An Acturian Wolf...

"Urhhh" A yawn sounded within this pinkish vicinity while a figure as entralling as nature stretched. He looked like the finest painting any physical sights could behold and his milky skin glistened under the effect of Dawn.

Today was another day like other days in this reclusive forest. Eradan had kept on with his daily activities of hunting hares, cooking, eating and sleeping. For the past few days he had stayed there, he hadn't noticed anything awkward except for a pile of dead birds he spotted within his abode, and that made him more cautious about his Immediate environment. Which animal fed on birds by eating out only their heart?

Ever since he beheld that, he had Immediately deviced to creating lots and lots of sharp weapons incase that insane creature ever returned back to it's home. Well, we could say he also added some physical training to his schedule although it was on few occasions.

Eradan muttered a few prayers, then grabbed one of his wooden weapon before heading for the stream at the far end of the pink forest. Long blonde hair waved and swirled at the gentle current that came by, while pink leaves rustled.

Silky long strands of blonde glistened under every patches of sunlight that fell on it.

Blue eyes as bright as the sky, darted from side to side, sternly monitoring it's environment for any slight weird movement. Although this vicinity had been very calm, who knows? Maybe they were some creatures waiting to ambush him unprepared.

Eradan kept on strolling until he had finally arrived at the stream. He set down his weapon and snapped a little twig beside him. He bit on the end of the twig until it became soft then he began to brush with it. Well, that was also part of what he learnt.

After the youth was done with that, he grabbed his weapon and dived into the stream.

Blueish green water splashed as a figure in blue outfit made his way through the streams flow. After a while of struggling with the streams current, the youth finally arrived on a moist land.

Eradan took some moments to admire the pink forest of the other side, including the sight of sunlight on the stream before it. And with what he had seen so far, these two natural scapes kept looking more astonishing as days went by.

When the youth was done admiring those alluring natural scene, he shifted his gaze to the forest before him. Lips parted in a stressed sigh as it's owner made his way into this forrest.

Chirp!

Chirp!

The cacophonic sounds of birds welcomed Eradan into this coniferous forest he visited daily. A weak smile graced his lips as he went on with his steps... Such welcoming creatures.

With bland steps, the youth delved deep into the heart of this forest, heading for his specific hunting ground.

After a while, the spear grass vegetation had already come in sight and with a few more steps, he was right there.

Eradan's ears picked up rustling sounds from a corner of the grassy vegetation before him, making a corner of his lips raise. Today's hunting was indeed fast and easy He thought, as other days of his hunting were really tedious.

Eradan shifted his attention to the rustling origin and slowly began to approach it, firmly grabbing his weapon. Once the youth was in close proximity to the rustling sound, he sent his spear flying towards the direction.

STUD!

The rustling sound was replaced with silence. With cautious strides and attentive ears, the youth approached the position where his spear had landed.

"Wow!" Eradan jubilated at his new catch, it was some sort of miniature antelope. If he could remember clearly, they were called dik-dik or something.

Shunning the thought, the youth quickly carried his prey to decided to head back. Thinking about the name wouldn't fill his belly. Eradan was about to leave when his side eye caught sight of something.

"..."

Slowly, Eradan shifted his gaze to the position where he had spotted something. It was a paper that was rolled and bounded by a red ribbon. The youth surveyed his surrounding for any mishap, then dropped the prey he carried.

Eradan walked towards it and picked it up. The back of this scroll was really coarse, but still, it looked new. Was someone else living here?  He furrowed his brows as he scrutinized the tied scroll. He was really getting curious to know what was within that scroll bounded by a crimson ribbon.

He thoroughly scrutinized his Immediate environment to be sure if there was any living being around him, who knows? It could be a bobby trap. His guards were all up as he carefully but gently pulled out the ribbon leaving only a coiled up paper.

Eradan wanted to open the paper but hesitated at some point. He didn't know why, but why was he suddenly afraid of an ordinary scroll. Ocean blue eyes, once again, scrutinized the environment around it before finally settling on a scroll before it.

Bracing himself, the youth rolled the paper open. Lips parted in a 'O' as eyes widened at what it was. A map? It was a fucking map that got him this tensed.

However, Eradan was happy with this new finding. He roamed his eyes over the map of this unknown world he was in. He was really astonished with the amount of kingdoms, forest and lands that were in this world.

Eradan recoiled the map back and stuffed it in his cloth. He carried his prey and decided to head back to his turf. He was going to looking into the map later.

In a cave miles away from the youth harboured several men. Within this cave was tense as the leader was angry at his subordinate's deed .

"Arrgh Flint! Where's em map?"

A buff man in a hat growled furiously. He looked menacingly at a smaller one who scurried around looking for what he was ordered to bring.

"I—It should... be here cap'n" The smaller man answered capsizing a box nearby, likewise littering the floor with it's content.

"Not it, Not it, Not it... Not it"

He muttered to himself as he went through a list of papers. His hands trembled while fear crept to his heart. What if he had misplaced it? But that wasn't possible, he was sure he kept the map somewhere safe.

After his search with no positive result, he stood up and headed for a table nearby. He was already an inch close to the table when,

THUD!

A sharp knife penetrated the rock beside him, preventing him from moving further. His eyes were reflected by the blades of the knife.

"Keep off! Cap's map isn't there."

Came from an individual who sat on a protruded rock nearby. Both hands rested on one knee while the other leg swung freely beside the protruded rock.

"Junkies! You could've killed me" Flint directed his gaze to the man who threw the dagger at him.

" Well I didn't... But I would if you cross that dagger" The other smiled.

With a sigh, the stout man retracted his steps and continued his search at other places. He was about to dishevel the whole cave into pure chaos. The captain who watched his subordinate, sat down on a chair and drummed his fingers on a table before him. He remained calm, penting up the rage within him and getting ready to lash out at this clumsy minor of his.

"Flint.... Forgotten we have a mage within us?" A lady said while going through a book. She was already tired with the ruckus her crew member was causing within their abode.

"Sometimes, you need to take care of that brain of yours" She added, putting down to the book she was reading.

"AYE CAPTAIN, LOOK WHAT WE FOUND!!"

Came a loud voice, out of the Blues. Every single individual within that cave shifted their gaze to the location of the voice, spotting a fellow member hurriedly dart into the cave.

"Captain! A creature worth large amount of gold has been found" The individual said just as he was close enough to his leader. He was breathing heavily as he had ran to inform them about the good news.

"Slow down boy" The captain said "Where ar' the others?"

"They're guarding it cap'n" the other replied.

" Good, Then tell us about the creature?" The female within them chipped in. The individual sent his gaze towards all of them, noticing the look of anticipation on their face. Heaving a sigh, he answered,

"It's a wolf with golden fur"

Five pairs of eyes widened with shock at the report from their member. They stared at each other not able to comprehend what they had heard. Could it? Could it be... The Acturian Wolf.

A loud howl resonated around them. Blimey!.. The others. The Immediately rushed out of their Haven to the source of the houl, totally forgetting about their lost map...
