Chapter 31

Sarah looked at the two sheets of paper in her hand and she couldn't help feel the emotion rise in the back of her throat. Sarah watched as a drop of her tears dropped onto one of the letters, smudging the ink.

  On one of those sheets lay the happiest news of her life while the other made any good news that she had pale in the reality of what was going on. It was slowly becoming one of those days that Sarah regretted rising from bed that morning. Not only was her stomach churning from her barely recovered stomach illness but now the news was also making the situation worse, much worse.
