"I want to kiss you Sarah, I've wanted to do it ever since I saw you on that balcony." Jonah spoke against her skin as his hands wrapped around her waist.
Sarah shivered, goosebumps erupting all-over her skin. This was the one man on Earth that she had vowed to hate eternally yet he was the only one who could set her body on fire. "I can't..." Sarah hated how breathy her voice sounded.
"You want me to kiss you, you can lie from your lips but your body tells a different tale." Jonah spoke against the column of her neck placing a kiss on her pulse point. A smile spread on his face when she let out a moan. She wanted him and that's exactly where he wanted her.

Jonah Holland and Sarah Sutton have hated each other all their lives. Having been forced to grow up together as neighbors in the bustling city of London in the late 1800, the two are forced apart by fate. Only to be reunited years later as strangers, the two rivals must put aside their differences and work together. Forever Yours (Truce 1)

<p>Sarah raced over to Jonah's side, the minute she heard the sharp thwack of knuckles connecting with a hard jaw. It was clear that Jonah hadn't expected the blow but that didn't stop him from blocking the subsequent blows coming from his furious brother-in-law. Jonah reigned in his temper even as the poorly executed attempts to hurt him were distributed across his skin. Jonah's moment of self preservation was interrupted by a shiver of dread racing up his spine when he heard Sarah's panicked voice by his side. "Charles stop hitting him!"  </p>

<p>Jonah didn't put it against Charles to hit Sarah just to hurt him so with one perfectly executed blow to the gut, Jonah put distance between himself and the madman before standing before his wife. With Sarah safely behind him and with Charles hugging his stomach like he'd just gotten shot, everything was back in his control.</p>
