The break up

The group was hanging out at the park playing and eating together. They were all having fun until Elizabeth spotted Josh on the bench staring at his phone unhappy, so she quickly rushed to him.

"What's wrong with you?" She asked as she sat down next to him, he looked at her in the eyes with a sad look on his face and said, "She broke up with me." Deep inside she was happy and excited that she can finally get her chance but now she had to comfort him. "What! Why?" She pretend to be shocked, "I don't know why she just told me now." He replied while staring at his phone. "Don't worry, it'll be fine," she said as she took the chance and hugged him. As she hugged him she smiled from his back while patting him.

"Awh, look at the two love birds," Love teased them as she approached them. Elizabeth quickly stopped hugging him and nervously smiled at her. "What's going on here?" Love asked as he squeezed between them, "Well Josh just broke up with his girlfriend." Elizabeth replied, "Is that why your sad, don't worry you'll find someone better she wasn't all that not to lie," she remarked as she shrugged her shoulders, "you really don't know how to comfort someone do you?" Josh said looking at her. Love got up smiling and said, "Come on bro, don't let her ruin your day. Look you have Elizabeth and all of our other friends to comfort you so there's no need to be sad over one stupid girl." Then Elizabeth smiled at him and nodded his head. "Maybe Love is right, she was very toxic not going to lie," she added as she got up, Josh chuckled a little and they all decided to go back to their friends. "HEY GUYS JOSH JUST BROKE UP WITH HIS SHITY GIRLFRIEND LETS CELEBRATE!" Love shouted as she ran, "WHOHOO!" They all rejoiced as they hugged each other. "Wow did they hate her that much," Josh said surprised, Elizabeth chuckled a little bit and nodded her head.

Later that same evening at Elizabeth's house in her room she and the girls are laughing and gossiping. But she seemed very distracted by her phone and the girls noticed it. "Who are you texting there?" Love asked curious, "well I'm just checking on Josh to see if he is okay." she replied nervously smiling. The girls looked at each other and squealed. "Awh, look at you being a great girlfriend," Love teased, "I already told you that he only likes me as a friend and nothing more." She said in a sad tone, "Well come on don't be like that, now that he has broken up with his shiny girlfriend you can hit your shot and change his mind about you," Aria remarked, "I agree, this is the time for you to get the love of your life." Destiny said smiling, "Don't be dumb Destiny." She laughed it off. "They are right, you don't want to end up like me single and desperate." Love remarked giggling a little.

The girls looked at her suspiciously and with smirks on their faces. "What, why are you guys looking at me like that?" Love asked confused. "Speaking of you, what's going on with you and Davian?" Aria asked curious, "What do you mean?" Love said nervously, "You guys seem oddly close," Destiny remarked, "and recently you're talking to him a lot." Elizabeth added with a smirk on her face. Love nervously laughed and said, "What do you mean, it's not weird for us to talk since we are friends." "That's the question, when did you two become friends?" Aria asked full of suspicion, "Well you know, we have the same classes and we're working on a project together so that's why," she nervously replied, "I still don't buy it," Elizabeth added, "Okay, okay I'll tell you. Well, I kinda like him and since we were working together I took the opportunity and asked him for his number and that's how we started talking." She said as she gave in, "See now was that hard to say." Destiny said shaking her head.

The next day at school

Elizabeth and Josh were walking down the hall talking and laughing until they saw his ex. When they made eye contact his ex quickly grabbed a random guy and kissed him. But Elizabeth and Josh looked at each other and giggled as they walked past them. "That was a whole mess," Elizabeth whispered and she laughed. Meanwhile, when his Ex saw that she didn't care she pushed the guy away as she clenched her teeth. She looked at the boy angrily and then she walked away.

In science class

"Okay, now you guys should get into a pair of two and get started on the project." The teacher said as she sat down at her table. Since Josh and Elizabeth were sitting together they decided to work together. On the other hand, Daniel and Aria were working together and Sammy and Destiny were working today, the only person that didn't have a partner was Love. She looked at her friends as they started working and she just sat there on her own. "I guess I'm just gonna work by myself." She mumbled. Then suddenly a guy came behind her and ask, "Hey love wanna work together?" When Love turned around to see she smiled so happily, "Yeah sure!" She said in excitement, "Cool." The guy said as he sat next to her. The guy's name was Davian, the guy love has been crushing on for a while and she's been talking to him. "I called you last night, why didn't you pick up?" Davian asked before they started working, "I was with the girls and my phone was on silent that's why." she replied nervously.

After school Love is walking with Davian to the bus stop. When they got to his bus he asked, "Oh yeah before I wanted to ask if you're free next week?" "Yeah, why?" Love asked, "oh I just thought it'll be fun if we could hang out a little, and I have something to tell you," he remarked, "sure just text me the place and time," Love said with a big smile "oh don't worry I'll pick up, and it's a date." He said as he entered the bus. "It's a date!" She said excitedly. Suddenly Sammy and Daniel came jumping from behind her shouting, "Looks like our baby love is not going to be single anymore!" Love slightly flinched and slapped their heads, "I told you guys not to do that anymore, you scared me." She remarked, "Aww, come Love don't be like that your finally going to get a boyfriend." They both teased her. "Looks Love has found the love of her love." Josh said from afar, "Josh I'm going to kill you!" She yelled then they all laughed.
