You can trust me

Shark slowly opened the package and put the cream on his hand. He didn't know what to do, just apply on her face randomly? After a few seconds of rubbing the cream on her face, he thought that maybe he was rubbing too hard. He asked a little uneasy, "Is it painful?" Yara who had subconsciously closed her eyes opened them and mumbled, "No, I do not feel any pain." She was too comfy as his soft, gentle hands worked on her face. His palms light like a feather which made Yara feel a fire burn inside her from the bottom up.

Soon, the cream began itching her cheeks and she flinched several times.

"Ahh!" She hissed in pain.

"Wait for a while, the pain will go away." He caressed her hair to ease her. Yara tugged her little hands on his shirt pulling him closer to her.

"Hush, hush, use my body the way you want. The pain will subside in no time."

"Huh?" She withdrew her hands deliberately after realizing how she was making him uncomfortable.

"I like it when you cling onto me, you can trust me." He raised his eyebrows staring at her hard. His eyes were deep, like a deep ocean, with a sexy appeal. The smell of pimecrolimus cream was pervasive and spreading between the two of them, which made Yara unexpectedly feel an atmosphere of uncertainty between them.

His eyes like black pearls, dark and unique gawped at her intently as she did nothing else but stare at his lips perhaps wondering if he'd ever kiss her. Shark was tempted by her prying at his lips which were dangerously close to hers. He had never known the feeling of burning desire and uncontrollable lust until he saw her.

They only knew each other for a few days and yet she felt familiar to him. It was as though his life was precisely missing that part, the most inestimable one that he had always wanted. Yara looked down and he knew she was defeated. He took a deep breath and moved away from the mirror countertop.

"Stay in bed after you're done." He uttered deliberately with a tone covering his emotions in his heart. Shark stood at the door for a moment thinking of the stunned face of Yara, the corners of his lip curled into a smile. He could feel flames roaring profoundly and passionately in his heart. There had been countless instances of mind-boggling temptations, but he had never felt anything remotely like that before. That was inevitable from the first time they met. It was never like that when he met Olivia even though he was his first and true love.

Not until the door was closed that Yara recovered her sanity as if she had just woken up. "Huh! What just happened? Was I too obvious?" She patted her cheeks that were completely healed and leaned back on the mirror countertop, thinking about Shark's eyes. How she almost went insane just by his seductive gaze, she felt she couldn't bear it anymore. She thought about him, gently treating her face, his closeness and more so his touch. She could feel her ears blazing and her heart started to pound irrepressibly.

What if she was head over heels in love with him? When Yara had strayed to wonderland, her phone suddenly vibrated. She took the phone and saw the message. The name "Grandpa" flashing on the screen made her jump down in a jiffy. Everything from the beginning came rushing to her mind and she finally remembered what had happened earlier, how she was supposed to stop over at the pharmacy and buy insulin dosage for her grandfather.

She went downstairs looking for Shark who was busy helping Grasha set the table. It was dinnertime.

"Hey, I told you to stay in bed. Why are you acting so stubborn?" Shark was a little angered by seeing her troubling herself to get down from two floors up.

"I have to be on my way, where can I get a change of clothes?"

"You're still faint, go back to bed. I'll bring you something to eat shortly." Shark was worried so much about her.

"No, I have to rush to see my grandpa. I forgot that I needed to replace his insulin dosage." Yara stumbled her feet hard on the floor.

"Shh! Let me take care of it." He trailed his thumb over her soft lips. His sudden touch send wild tremors down her spine and for a moment she was in a daze. Grasha and the maids excused themselves when they saw the two in the middle of something. Yara was lost in his eyes and so he was. He studied her face, eyes, nose and then his focus shifted to her pink lips.

"My grandpa will be angry if I don't show up. It's getting late...."

"And I said I'll take care of it. Trust me, I got you covered." Shark assured her constantly.

"But..."

"Another word from you and I'll kiss you." He teased her and she knitted her brows. "Be a good girl." He caressed her cheeks scooping her up into his arms. He took her back to bed and Grasha walked in with her food.

"Make sure you eat all of it." He gave her a warning before walking out. Grasha couldn't help but smile for the way he was so overprotective of her. It was her first time seeing Shark so gentle with a woman.
