Chapter Twenty Four

Sarah knew that all eyes were on her and she couldn't afford to break down and give spectators a juicy scandal to partake so with a smile she rose from her seat and walked towards the garden. Having the wedding reception at Bradford Hall was the best decision they had made because of its beautiful scenery due to the gorgeous orange groves surrounding the property and also having Bradford Hall as her second home made it easy for Sarah to find the right spot for a bit of solitude.

She could feel her heartbeat quicken and her pulse race as she neared her chosen destination. Drawing in air became difficult as she walked into the orangery and sat down. Tears clouded her eyes and she let out a sob before a single tear rolled down her cheek. By the time that tear tear hit the floor, it was followed in succession by a flood of tears and Sarah's body shook as the tidal waves of tears fell from her eyes.
