Cupid...

Cupids they were called. Descendants of the goddess Venus... The goddess of love.

This phenomenal individuals could only be spotted in royal bloods and Noble families. Hence, they were known as high statuted and very rare to be seen or noted. Cupids are said to be beautiful, alluring and elegant males just like their predecessor. Quite coquettish in behavior.

In a noble family. Or a Royal blooded family. The chances of giving birth to a Cupid usually came right after the third child. If perse the fourth child was a girl then there would no Cupid until a male child was born.

Cupids as they were called were hermaphrodite beings. Although born male, they end up possessing two reproductive organs after a change called... Blooming.

The Blooming of a Cupid was the possession of the second organ he wasn't giving birth to. It could come early. It could come late. One thing was that the latter won't be aware until he notices weird signs.

Cupids could only be recognized by a few sets of individuals. Nobles, High ability mages, royal blooded individuals. In the eyes of others, they were seen as females unless if an intercourse had been done with them. More details in page 500 'The Napelagon Ecclesiastes."

Eradan turned shades of red as Andrew read an article concerning the term he needed to know about. It was embarrassing. Especially the last part. And Andrew was totally aware of it. So technically, he was now a half male, half female. The thought and awareness of it was still unsettling to him. Though he'd known about this earlier. UwU

Andrew dropped the huge book at a corner just as he was done. Amber eyes now on blue ones.

"That has been settled." Andrew said before he noticed a glint of uncertainty flash through the eyes of the other. This individual before him was really unreadable. His emotions... Strange. Andrew felt a subconscious shiver run down his spine. Was something wrong?

"This would be second time I'm asking it." Lips parted, as Eradan spoke, "Who changed... my outfit?..."

Andrew was taken aback... Really? This individual still dwelled on a question of days or rather, weeks ago. He thought he had totally evaded the question after they were attacked by vasperies. Why was he bringing back the topic?

"Ahem!" He cleared his throat and looked away. This question was really unavoidable. "I did... But I didn't see anything. I swear."

Blue eyes widened at his response "You did?!" unbelievable! Eradan was caught off guard. He was expecting a different answer or something else. But. But. He sighed... He would just ignore it.

Crisp currents came by, luring him to their lullabies. Eradan gently got up and walked towards the window. His slender back facing Andrew.

Andrew watched this figure before him. Quite Amused.

"...?"

The face of a certain youth was up. This time. Brows creased in deep thought. Since Cupids were known to be nobles and Royal Blood. Then the owner of this body was a royalty. His 'Almost' killer also asked about that earlier.

But how?

How was he going to know the royalty the previous owner was from?

Eradan thought hard for any piece of clue. Any clue that could lead him to an answer.

Suddenly. he remembered something. The ice symbol on his blue outfit! That might be a clue!

From the window back to Andrew he grabbed the book which Andrew had used earlier. He didn't want Andrew to be aware of what he sought for. With the book in his hold, footsteps ended up outside. Beyond Andrew's home. Into the lush green vegetations that graced the golden haze of sunlight.

Startled and suprised on what displayed before him, Andrew casted a glance at the playing wolf and Robin. A snorted smile graced his lips as he got up and walked towards the kitchen. To prepare something for them.

.....

Few hours later,

Slow and steady, Eradan flipped through the pages of this fat book he held. This was the fifth time he flipped through all it's pages, getting really impatient and frustrated. Not an ounce of information concerning Noble families were there. However, Eradan could say he was really impressed with the amount of creatures within this world as stated by the book.

An exasperating sigh followed "Just useless." He dropped the book, his gaze now on the environment. Admiring it's beauty.

Eradan got on his feet and decided to do a little practice on his distinct ability.

Eyes closed. Eradan began to reminiscence those words  he heard before discovering his ability.

Eradan...

Blue divinity. Mist like, swirled and turned, seeping out of the youth's body. He was enclosed by blue divinity.

Search within yourself and you'll find your true ability...

Despite being a novice, he had read a few things about channeling energy. And that, He was going to try out.

Blue divinity trailed themselves towards the youth palms. Congealing and forming... An ice Orb. Larger than the others.

You're an ability wielder....

BOOM!

With immense speed and force, this chrystallized orb was directed and shot. However, launching the youth backwards.

"Ugh!" He groaned as his back left the tree it hit. Knees on the leafy floor. Eradan panted heavily, back straining. This power of his was really stronger than his current body that he would have to continue his previous physical training he stopped doing. Eradan looked up, hoping to the result of his practice... But beheld nothing. His orb of ice was nowhere to be found.

Blue eyes narrowed. Maybe it shot out of sight. He thought. Hopefully, nobody was going to be affected.

Concurrently, the ears of a certain wolf perked up. It stopped whatever it was doing and gazed at a distinct direction. Blue beady eyes... Blinked.

Two partisans, dressed in black oufits, walked towards an apartment that was secluded. Far away from the rest. Both footsteps resonated as they walked.

The crocheted door that seemed distant was now in front of them. With a glance at each other, they braced themselves to dish out their current report on their missing second young master.

A gentle knock on the wooden crocheted door...

"Come in..." A voice said and both walked in. Embracing the normal luxurious room of their first young master... Lloyd.

"Greetings master Lloyd." Both greeted in unison, heads bowed in utmost respect before raising up.

"hmm..." This young Master impassively reacted to both greetings. Afterwards, he asked, " Any new findings on his whereabout?" Patiently awaiting a positive response.

This room's atmosphere welcomed an irksome quienscence as both partisans stole glances at each other; unsure of who to start first.

"Speak!" Lloyd ordered, getting frustrated with their antics. At his statement, both shivered before, one last time, casted a glance at each other.

"There has been no information about him... Young master. However, there's said to have been a lady who sold shoes with that same description..." One boldly spoke up.

" And so?" Lloyd uttered, no ounce of concern. Anger noticeable in his tone. A round black berry was picked and sent to his mouth before being chewed. "How does this lady have to do with my missing little cousin who hasn't been found for more than a week now?... Hmm?"

The room's temperature became hot and suffocating and they could feel it. The intense rage. They had obviously disappointed their young master for eleven times in a row.

"I... I... I'm not sure young master. But words also have it that she claimed to be a man. And with my knowledge of young master Francis, he has feminine figure... Those of a Cupid."

" Hence, that is why we feel like that is master Francis though we aren't sure." The other backed up Immediately.

....

Fingers paused on the black berry that was supposed to be picked. Midnight blue eyes slited. That was true! His little cousin possessed feminine figures as a Cupid. What if, or maybe that was him. That should definitely be him. Lloyd's mood brightened in pure Bliss and revived hope as he sat up straight, fingers now carressing his smooth chin.

Noticing his delighted mood, a pair of heart resumed beating. A sigh escaping both lips. They were so fortunate to have escaped the wrath of their first young master.

"You both should resume your search while I head out to meet the Moonshine Domicile. Search and inquire every nook and cranny and make sure you're back with him... We'll be heading home today." Lloyd said getting on his feet. The pale looks on both partisans face were etched with sorrow. What if they weren't going to find him today, what was going to be their fate?

"Don't fail me this time..." They both heard, their heart sinking in it's lowest abyss.

"Yes master, we won't." Both answered, and exited. Not forgetting to bow.

This young Master beckoned the remaining partisans on their movement to Zanstral city... They had a fellow noble to meet.
