The Girls pov

Standing there in the darkness I stand corrected; this world is full of hypocrites. They act nasty then they defend themselves when you tell them. They say they're a great person, and list all the wonderful things they've done.

I look up, you can see my lifeless eyes; standing before you. All I see is darkness. Then my mom comes into my room. I quickly change my expression and put on a happy face. My mom turns on the light, and asks why the light was not on, I lie and say, "because it gives a cozy feeling!" She gives me a doubtful look but when she sees my face full of smiles she lets go of her doubt. "I wanted to let you know that I'll be running some errands and I'll see you later." I say okay and once she leaves the house I drop the fake smile and turn off the lights in my room.

Why am I feeling depressed you say? It's all because of them. The police, and the teachers. I get that they were worried about my safety but… I'm traumatized again. Now I shake when I see police or security. I walk to my bed and plop myself down, then I get a call from my boyfriend. I feel too lazy to get the phone so I let it ring, and then it stops. Then it begins again, I figure I should get it because then he'll think something's wrong. I pick up the phone and take a deep breath, ready to fake a happy voice. "What's wrong? Why didn't you pick up the first time?" He asks, his voice full of worry. I say "my phone was faraway."

We continue to chat and then it ends. Then here I am… all alone, again. Now a crying spell had begun. Tears start falling from my eyes. Muffled sounds coming from my mouth, and a look of despair coming from my face. It wasn't all because of the police, they were trying to put her in residential care. More stress started coming into her head, overwhelming her. She wanted to scream but she knew that wouldn't be appropriate.

Then there was a knock at the door. That's odd, they weren't expecting anyone. I opened the curtains in the living room and saw it was my boyfriend. Shoot! My eyes were puffy and they were red from crying! If he sees me like this!? He knocked again and I had no choice but to open the door. He saw my eyes and immediately looked concerned. We went to my room and I told him why I was feeling this way. He called his brother and then he came. When he say my confused face he explained what he was doing. Apparently they were going to do a mini party with just the three of us to make me feel better. They were even going to get a cake. Of course I got my moms permission.
