary and malicious her aura was.

“You shouldn’t have done....”
